[9.0] "Great tag match, as you would expect in the heyday of the Smackdown Six. Chavo isn't quite on the same level but he's a solid backup for Eddie, and you get a load of fun stuff from the other three."

If I'm correct, they probably had Benoit get beat up a little more than usual so they could capitalize on a hot tag from Angle to play off the crowd. Either way, this one was fun to watch. I'd say that the action was worth a 7, but the story of Benoit and Angle's competitive drive being slightly higher than their hatred for one another was told very well here."

[8.0] "Not quite as good (although very slightly) as their semi-finals match on SmackDown the week prior, but still a pretty damn good match. I love the dynamic of that dysfunctional team of Angle and Benoit, the UK crowd showing love to Angle is awesome, the action is solid, there's some good drama in the final stretch. Good stuffs. ***3/4"

[8.0] "Very good match with good heat. The crowd only wants to see Kurt Angle in the ring, so we play on that. The in-ring is also very good, at the same time, given the competitors, it's what we could expect. (4*)"

[7.0] "Solid stuff from some of the smackdown six. Basically a televised house show so you do get that house show level quality but even then when all 4 guys are so damn talented that even house show quality is still better than most. Solid stuff 3.5/5"

[7.0] "With 20 minutes to play with, this almost has no choice but to be good, even in a virtual house show environment. The time allows them to really stretch each segment of the match, with an extended shine transitioning to tons of heat on Benoit. That works a treat, as Angle is over huge in Manchester, ultimately making an explosive hot tag. The finish has room to swing big also, including a strong false finish for the Guerreros. Good match, even if in a more relaxed fashion than this talent pool's norm. ***1/2"

[7.0] "Both teams are fantastic and I think that they would have pulled off an even better match on a bigger show. Angle with Benoit still had the interesting dynamic between them of hating each other but still being a phenomenal team, while Los Guerreros showed tons of potential as a cowardly heel team. Kurt was the main star of the bout as the UK crowd for some reason treated him like the second coming of Jesus Christ and he worked it well, while Benoit knew his place and didn't try to overshadow him. A really fun Tag Team Match."

[6.0] "Very derivative of their much better Smackdown match, but stretched out over twice the length and missing most of the fire that made the first encounter great. But this happened a lot on the glorified house shows that WWE tried to pass off as PPVs in the UK around this time."
Ruthless Attitude wrote on 01.07.2023:
[9.0] "An outstanding tag team match that would have been worthy of any major show and the UK fans going crazy for Angle made the match special with him getting the hot tag and Benoit being the one isolated. These guys always had great chemistry together and the constant bickering between the enemy Champions was also fun and told a great story in the match. A hidden gem that probably isn't seen by many people today."

[8.0] "These two teams just work so well together, also this crowd really loves Kurt Angle for some reason. It's a basic tag match formula worked to perfection, team working as babyfaces get some shine early on, the Guerrero's get heat on Benoit during the middle with great cutoffs. Angle makes a hot tag and the action the rest of the way is fast paced back and forth action with great near falls. They won after some nice teamwork from Benoit and Angle.****"

[8.0] "A pretty great hidden gem. This was a great match in front of a hot crowd that was absolutely in love with Angle for whatever reason. Interesting seeing Angle and Benoit working together as a team as always, and the Guerreros played great heels. After a back and forth match, Angle survives getting hit with a belt and hits Eddie with the Angle Slam for the win. Great stuff. ****"
