The crowd was mad for that shit as both men played on the fans' enjoyement. That was just a pure brawl, but man, each folk displayed his own vision of what a brawl is. That's a slugfest, my fellow gentlemen."
[7.0] "After his match against Gresham, Suzuki delivers another good match on his US Tour and I would say that I liked this one more than the bout against Gresham. We got really violent and overall hard-hitting battle here, this was already shown at the beginning with a nice slap exchanges. They had a lot more great exchanges throughout as well. Homicide also looked pretty good in defeat."
[8.0] "So far, this has been my favorite of Suzuki's U.S. matches. I haven't seen all of them yet but I really enjoyed this one. Homicide is always great and Suzuki took him to the limits. Big chops and forearms between these two got my hyped as fuck. MKes me wish I was in the crowd for the Danielson Suzuki match bc being in the crowd for this match made me love it. Thumbs up."
[7.0] "This was enjoyable match. Suzuki and Homicide's personalities meshed so well and the wrestling part of the match was decent. Suzuki did some vicious work on the arm which Homicide sold pretty well. 7/10"
[8.0] "A good match. Their was very good storytelling. Suzuki is awesome for me. The match quality was also awesome. Psychology was good. Overall good match. (****)"
[7.0] "A very good match here, the best match of the show. Homicide and Minoru Suzuki had some very strong exchanges, Suzuki is always good with that type of opponent. The finishing stretch was also very interesting and Suzuki's Sleeper Hold was such a cool spot. ***1/2"
[8.0] "Fun match. Looked like both Suzuki and Homocide had a good time in the ring. Suzuki got his signature offence while Homocide retaliated and tried to break through em. Crowd seemed to be in it. GCW production is still not B grade tho."
[8.0] "A simple but violent and fun strikefest between the two. Match pacing is perfect in that no parts felt stale or dragged on. I think both men really knew how to reengage the crowd and work off the energy."
[6.0] "Decent main event between Suzuki and Homicide but to be honest it's very disappointing to have to say that a match between these two wrestlers was just decent when they were put in a dream setting, with over sixteen minutes of action and in the main event spot. Everything was there for them to deliver but the magic never happened, I never felt any particular chemistry between the two and apart from doing atemis and strikes non-stop for fifteen minutes they didn't do much. I've never been high on Homicide but I still thought this match would be a lot of fun, the fact is that Suzuki's bookings in the United States (in AEW and GCW) are very disappointing recently, his matches with Gresham and Moxley having already failed to deliver a few weeks ago. This match was just solid, but nothing more."
