[8.0] "I loved this. I always enjoy well structured Battle Royals. I like the tradition of doing this every year and I like the opportunity to see a unique match featuring talent you wouldn't normally see up against one another. Good separate stories playing out in the red and the blue ring. The Mogul Embassy dominated much of the match in both rings so it made sense for Swerve to get right to the end."
[4.0] "This felt very unimportant. Battle Royale's/Rumble's are one of my favourite type of matches but this felt very flat. The only saving grace was the finishing spot where Darby Allen spears through the middle ropes. No real spots in the match, the dual rings being a downfall for the camera work as always felt a bit behind. Just feels like this was booked purely for the finish and nothing much happens in it. Komander getting an elimination was probably the only other noteworthy point for me."
[6.0] "This was a fun match, but nothing particularly special. There's some fun stuff, especially towards the end, that make this worth the watch. Seeing Suzuki randomly show up was cool, but I thought he was a little bit wasted in the match. He could have gone for a long time, but it felt as though he was only in the match for a few minutes before being suddenly eliminated."
[6.0] "Solides Match.Zwar ein recht hohes Tempo, aber leider auch etwas zu lang.Nette Storyelemente dabei und sehr schön das Nick Wayne so lange dabei war, leider auch wieder mit Darby Superbooking, was bei der ganzen Geschichte mit Swerve aber auch logisch war. ***"
[2.0] "This was pretty bad, honestly one of the worst AEW matches ever considering it took half an hour. Poorly-booked and predictable; did anyone at any point think the final two would ever be anyone else? Darby Allin managed to make 3 different midcard tag teams look like geeks in one match. Very boring despite two different rings offering a chance for continual storytelling and spots, which simply didn't happen. And apparently Nick Wayne changed the game settings so you can just go back and forth between rings as you please, which kind of defeats the purpose of the match. Toa Liona looked especially dumb leaving his ring then, I dunno, getting worried about getting in trouble so he just scurried back into his ring. Lots of standing around, no interesting eliminations, Suzuki was wasted again, really just very bad and boring and a waste of time. Avoid at all costs."
[4.0] "It was just not interesting at all. There was not a single moment in the match that I found interesting or exciting. There was absolutely nothing that could have caught my attention as a viewer. Darby Allin seemed to me to be absolutely overbooked here. He was beaten by a dozen people and still won, how is that possible? They should have given the title shot to someone more deserving than him, that's for sure."
[6.0] "A really good ending fight between Swerve and Darby - apart from that some of it is a bit harder to get into but it does prove that AEW has a stacked midcard."
[4.0] "Couldn't get into this at all. It was basically 20 minutes of entrances and the only real saving grace was the finishing spot, and even then Jericho botched the announcement claiming Allan had only won because Strickland's feet touched the ground first, meaning it had to be pointed out to him that Allan had gone through, not over, the ropes, so whoever's feet touched first didn't matter. This is an interesting concept, and they obviously needed to do something with the dual ring that was there from Blood and Guts Dynamite, but it just didn't work."
[6.0] "Pretty standard battle royale. Not a lot of memorable spots in my opinon, but the stuff with the Mogul Embassy was fun. Darby getting powerbombed onto skateboard trucks was brutal. That probably took 5 years out of his wrestling life. And the spear through the ropes was so good."
[4.0] "Komander attempts to self eliminate immediately by botching his entry move on the top rope. Commentary covers as usual. Not much else of interest happens until the very end with Darby."
[7.0] "This would be mid-tier for a Royal Rumble but is pretty good for a Royal Rampage. So damn weird to me that so many promotions screw up such a simple concept to get right (to be partial, even WWE has screwed them up too)."
[6.0] "Good match. A lot of good action. Some good exchanges and twists in the match. Interesting angle in how the three guys from the Pacific Northwest were highlighted in this match."
[8.0] "I like the concept of the Royal Rampage. Had several good moments in the match. Wish they had a few more stars instead of some of the tag guys who have never gotten a real singles push in AEW. Swerve would have been a good pick to win. Overall good match"
[7.0] "A long, somewhat tedious match but holy lord what a great finish! Darby comes out looking like a champion and Swerve looks formidable in defeat. Nick Wayne continues to look like a star in the making."
[7.0] "Good fun Royal Rampage rules battle royale right here which was the typical match we're used to seeing with battle royales but it was pretty well booked and thanks to the editing and the added sound they did, the crowd didn't look dead and so much the better because usually in AEW, battle royales are particularly dreadful because of the crowds which are often super quiet. The booking was nice with some cool elements, and a good showing for Nick Wayne."
[7.0] "Darby wieder in Daredevil Manier das Finale fand ich spannend. Darby und Swerve mit ihrer DEFY Vergangenheit, das Skatebord wurde eingebaut. Für das insgesamte (***1/4) und mein Match of the Night."
[8.0] "It was surprisingly funny to watch. They have created good spots throughout the length of the match and I appreciated the different "intensity" between the two rings: the blue one was chaotic and full of action, while the red one was slow-paced, less crowded and and with more storytelling. Arguably the best AEW Battle Royal of the year and maybe one of the best ever."
