[5.0] "Average match, not a bad performance from either of them, but everything was just flat and predictable, the start was slow and the second half wasn't that good to compensate, it never felt that Fuchi had a chance and Tsuruta did not even look that strong"

[9.0] "I was so shocked when I found that Fuchi and Tsuruta only had two singles fights. They allowed themselves a good 15 minutes to put on a great bout. They have respect for each other, but this is the Carnival. Without doing dirty tricks, they went all out even if they're a bit broken down. Tsuruta had his pride hurt when the crowed preferred to chant for Fuchi. That's a little detail, but this was everything. Fuchi did everything to survive, but with some disdain, Tsuruta showed him why he was at the top during more than 20 years while he was « just » at the top of the Junior division. Both lads displayed their very good arsenal and that was pretty cool to witness them doing that. The bitter Tsuruta was so cool back in the day, even if his opponent is just three years younger than him. The final minutes and the finish were pretty great. Really a banger between GOATs. A bout that served also to show how great was Fuchi in his prime."

Like others said it has a great story being told with Jumbo basically bodying his right hand man but Fuchi saying "screw you tall boy". I can't really complain about anything, it ran how it needed to, it told the story it needed to, I guess there could have been more action for my liking but the wrestling was still very good."

[9.0] "I had such a smile on my face watching this. The general vs his lieutenant. It starts of with an obvious air of respect between each other but both get slowly more annoyed. The crowd are really behind Fuchi and as a chant for him gets going Jumbo gives just the most amazing shrug of part dismissal and part anger, such a little thing but in the context of this contest it was brilliant. The final few minutes are when Jumbo finally takes control and Fuchi is doing anything he can to survive. They did not need 20 minutes plus to tell a great story. Loved it ****1/4"
