[8.0] "Great match, it's the last one in their trilogy, and like Vader said at the introductions, a rubber match, considering their H2H is 1-1, this will be the definitive one and it's excellent... very simple and effective bout. The spirit of the match was pretty much the same of the previous one, the super famous bout, but this one was slightly better imo, it was more straight to the point and the story was executed better. Takada wasn't so reactive here and he was more confrontational towards Vader, he started the match kicking him and being very offensive, but of course the monster Vader also managed to impose his style with lots of strikes. The rules weren't strictly followed as usual, but the main story was connective and the finish was very well done, with Vader dominating the match and constantly knocking him down, but Takada showed why he's the ace of the company by kicking Vader until he couldn't get up from the 10-count, therefore winning the match by KO - {***3/4}"

[10.0] "Their final match, I marginally prefer their second match the best but this is just wonderful as well. The overwhelming force of Vader against a shoot style expert is such a fascinating puzzle and they both work it so well."

[7.0] "Not quite as great as their second match but still this is a great way to cap off the trilogy. I love how this pulled from both previous matches. Super Vader has extra aggression here and it gets exacerbated by those kicks that Nobuhiko Takada has been laying in this whole rivalry. It causes Vader to bend the rules but also leaves him open to an Arm Bar which he quickly reaches for the rope to break, a call back to the first match. Vader has his own call back to the second match where he attempts a Vader Bomb but Takada has it scouted. It turns into another series of knockdowns and stiff strikes but Takada appears more durable this time around. While I don't think the finish is as exciting as the second bout, watching these matches in quick succession really gives you appreciation for how the story was told over 3 years and just in ring work alone. Fantastic stuff"

[8.0] "[4.25*] One of the greatest "David vs. Goliath" matches ever. Both men play their role so incredibly well. The story told is fascinating, and a great end to their trilogy (which needs way more attention). WillvsWrestling on YouTube has a fantastic series called "WrestleLore", and his latest episode was on this trilogy, and that video is where I discovered these matches. Highly recommending watching that. This match in my opinion is the second-best compared to their second match, but it holds up well nonetheless."

[9.0] "Another great entry in the consistently excellent Vader vs. Takada series. Vader's early strike forces Takada to adjust his strategy: attack quickly and finish fast. But Vader's durability turns Takada into the underdog, and defeating him feels like beating a Resident Evil boss. ****"

[5.0] "A match and a series that would work wonders with probably any other babyface in Takada's position but still works. They start this with a bit of a jumpstart from Vader and Takada responds by kicking Vader so hard he goes over the top rope, bit of a looser style to start things. Beating a dead horse by saying how much Takada doesn't move me and I often find myself rooting for the monster against him but god damn he does nothing to evoke sympathy here, just a total husk of a man in this match especially with his listless facial expressions. Thankfully he can still throw strikes like a motherfucker and Vader is a killer so the big hits look and feel great, just wish it was someone who made the beating feel like something to be worried about and wanting the big comeback."

[9.0] "One of the best "Hero vs. Monster" stories that I have seen in a wrestling ring, as arguably the most underrated wrestling rivalry of the 1990's reaches it's epic conclusion with this memorable trilogy coming to a close."

[8.0] "Awesome match. Takeda going for the leg of Vader, trying to chop down the big man and limit his movements but constantly being beaten down by Vader with some palm strikes. Vader usign his power to throw Takeda around, bullying at times but Takeda was relentless with the stiff kicks and got closer and closer to the win with every comeback. ****"
