Just not as memorable. The final spot before the finish was awesome regardless. It is an exciting, well performed match, but not one that really leaves a lasting impression in my opinion."

It's actually kind of crazy to see WWE openly saying 'concussion' during a match here, considering they generally would steer clear of that these days. I thought the finishing stretch and the finish itself to be especially good. The 2nd best match these two guys had, with the #1 being the one on Smackdown."

Edge was a great foil for him here, selling everything well without ever looking dumb for falling for it. This was in-ring psychology and storytelling without having to be slow and relying on restholds."

Eddie really finds that extra gear and I loved how he removes the turnbuckle pad without the referee spotting it so you don't see a lull in the action and how it also plays into the finish of the match. Edge also looks good and sells the offense and the head injury well. Eddie was always a great heel, but he takes it to another level with his mannerisms and his facial expressions to the point where he is over with the fans and the sunset flip finish looked amazing."

I really liked his creative submission on Edge's neck, too. The finish was perfect and I appreciated that it didn't involve anybody needing to hit their finisher. Great match."

Great feud and great matches between 2 greats This match gets a 4/5"

Edge is not a bad wrestler but Eddie is on a completely different level and much better than Edge. The match started well, i thought it got a bit boring during the middle but towards the end, they picked up the pace a bit and i really liked the way it ended with a powerbomb from the top corner."

[8.0] "Eddie was great in this his character work, facial expressions and work over Edge was great. Edge was coming off a concussion heding into this match so Eddie targeted it throughout this match and as stated earlier his work was strong, Edge had nice moments of acting dazed due to this. I loved the sunset flip powerbomb ending because it played into what Eddie worked on throughout this the neck/head. Good match slightly better than the SummerSlam match***3/4"

They did a good job building up the match, and I liked the exposed turnbuckle bit at the end. The ladder war on SD would soon follow this and would way surpass the two PPV bouts these two had. [***3/4]"

[7.0] "Really fun little match right here. Not a classic by any means, but a good back and forth matchup with an invested crowd that flowed fairly well. I found Eddie to be the MVP here, his character work, offence and selling were great, especially when he sold that punch from Edge as though it knocked him out. That was funny as hell lol. All in all a pretty great match with a good ending that had Eddie bashing Edge's head off the turnbuckle and hitting him with a sunset flip powerbomb off the top rope. This is a hidden gem. ***1/2"
