[7.0] "Pretty good old school wrestling match, and one of the better, if not the best, main events from Smokey Mountain so far. Laughed quite a bit at the excuse given for the Koloffs not showing up."

[6.0] "The Koloffs didn't show, so The Wild Bunch take their place after Tommy Rogers gets into an altercation with Jimmy Golden in the interview area. All three Fantastics are together and I believe this was the only time this ever happened. The Wild Bunch had potential as a team. It's a shame they never went anywhere."

[5.0] "This week's main event saw a good six man tag team match. Although smoothness may be difficult in these types of situations, all six competitors worked well together, producing good spots and generally wrestling in a quite fast pace."

[8.0] "This is a great old school tv main event that set up the next week's tournament match between the Fantastics and the Wild Bunch, Tommy Rogers is a great addition to any show and Jimmy Golden is one of the unsung heroes of early SMW, he's a beyond solid worker who was perfect for a territory like this."

[6.0] "At first glance, it might seem like the crowd got shortchanged, but The Wild Bunch was a definite upgrade over The Koloffs. Deaton and Black showed a lot of promise - they were athletic, moved well, and delivered solid work. It was also great to see Tommy in SMW, bringing energy and solid chemistry with The Fultons. A nice, fast-paced match and one of the better main events in Smoky Mountain so far."

[7.0] "This was a pretty good TV main event. It ended up being good that the Koloffs were replaced with the Wild Bunch. Pretty cool seeing all three Fantastics together here, and I'm glad they got the win."

[8.0] "This was a great Six man tag team match. The Kollof's didn't show up, so instead the Fantastics attacked Jimmy Golden until the Wild Bunch came to rescue him. The match was really intense. Thw Wild Bunch impressed me a lot, they are a good tag team as far as I saw on the AJPW tape and on this match, good heels. Jimmy Golden was also good. The Fantastics played great as babyfaces with some great moves. Jimmy Golden is going to slam one of the Fantastics, but a missile dropkick from Tommy Roggers allows him to pin Golden for the win. After that there is a crazy brawl in which the Wild Bunch showed their moves, impressive stuff. I want to see next week's show to see the match between the Fanstastics and The Wild Bunch."

[6.0] "12/03/92 SMW TV SMW. The Koloff's never showed up for their match with The Fantastics. An illegal beat down by the three fantastics on poor Jimmy Golden, who was all by himself. Thankfully the Wild Bunch came to his aide and a dropkick from Tommy Rogers on his own tag team partner to finish off the match, pure ugly stuff. A chaotic enough match, with both teams showing great athleticism and technical ability inside and outside the ring. The tag division is really heating up and has babyfaces who can draw a massive pop from the crowd. A bit too chaotic for most of the match, but great talent on display and a good finish. really looking forward to these two meeting again next week. 5.5*"
