You'd expect this to be a quick paced high flying affair, but it was mostly mid paced and grounded. Neither man was really working to their strengths, so it leaves the match kind of just...out there. You keep expecting the pace to quicken or to get more aerial offense but it never comes. They still put together a fine match with what they presented, but there was more potential in these two than they showed in this bout."

For whatever reason it was non-title, but D'Lo had some momentum going for him after that win over Triple H and he had a good fast paced match with X-Pac here. He was working with a chest protector after his match with Dan Severn a few months before that and was using it as a weapon, but he sold it well with that spot where he missed the moonsault he attempted and his character work was getting really good as well."

These two brought some short time prestige back to the euro title. This wasn't one of the better in their series. X-Pac takes time to knock Godfather down off the apron and turns into a sky high and gets pinned."

Only thing I'm not a fan of is the stupid protection vest D-Lo uses, which only in some very specific situations have any effect at all. Punch it all you want, but if D-Lo tries a frog splash it's devastating? kay."
