[1.0] "I really don't like these kinds of cinematic matches that Matt and Jeff Hardy seem to love so much. Only thing that keeps me from giving this a 0 is that I will always laugh at Matt Hardy going "Orgasmic Isiah, I knew you'd come" and Isiah Kassidy yelling back "I ALWAYS DO MY BROTHA! " after he moans and hits a dive off the roof and starts humping the ground. Aside from that, this is pretty awful in my opinion. As someone who isn't into the Hardy Brothers lore and all their wacky high concept stuff that they try to do in wrestling, this was a colossal miss for me."
"I'll not leave a rating on this one. The concept of the Firm Deletion is a bit washed up, but it stills enjoyable to watch. For sure, it had some fun moments. A guy like Stokely Hathaway made it this cinematic fight really cool. Otherwise, it was just the (declining) Hardys doing their shit. The Firm kept this shit interesting. Poor guys, this is how they get TV time. That moan of Isiah Kassidy before jumping out of the roof was surely the higlight of the bout. He had my "Oh yeaaaaaaah", that's a sure thing, yeah."
[7.0] "Man, this was really stupid but also really fun. Matt and Jeff popularized cinematic matches with The Final Deletion in 2016, and, while not nearly as good as that, this was exactly what it was meant to be: entertaining. Never did I think that, in 2023, I'd see Isiah Kassidy moan to get the attention of a bunch of wrestlers, dive onto a said wrestlers, and then proceed to hump the floor. I love professional wrestling."
[8.0] "Had a lot of callbacks and fun moments but to me not as good as the Impact Hardy Compound matches. A lot of good moments like the kids being involved and Brother Zay's work but just did not capture me like the Impact Hardy matches did."
[9.0] "I like that the heel team here tried to get the jump on the babyfaces by coming during the daytime, and that the Hardys had an answer for it. Highlights of this match for me: - Big Bills stock is rising. He seems like a legit monster. - Brother Zays hero comeback spot as Orgasmic Isiah cracked me up. - Stokely Hathaway getting his butt whooped by Matts wife, children, and father-in-law made me laugh out loud. - The Jeff Hardy rebirth symbolism at the end actually touched me."
[6.0] "This was pretty entertaining and had some very cool moments like: the swanton bomb by Brother Zay (protect this man at all cost) or Stokely Hathaway being destoyed by the Hardy's family (once again protect this man at all cost). A also a couple of tables got destroyed and even if this match was a mess, it was somehow good."
[7.0] "Honestly, I found it a very entertaining match. I found the first part with only the wrestling moves too confusing and also quite boring, but everything else was very fun and entertaining, and the ending is interesting. A good last chapter (for now) of the "Deletion Trilogy", as I like to call it"
[4.0] "There were some funny moments, mainly featuring Stokely, though a lot of the comedy missed the mark. The brawling was fine for the most part, with Cass, Isiah and Hook delivering the most exciting offense, but a lot of it wasn't very compelling. Overall many steps behind other cinematic matches."
[0.0] "Cinematic matches are hit and miss and this is as miss as it goes. I love AEW a lot, but man this Hardy compound stuff needs stop. That's really all that needs to be said, but there's a minimum word count. It's bad, awful, terrible, crappy, bad awful, not funny, silly, ridiculous, bad terrible, bad awful."
[8.0] "This was a lot of fun, but I don't understand why they had commentary during this. There's no need for commentary during cinematic matches, at all."
[9.0] "This was an excellent Broken universe match. Stokely Hathaway and Brother Zay were the highlights. Jeff Hardy looked pretty good and Hook fitted in like a glove. Lee Moriarty played a nice homage to Bruce Lee and displayed some interesting martial arts moves. Seeing Matt's family take part was great and this was a nice continuation of Matt Hardy's broken universe."
[9.0] "It doesn't quite have the spark of the original broken Matt stuff, but I still had a lot of fun watching this. The highlight was definitely Stokely, all his bits really embraced the extreme weirdness of the match, which is exactly what they should be doing. One complaint, please do NOT put commentary over these matches."
[4.0] "in no way compares to the previous ultimate deletion matches, this one isn't awful but it reeeeally ain't great. felt like they just went to the compound for one night and used the footage they got and said "fuck it, this'll do.""
[3.0] "Not usually a fan of "cinematic" matches despite being a big fan of the Broken Matt universe. This installment in particular seemed to rely a lot on nostalgic references to recycled material rather than the novel surprises and genuine absurdity of The Final Deletion."
[3.0] "I've always been a fan of Brocken Universal Hardy, but this was...terrible. Incredibly boring and secondary match, Matt has always been creative, but there are only constant self-repetitions. And, worst of all, it's poorly implemented. The cinematography, the directing... it all made an already crappy match very boring. Ethan Page, and perhaps King Maxwell, seemed the only ones who were enthusiastic. And, well, the appearance of Isei pleased, but that's all. I'm so sad that such a promising Ethan Page in his best years is engaged in utter nonsense. Ethan didn't even own a TNT championship hot potato. A real shame..."
