Raven vs. Rhyno

[7.0] "Great match for the level of hardcore, Rhyno and Raven using more bizarre stuff that wasn't in the previous Hardcore matches like that shopping cart and the crowd seems they liked it. 7/10 [****1/4]"

[7.0] "[3.5 Stars] It's definitely a fun action-packed spotfest, but everything is rushed to the point where it becomes funny. (***, 5)."

[6.0] "A satisfying match for the hardcore championship. Some creative spots but nothing jaw-dropping. Surprised most of the action stayed in the ring given the stipulation."

[4.0] "[1.75*] Average hard-core match that you'd get from the wwf in that era, I wasn't into it really..nevertheless I appreciate the effort but the hard-core matches in that era is so messy (not in a good way), there were some moments here for sure, but overall it didn't do much for me and that's expected."

[7.0] "Pretty fun hardcore match and they didn't even venture backstage. the crowd seemed to enjoy it and it wasn't terrible for me, either. I wish Raven would have worked out in WWE, but WCW was on their way to water down the product, so he got kind of forgotten in the long run."

[9.0] "This was an incredible hoot. Raven in WWF didn't pan out for many reasons but at least for a short period he was having some really fun hardcore matches. Rhino did great as well, that Gore into the shopping cart was spectacular."

[7.0] "This is honestly just about as good as it gets in terms of hardcore matches in the attitude era. A fun match with a highlight of Rhyno going into the shopping cart. An enjoyable matchup and better than most hardcore matches at the time."

[8.0] "Great hardcore match that had a lot of clever spots. Raven seemingly played the babyface which was wild to see in WWE."

[6.0] "From around 1999-2002, Hardcore matches were such a staple, but so much was done with them so frequently that a lot of them end up feeling the same. This particular match was shockingly both stereotypical and very creative at the same time. They are laying the weapon shots in, but a lot of that is par for the course for Hardcore matches. The shopping cart becoming a key feature is what makes this match so good. The cart was a gimmick of Raven's that he took to every match around this time, but it never really got much use. Here, they took that established gimmick and used it in a good variety of ways. It instantly made the match feel creative and gets you invested. I probably wouldn't call this bout a Hardcore title classic but it is a damn good match with a lot of creativity for a stipulation that was very oversaturated."

[8.0] "Really fun Hardcore Title match that had great no nonsense action where they was just smacking each other in the face with signs. There was a lot of really creative spots and Rhyno was like a bull in a china shop where he misses the gore and winds up inside a shopping cart. It was probably the high point for Raven as his two best WWF matches happened on back to back PPV's."

[8.0] "Where else are you going to see Rhyno gore a fucking shopping cart? This was the product of two of the greatest minds for this type of wrestling. It's fast, it's fun, it creates a pleasant moment for the viewer. And you don't really see matches like this in WWE anymore, which is shame. Because this was an entertaining bullfight."

[8.0] "This was sick! Raven vs Big Show vs Kane is probably the GOAT hardcore title match but I could easily see this being in the top 5. At a time where the hardcore title was more of a comedy prop, these two put on a more serious hardcore match and it ruled. Raven was also way more over as a face than I remembered here. I wish they'd done more with him."

[5.0] "These two come from ECW, so at least they're not afraid to take bumps and because of that it looks somewhat realistic. Unlike other Hardcore matches this one actually has some wrestling basics with the crowd having their favourite and not popping only for big bumps. Also they don't build any dumb furniture structures so that's nice, but the finish came a little out of nowhere."

[8.0] "This was fucking awesome. A hardcore sprint just nonstop from as soon as the bell rings easily the best Wwf hardcore match I can think of. Two Ecw originals who were used to being around or competing in these type of matches so its really no surprise that this was really good. A hot Chicago crowd certainly helped this match too. 4/5"

[5.0] "Standard hardcore match from this era with nonstop head shots and nothing else. Only noteworthy moment was the shopping cart gore."

[8.0] "This is a really fun hardcore match with a really cool spot in the shopping cart it was pretty fun and enjoyable. ****"

[9.0] "Up there with the Mania X-7 triple threat as far as best WWF hardcore matches. Rhyno and Raven pulled out a lot of creative spots here and used a great variety of weapons."

[8.0] "Two hardcore Gods going at it here. Easily the best match from a pure workrate perspective for the Hardcore Title, and these two hold nothing back. Go figure, two of the greatest ECW World champions having a great hardcore match."

[6.0] "My favorite WWF hardcore title match of all time! Probably Raven's best WWF PPV match! Just action packed all around!"

[7.0] "This was a very fast paced hardcore match full of non stop action. Rhyno was hooked very strongly in this, they pulled off a couple of creative spots with the usual weapon smashing to make this a very enjoyable match.***1/2"

[7.0] "10/10 for what it was. Definitely a top 5 match for the Hardcore Title. Raven and Rhynos styles worked together well and they were able to come up with some creative spots."

[7.0] "Fun, fast-paced, and creative. Everything you could ask for in a short hardcore brawl. Surprised this didn't influence a more common use of shopping carts in wrestling."

"Both Raven and Rhyno are tough as nails. Nice hardcore match they were wailing on each other with those road signs. I like the spot in the corner with Rhyno and that shopping cart. Monster way to end it as well. 7/10"

[7.0] "Really fun hardcore style match. It was action packed. There were great looking spots throughout, and Rhyno was booked really strong all the way through. Overall, a nice little enjoyable match to check out if you have at least ten minutes to spare. [***1/4]"

[7.0] "Really nice little brawl here. Some fun spots and lots of weapon-based offense, this ended up being a thoroughly entertaining match. The finish was great too, although it ended before it could become anything more special. ***1/2"

[7.0] "7. 15/10 : What a brawl ! Attitude era weapon-based match at its finest. Crazy fun stuff from the two ECW alumni here. It didn't go far in anyway to earn a higher rating but some of the spots in the match were truly exceptional and creative."

[7.0] "Crazy and funny hardcore match, there is no violence here, just a chaotic brawl which delivers something enjoyable. Both Rhyno and Raven know what they are doing there. Also the final part is impressive. Too bad it lasts less than 10 minutes. ***1/4"

[5.0] "Fine match, better than most hardcore title bouts so better than I expected really but still nothing great **3/4"

[5.0] "Nothing particularly special about this match, though there were a few creative spots. I can't even say this would be the best match on an average Raw."
