Vampiro is always a pleasure to watch, otherwise the participants simply existed in the ring. There was humor, but jokes with kisses rather made me experience a cringe. I don't see the point in such matches when they have no influence in the future."
[4.0] "I think the match itself wasn't so interesting other than seeing Vampiro get in there and actually look fairly good. I read a few years back that he had broken his back and had a brain tumour, so that was very surprising to see. Several dumb eliminations (being stunned by kisses and so on) and a pretty good rock/metal soundtrack with the entrance themes (Dio, Marilyn Manson, Metallica, and AC/DC were all in there) made this feel more like a light-hearted opener, but after the pre-festivity cage match and the long opening ceremonies, it really felt by the end of this that it was taking forever to get into the meat of the show."

It was like watching Sting work in AEW for the first time again. All power to him, glad the guy is healthy enough to go. ***1/4"
[7.0] "That was a very fun battle royale. So many different wrestlers, both old and new, were represented in this one. Felt like a love letter to Lucha Libre. Plenty of good spots in this one as well. I wouldn't have picked Nino Hamburguesa to win, but that's just me being picky. 7/10"
