Akira Taue, Jumbo Tsuruta & Yoshinari Ogawa vs. Mitsuharu Misawa, Toshiaki Kawada & Tsuyoshi Kikuchi

[5.0] "This was fine, but it was mostly just a rehash of all the various interactions that these pairings have had before. The story was basically Kikuchi getting destroyed, but neither Kawada nor Misawa ever got a memorable hot tag to play off of Kikuchi's struggle, which was very disappointing. They were both still good, but definitely not as vicious as they've been before. Jumbo's leg selling was good, but it didn't even play too heavily into the overall match story. Kawada and Taue continued their heated rivalry to make for another more interesting part of the match. Ultimately all 6 men were solid, even if this was one of their more forgettable matches, so there were still some good moments, but ultimately there wasn't enough interesting content to justify the long length. **3/4"

[6.0] "This was a good, solid six-man tag. The finishing sequence wasn't as long or as complicated as it usually is, apparently down to Kikuchi's memory not being what it once was."

[7.0] "Great heel performances by Tsuruta and Taue, but the match slightly disappoints in the first half."

[9.0] "Given the wrestlers in this match, I expected a bit more but nonetheless a really fun match. It was cool seeing some bad blood between Kawada and Taue prior to them teaming up later on in the 90's. Tsuruta looked very strong in this match."
