[6.0] "For me, it was somewhere on the level of their previous All In match. I don't consider that match to be anything special or important, BUT it was quite competent and working, just like this match, but no matter how paradoxical it was, the same factor of not the greatest expressiveness plays a negative role here. The girls perfectly wove hardcore into their usual brawling, nothing fundamental changed during the match and the structure, but I just saw these subjects, these moments more than once. It may not be as similar to other hardcore AEW-style matches, but one way or another it causes a persistent feeling of deja vu. They are not creative, but at the same time they are not Rina Yamashita or Risa Sera, they are not ready to bleed heavily and put their whole soul into it. I understand them, I'm just saying that hardcore, on the other hand, doesn't take me for its physical component, so in the end, this addition to their previous match simply doesn't give them significant bonuses in my eyes."
[9.0] "A nice hardcore match, the kind that builds up the intensity. There are people within AEW (the bloody Mark Briscoe being the main culprit here) who seem to think that, right off the bat, you need a hardcore match to be violent and bloody, whereas I like the hardcore/street fights to build up to the nasty spots. This was a really nice build; of course there are some silly moments in there, with the planted barbed wire board just sitting there being extremely obvious, but there were some fun creative moments as well. One spot near the end I want to call out was Divine Dominion going to both grab one of the brawling birds, and you think it's going to be one of those spots where the team gets some offence in on both women, but Jaime Hayter grabs a kendo stick and just attacks Megan Bayne, pushing her out of the ring, leaving Lena Kross and Alex Winsor in the ring together. Just a nice juxtaposition of what I was expecting at a slower-paced moment in the match. ****1/2"
[8.0] "Great plunder match, really fun and nice to see these two teams get more to do. Just wish there was an actual tag division so they could face other teams."
[8.0] "That match was good, but the ending clearly left a sour taste on everyone's mouth. See, AEW matches always carry the urge for everyone else to deliver great matches, and when we add stipulation, we expect violence. I saw a woman destroy another one using high heels. I already saw a guy drink the blood from another one. The ceiling is high. I don't think the girls were able to get into that point of violence, they went clearly into a more methodical soft action which wasn't bad, they did it well. Windsor which is by far the worst wrestler here performed quite well here in a style completelly antagonic to her own. Hayter good as always and I really like the chemistry Lena and Megan share, I wish to see more about her both further. Pretty good match still."
[8.0] "[4*] Awesome street fight match. I liked this match much more than their All In match. The Women's tag division need more matches like this to legitimize the division. It should've been legitimized with Divine Dominion's reign, but they just kept getting booked into squash matches. Sick match from off 4 women and sick blade job from Megan."
[9.0] "This is the match that finally legitimizes the AEW Women's Tag Championships. The Babes of Wrath are fun and super over, but the Divine Dominion squash matches which didn't do much for me personally. Now we have a brutal, down to the wire, impactful match that makes these belts feel worth all the trouble. I hope they keep it up with more women's tag teams stepping up to try and beat the Birds,"
[7.0] "Sure, the girls really give it their all--they take huge risks, and sometimes they end up with cuts. But to me, it's just a bit too much: chair shot after chair shot, then of course barbed wire in all sorts of variations has to come into play, and at the end, they even pull out the stylistic device of thumbtacks. It's typical AEW--you never know when enough is enough. I like the women's dedication, and their willingness to endure pain is remarkable, but the narrative itself is so over the top to me that at some point it becomes unaesthetic."
[9.0] "I'm not a fan of street fights at all, but this match with the birds and the Divine Dominion was so good. You can feel that Jamie is going back into a more dominant technical form, but I still find Alex Windsor to be more powerful with her striking game. Megan and Lena looked more in control for a solid portion of the match... they have a great ability of making their job look easy, but by the end of it they were banged up pretty good. Match told a great story and this feud absolutely works... probably the best female tag feud to ever happen honestly. I never underestimated Bayne for a second and it's within good reason to say that she had the strongest overall performance in this match."
[9.0] "this was a very entertaining match where nothing really seemed awkward at all. these teams used every brutal item without any weird pauses and some good wrestling in between."
[5.0] "This match felt like it was produced by Megan Bayne and her experience with garbage matches at GCW. With the Borden injury earlier in the evening, you'd think they would know better and tone it down, but of course they didn't. This match was not needed for a card that went way too long."
[6.0] "I did not realise how well recieved this match was. I was never taken away with the spots in my memory other than Hayter landing on the tacks by accident at the end. Maybe i will have to give this a rewatch one day to see if i was the one who was wrong."
[8.0] "Absolutely overdelivered. My MOTN at this point too. They started off hot and had a couple of creative and brutal spots, but more importantly, this felt like a fight, all the women sold the struggle pretty well and the finish came at the right point. Minor negatives involve some poorly timed and executed spots but those were rare. 4*."
[7.0] "Really really cool match. No one in this match is exactly great as a tag team and the birds are descent as singles. But real crazy spots real intense and just a basic little fun hardcore style match. (***3/4)"
[9.0] "Couple of clunky sequences detracting from one of the best no-DQ women's matches in AEW in about a year. Everybody looked tough, and if you didn't look so tough, little bit of blood looks tough on you. Ended pretty fast after the thumbtacks, but the not-quite-Hayterade with the chain (plus Jamie selling the pile of thumbtacks she planted her butt on) makes that a pretty reasonable end. Megan caught up in the barbed wire after the match looked pretty brutal in the building, less so on the replay."
