[5.0] "The first matchy of the tag team tournament, which we are doing before crowning a singles champion, apparently. I remember the Maulers as The Royal Family in WCW. Bt I remember this match as mediocre."
[5.0] "The first match of the tournament to crown the new Tag Team Champions saw two experienced teams square off each other. In a somewhat short match, pretty much everything was done right. The quick paced start, the isolation and the hot tag at the end. Basic things, no complains."
[5.0] "Nothing too exciting, but a solid match nevertheless. Morgan and Victory looked decent as a heel team, while The Riches brought good babyface energy and fire. They didn't set the place on fire, but the fans were clearly into it. Plus, Jack and Rip took some nice, fast bumps for Johnny and Davey, making for an enjoyable watch."
[3.0] "I didn't think this was very good. I just am not into the team of Jack Victory and Rip Morgan; no matter what the duo are called. Jack Victory was a fine enough worker, but I don't think Rip Morgan was that good. The Riches looked like they were pretty decent, but they didn't win here. The Maulers move on in the tag title tournament."
[6.0] "Good match to start the tag team title tournament. I think having The Maulers take the win is the correct decision, they are far better on the ring than their opponents. They are good getting heat with some cool heel moves. The Riches aren't bad, but they did not impressed me, a bit sloppy. The Maulers win after Rip Morgan hit one of the Rich with his boot."
[6.0] "12/03/92 SMW TV SMW. Karma as The Maulers claim the victory over a bunch of cheaters who must of thought it was a tornado tag match. The Riches came out to a massive pop, possibly the biggest babyface explosion in SMW so far, but it was the Maulers who showed great ability and carried the match to a classic finish. They also showed class as they took charge when The Riches came across a bit sloppy. 5.5*"
