[7.0] "Benoit was making a really good case for a main event push because this has been a really good IC Title run and he has yet another good TV match. Jeff showed his potential as he holds his own through a lot of the exchanges and his miss with the 450 splash looked scary. Benoit brings out a more technical side to him as it stays at a fast pace, all of his offense looked painful and he wins with a good counter to land the Crossface. It had actually been looking for a few weeks that Benoit could turn face, but he squashed that with the aftermath where he suckered in Jeff after appearing to show him respect."
[6.0] "Entertaining match. It's sad that these two never got the chance to have some sort of feud, as Jeff Hardy showed potential as a singles wrestler here. He bumped a lot during this match. Chris Benoit, his offense was always great as he made it look like it hurt. Believe it or not, this was their longest singles match together, and for what it was, it was fun. ***"
[6.0] "I feel like this is the first singles match of Jeff Hardy's where he proves he can become a star. Yes he wasn't as good as he would eventually become but he showed a lot in this match"
[6.0] "Jeff is looking noticeably lighter here and is able to pull off a lot of high flying stuff that he would drop from his moveset not long after. Good work from both, although Jeff is a bit green and botches a fair share of his stuff. They packed a lot into this and made good use of the the limited time they had."
