[8.0] "A different match compared to their first confrontation two months earlier. I liked it just as much. Hiroshi Hase and Keiji Muto were less dominated than their first match. The finish is good and I have the impression that the crowd is more involved. (4*)"

[9.0] "This was an awesome match. This was a rematch from their first match, where Vader and Bigelow first won the IWGP tag team titles. This was about on par with the first match in terms of quality, though I noticed two things that were different. One was that Hiroshi Hase had a bandage on his head going in, and about halfway through the match either did the blade job or reopened a cut. It looked awesome though as he wore the crimson mask, and he sold it well by looking tired and getting beat on. The other thing that was different was they made more of an effort to have great action throughout the match and not as much slow down or rest periods. They even did some nice spots outside with Bigelow. I actually liked this a little better than their first match. ****1/2"

[8.0] "A very brutal and entertaining battle between two valiant, hard-hitting babyfaces and two absolute monsters. Vader and Bam Bam were an incredible gaijin monster duo, and just seeing Bam Bam do some impressive rolls away from Hase to open the match makes it clear how good this is going to get, as he's so damn athletic and agile for his size. They all worked incredibly hard and it led to a bloodied-up Hase dying on the mat, doing everything he could to stay in it against two bigger, meaner adversaries taking every advantage. Just really good, classic stuff, and a textbook reason why all four were so highly regarded in their primes."

[9.0] "Loved this! Hase's performance as a FIP was excellent. Vader was one of the best big men of all time, Bigelow was very good too and seeing them as a team was cool. Their performance here was so good. Really great match ****1/4"

[8.0] "Gotta love the elaborate routine Vader and Bigelow do to set up the double high 5. Hase and Mutoh staying on top of the big guys starting off surprised me a bit. Vader and Bam Bam, particularly the latter, pinballed themselves around for the smaller counterparts. It was something that deviates from the style you would normally see. Seeing the bigger guys on the defensive was really good and just added to the skill of Hase and Mutoh. Vader seeing the chance to get the momentum was spiking Hase in the forehead with a punch was a great transition and bloodied Hase up. Bam Bam had some unique ways of working the cut too. Popped big for the claw hold and the biting. Hase sold all this really well. His performance was so compelling from his ability to get you on his side to his comeback spots. I loved his arm submissions. The technique was just pleasing on the eye. Mutoh was just a sideline character but I won? t put that on him, more about the match being Hase focused. Great tag team match. ****"

[7.0] "Yeah there was just something about this match that didn't click with me. Both teams pretty much took turns with control segments and just did a lot of moves during them to make themselves look good. It isn't a bad idea in theory to put on a good match, but it didn't come off as exciting to watch. Hase bleeding profusely during his FIP segment was good, but I feel it went too long. Good match I would say, but not a classic looking back, ***3/4."

[9.0] "Excellent. Boy could Hase bleed. Vader and Bam Bam were an excellent team. Absolutely excellent. Hase was so great here. This match gave me the thought of if you could have put 1992 Bam Bam Bigelow with 1992 Bobby Eaton you might have the greatest heel team in history. If only. Anyway this really is something you should go out of your way to see. ****1/2."

[6.0] "This is one of those randomly high rated matches from the early 90s that just doesn't hold up well, at least for me. There was nice focus on the size and power of the gaijin team of Vader and Bigelow, but a lot of their strikes looked quite weak and they didn't emphasise their power moves like they should have, resulting in their offences coming off weaker than their images lead on. Mutoh and Hase worked well against this as the underdog team though, and impressed when showing off their strength in being able to execute power moves on their big opposition. I did enjoy Hase's head bandage being ripped off and targeted by the gaijin team, leading to a ridiculous amount of blood covering his face. Hase's various prideful rallying moments and his eventual comeback was pretty good, with him and Mutoh executing some nice moves, although off each others' pace at times. There was some confusion near the end from Vader over who the legal opposing wrestler was, leading to some awkward moments where the ref had to refuse to count a pin. Hase was the star here and really made the match good. Apart from that it was pretty mediocre. If this went the route of Hase and Mutoh staging a successful comeback then this could have been better, but instead it's just two big men dominating most of the match with relatively weak looking moves and then winning, which wasn't too exciting. This had enough good moments to make it alright though. ***1/4"

[10.0] "Thought this was fantastic, Bigelow & Vader make an amazing team and Muto and Hase, especially Hase, fight with 1000% effort to overcome the monsters. Multiple shocking moments and a whole bunch of juice from Hase, this is officially one of my favorite matches of 1992."

[8.0] "I gave this match *** 3/4. This is a good match, that I had at around **** 1/4. However, there are quite a few nonsensical moments that lower the rating for me. This leads to the match flowing not as well as it should have done."
