[8.0] "This was a great match. The era of the Smackdown 6 truly was incredible. These guys were having great matches in their sleep and considering the talent involved, that should come as a surprise to no one. Los Guerreros had been not only Chris Benoit and Kurt Angle, but also Edge and Rey Mysterio at Survivor Series to win the WWE Tag Team Championship. This was their first title defense and of course it stole the show. There was some great intensity and energy here. We also saw the dysfunction between Angle and Benoit, something that became common place during their run as a tag team. Here, it actually cost them as Angle had the Ankle Lock on Eddie at the same time that Benoit had the Crippler Crossface on him. As referee Mike Chioda was trying to pull Angle off, he didn't see Eddie tapping out. Later in the finish, Angle tried getting involved, but Chioda was again holding him back, giving Chavo a chance to use of the tag team belts as a weapon on Benoit. This led to Eddie getting the pin as Chavo held Angle back. ****"

[8.0] "I would give it half a point more just for the booking. It's a great match for a weekly show, one of those that would have made a lot in a PPV, and then the storyline in which Angle and Benoit continue stepping on each other's toes is very effective"

[8.0] "Yet another highly enjoyable tag team match on SmackDown, this time with the titles on the line. That dysfunctional team dynamic between Angle and Benoit is so fun, just like Los Guerreros' dirty tricks. Them leaving mid match while Angle and Benoit argue is one of those rare intenses where it works (Eddie is so funny). The ref deciding that the match would not end by count-out is a bit awkward but they delivered after that, so not much to complain about here. ***3/4"

[7.0] "Even with frankly overpowering dissension between the challengers, this has a much clearer babyface - heel dynamic than their prior match. That makes for a good watch, mostly colouring inside the lines until a pretty intricate finishing stretch. Ultimately though, this is mostly a plot device for Angle and Benoit's issue, assisting Los Guerreros' heel presentation in the process. That play call decides the ceiling but as usual, the work here is delightful, with razor sharp action throughout. Very good TV match. ***1/2"

[7.0] "Excellent PPV-quality match. All the wrestlers were formidable and executed solid maneuvers. Kurt Angle and Chris Benoit looked like they were competing against each other to see who was better and that ended up costing them the match. I usually don't like it when a wrestler has to resort to cheating to win the match but this gimmick from Los Guerreros is fantastic, so I'm not too upset that it happened. It was a match with a lot of emotion and chaos in a good way."

[7.0] "Solid tag match between 4/6 from the Smackdown six. These guys have certainly been involved in better matches from this era but this is still a good tag match. Starts off a bit slow as Kurt and Benoit are tag partners that dont get along but once they finally do the match really begins and its just great tag team action and it ends with angle and Benoit again costing themselves with their bad team chemistry and Los Guerreros cheat to win. Fun stuff 3.75/5"

Another brilliant match with these guys as you would expect with the Los Guerreros settling into their creative cheating style that ended up getting them over and Angle and Benoit completely disintegrating. The restart is a bit forced as the TV matches seem to be structured with those although again is Los Guerreros trying to take a shortcut to keep their titles. Fun stuff."

[8.0] "I wish Benoit/Angle lasted longer as a team. They have such a fun dynamic, and all of their matches are usually good. Benoit/Angle are completely owning the Guerreros so they try to take a count-out victory but the ref isn't taking it so they restart it. When we came back from the break the Guerreros worked over Benoit which was good, which leads to a fun hot tag from Angle. The rest of the way is fun back-and-forth action, but ultimately the Guerreros teamwork won them the match, and Angle/Benoit clashing cost them this.****"
