[8.0] "Eagles isn't quite as tricksy as Johnny Kidd or as slick as Zack Sabre Jr but she's more charming than either and can push Quack around in a way those older or smaller men couldn't. She also just meshes better with the man than those guys ever did, being less beaten down than the 60 year old Kidd and less reliant on speedy striking than Zack was. Their friendly grappling grows less and less friendly by the minute, especially as they both go for signature moves and holds. It might not leap off the page the way some fans want their high end wrestling to, but I like how bite-sized and self-contained this thing is. The simple parameters of a friendly competition between two well-meaning but serious competitors means this never dips anywhere close to embarrassing theatrics or aimless kickouts spammed en masse. Instead this is tight and straightforward, delivering well-executed action, some great selling, and probably the single best tornado DDT I've ever seen. I'm way more into that than two people screaming in each other s faces and hitting their finisher five times in a row."

[8.0] "Matches between technical wrestlers are usually about 'small little details' and unique transitions/sequences/cut-offs/moments, and while this match had plenty of them, but really the story of this match was that Eagles was a better wrestler than Quackenbush on that day."

[9.0] "Whatever your views on Mike Quackenbush now, you can't dismiss his technical prowess, and this was a dream technical matchup here against Madison Eagles, who had made several CHIKARA appearances over the years, but had never faced Quack. A superb display of escapology and counter holds."
