[6.0] "In the context of the Bloodline storyline, the match is even enhanced a little. The action is absolutely fine and performed in a very slick manner. The fact that, in the end, it is Jey Uso of all people who enables his unloved Sami Zayn to win is a nice spice to the circumstances."
[5.0] "A dissapointing match giving that both Kofi and Sami are great performers, but the developing of the storyline between Sami and Jey Uso in this match and how Jey starts to help Sami is the best thing out of this bout."
[6.0] "The general story with Bloodline continues and here we saw again the development of the relationship between Uso and Sami and it was all wrapped up in a good match against Kofi, in general this is a normal decision and I was satisfied with the fight. This is the right start of the show where fans are not overloaded."
[7.0] "I really enjoyed this match from a story and in-ring perspective. The Jey and Sami stuff is brilliant, and they deliver a great match between 2 great talents. It was a bit boring early on though."
[7.0] "Sami Zayn has been on a roll as a character but finally seems to be getting to wrestle more consistently in feature matches and it reminds you just how good he is in the ring. Kofi and him meshed well."
[7.0] "3.5 stars is my rating for this match. It was an exciting match and kofi shows that he deserves to have longer matches because he can have good matches."
[6.0] "Solid opener between two of the best in WWE. A bit more old school in approach than I expected, but that is not necessarily a bad thing. This was a brawl, as Sami Zayn kept it simple with heavy strikes to keep the explosive Kofi Kingston from breaking out big offense. They hit a nice second gear late in the match and had several convincing near falls along the way. The Blue Thunder Bomb is also always a joy to see. I enjoyed the finish, as well, making this a solid three-star, 6 out of 10 match."
[7.0] "A strong opener with some fluid action. Sami is fantastic and Kofi is good. I enjoyed this. The interactions at ringside with Woods and Uso were fun to. A point deducted for botches."
[7.0] "A fight that makes me doubt when it comes to rate it, in my point of view it was good and entertaining, a decent ending for what they are, heels. And what I found worst was that in some moves they seemed to have no chemistry, however, great fight at the beginning."
[7.0] "Alright match but honestly expected a bit more from these 2, but it was what it was, nothing much to say about this match, alrighty *** 1/2 and 6.5 [7]"
[6.0] "I laughed way too hard when Sami did an "Honorary Uce" and then doing a Samoan wrecking ball to Kofi butt hurting himself in the process. The guy is having a hell or a fun run right now."
[6.0] "The next paragraph of Jey - Sami's story. The match was satisfying but not very good - just okay. This time Jey helps effectively and Sami wins. In my opinion, it would make more sense if Sami lost to a failed intervention, but I know WWE has an idea for this story and I think they know what they are doing."