[9.0] "I had a freaking blast watching this Firm Deletion match with the Firm vs Hardy Boyz/Hook/Isiah Kassidy here. I was super amused and entertained throughout this banger main event."
[3.0] "This felt overlong and boring. Nothing too special here at all to set it apart from other cinematic matches. Obviously humour is subjective but a lot of that fell flat for me too."
[9.0] "Maybe personal preference but I truly enjoyed this Deletion more then any others from the past. The comedy spots all hit for me, the action could be extreme and technical yet that good kind of sloppy fighting youd expect in the woods. Great showing by all men involved, loved the ref spots, the Hardy kids and family getting involved. It was all great for me. I think this feud hasnt exactly had the best build but they always seem to make up for it no matter the combo during a match. This gave them all a chance to showcase technical skills and there character work was top notch. I hope this leads to Ethan Page having the story more centered around him after taking the pin and being the focal point of the heel team."
[0.0] "If they're going to do this stuff, I'm glad it's tucked away on Rampage, but "cinematic" matches to me will always be a '1' or a '2' because being able to do retakes of everything goes against the spirit of pro wrestling. Even when cinematic matches are entertaining (and it's a rare occasion), I think even a bad match performed in one take with no retakes, stunt doubles, crash mats, or pausing for set-ups between scenes is superior. On a personal level a match like this just isn't my kind of humour, either. Humour is subjective but I think it's an objectively boring experience to watch something which is meant to be funny (and has nothing else going for it) and which doesn't make you laugh at all. I'm a killjoy, I'm a stick in the mud or whatever else, but I thought this was a bit on the crap side. The first Stadium Stampede match might be the only "cinematic" match I've liked so far. I don't necessarily think this was a '0' from an entertainment perspective even though I didn't like it, but I'm rating it as a wrestling match and there's no way I could say this was a good wrestling match."
[8.0] "(3.5/5) This was very enjoyable. I loved the Stokley stuff with Matt's Family and just really fun. Good brawl and loved Ethan Page through this match seem to have a good niche with cinematic matches."
[7.0] "This was a fun event for a Rampage show, gives it something different and worth tuning in for. As a cinematic type match, this was of course not the best of the company, but it didn't need to be. It was a surprisingly hard brawl for most of it, with Stokely bringing the comedy aspects. Tony Khan will pay for his crimes."
[8.0] "Obviously this will be a very polarising match depending on your tastes in wrestling. For me however, I really enjoyed it. An entertaining segment of that show that flew by. Not the best deletion style match I've seen but still one of the better ones"
[9.0] "I didn't see the last 15 minutes go by, whereas I used to be rather bored during the last Rampage. The flaws of this main event are undeniable but what a pleasure for a viewer. Well done, comical, and the wrestling is not forgotten. I loved it."
[7.0] "Screw the haters. I dont blame anyone for disliking it but hating on it for "not being wrestling" or something of the like is unjustified in my opinion. This was some peak goofy wrestlilng. "I KNEW YOUD COME! " Im going to have to go back and watch other cinematic matches by brother nero if this is any indication on what th others are like. Favourite part of the match was easily the opening fight with the fireworks. It look beautiful"
[7.0] "What the fuck I just watch? I dont know but it was good. There wasnt much wrestling here but it was really interesting and you cant say it was boring."
[6.0] "The original Deletion Match between Matt and Jeff will never be topped, but somehow they keep trying to. There wasn't too much over the top here, but the highlights were Stokely Hathaway's d'alliances with the external Hardy family (yes, we had both Papa Briscoe and Seņor Benjamin on this show), and Isiah Kassidy transforming into Brother Zay (or "Orgasmic Isiah" if you're Matt Hardy). The wrestling content wasn't great, but the other stuff mentioned made it just about satisfactory to me."
[4.0] "This was really boring, it was not a good match and the story troughout was not really special. Another Deletions and Stadium Stampedes had good exchanges and fun easter eggs, this one didn't have anything to remember."
[5.0] "I both hated every single thing about this match as it is just not what I want from from wrestling and was richly entertained. It is no shock that everything with Stokley was the highlight. I am not sure I can score it as I don't really view it as a wrestling match but as CM is forcing me too"
[7.0] "Of course not a high quality match and it was more cinematic than wrestling but it was fun & very entertaining. Stockley's stuff was awesome I laughed a lot, Generally I enjoyed it all and in some point I believe this was necessary for AEW to provide a different type of match in wrestling shows and I rate 7 because this was different & enjoyable, but also not a satisfying wrestling type."
[5.0] "I expected a disaster, and this was not it. Was it a great match? No. But for a Friday night B-show, it was good fun. Reby and the children had fun, which is not what I want usually from my wrestling, but at this point, why not? It's likely Matt's last match of this type, so fine, let him and his brother have it one more time."