[7.0] "A procession of vicious plunder work occasionally punctuated by overly choreographed sequences which detracted from the violence. Like pretty much everything in AEW, this went too long and lacked focus, but it did deliver the thrills & spills ***1/2"
[9.0] "I didn't expect this match to be so good; it's way better than their All In encounter. There were some predictable uses of props (usually set up by one duo but used by the other), and the ending may be a bit anticlimactic, but it was as intense as it could get. I don't know if it will elevate the women's tag division, but it's certainly moving in the right direction."
[6.0] "A match like this becomes a blur of spots. It's hard to look at any particular moment and feel like it was part of a particular storytelling beat or segment, outside of a few moments where you'd get one woman stuck against two with her partner down and out. This match, like so many of these matches, devolved into a string of weapon spots during which there was little in between apart from walking around and picking up said weapons. "Jamie Hayter has to fight alone from underneath against two big women with weapons while her partner struggles to get back into the fight" is a story. "Lena Kross has a bin put over her head and then people are hit with weapons and then someone gets slammed on a barbed wire chair and then someone gets slammed on drawing pins" is not a story, it's a list."
[8.0] "Brutal fucking match, good lord! What a gritty, attitude-filled war between the awesome Divine Dominion and the stiff-as-hell Brawling Birds. A really great extreme rules match packed with weapon spots and raw brutality, but backed up by great sequences and solid in-ring storytelling rather than just senseless violence. I had a blast with it. The only thing that slightly took me out of the match was the setup on a few spots, at times, it was a bit too obvious that someone was just standing around waiting for their partner to get into position to execute the tandem move. Aside from that minor timing issue, everything else delivered in a big way. Awesome work from both teams!"
[9.0] "First time I've enjoyed a Megan Bayne match. She sold really well all through out the match. Everyone comes out of this match looking good. I really enjoyed how the went from spot to spot. No time was wasted in between waiting around."
[9.0] "The sleeper match of this card. As someone who is not a massive fan of the Brawling Birds, they delivered hard here, particually Alex who I have found a bit dull historically. Streetfights have been very hit or miss in 2026 across the various promotions, but this one delivered on it's stipulation. Megan continues to look great, and Lena is quitely one of the best workers on the women's roster right now."
[8.0] "As someone who is not particularly a fan of either tag team, this match was actually really good. The brutality was on point with the good use of the stipulation, and the pacing never wavered. The ending was also very brutal and genuinely had me shocked."
[6.0] "This was fun at times but suffers from the same issues a lot of tag streetfights have is that it's too overly choreographed from spot to spot. Maybe on a rewatch i'll give it a 7 as I did appreciate the effort from all 4 wrestlers and it didn't go the route of the unneccesary large blade job just for a picture."
[7.0] "[3.5*] I have mixed feelings about this match. On one hand, I loved the spots the wrestlers used, and I enjoyed the blood and the intensity of the violence among the four of them. However, a few things bothered me here. The first is that this match--like many modern deathmatches--felt overly choreographed. Of course, we are talking about pro wrestling, but the ideal behind a deathmatch (or street fight) is to simulate a real fight as closely as possible; let's face it, a clearly pre-determined sequence of moves detracts a bit from that feeling. The match is far from bad--I personally enjoyed several moments and was entertained right to the end--but I don't think I can set aside my views on modern deathmatches when analyzing it."
[9.0] "Oh my god this match was insane, brawling birds & divine dominion needed to have this match at all-in instead but better late than never. So far this is my match of the night as I write this. All 4 ladies took some nasty bumps in this match & absolutely got their moneys worth tonight. Amazing plunder match"
[9.0] "Brawling Birds vs Divine Dominion absolutely rocked the hell out of this tag team street fight. This was one of the best matches of the night and felt insane from bell to bell. All 4 women in this match got their licks in with an insane amount of weapons and plunder being used and multiple different moments of them getting busted open. Megan Bayne has strong experiences with street fights originating in GCW and Hayter/Windsor have really adapted the AEW style of street fight. The craziest moment in this match was the finish where Bayne plants Hayter through the barbed wire board. Every moment in this match was done really well and they found a perfectly happy medium between absolute wreckage and good wrestling. Rating: ****1/2"
[8.0] "Another excellent extreme brawl in the women's division. I admire how these women are down to put their body on the line this much. Some companies put forward women for their look but I'm glad to say AEW is definitely not one of them. Divine Dominion and The Brawling Birds bring prestige to this young title."
[8.0] "[4. 00*] Really awesome fight with a wonderful performance by Jamie Hayter, but all four women did great respectfully. I loved the barbed wire spot and also how this did not feel very synchronized as most tag team matches. I do think the finish could've been executed better and the offense without the weapons was pretty repetitive."
[6.0] "[3 Stars] Ya know, I have really not cared for this storyline. Just no interest. So, to put on a hardcore match and to still barely hold my attention, that tells ya something about this rivalry for me."
[3.0] "3.5 - I hate to say it, but Jamie Hayter actively takes away from all the matches she's in. She seems to think chaotic and frantic is the only way to be, but she rushed, mishit, and downright botched so many of her spots. It just looks awful, with three people trying to put on a show and a whirling dervish trying to portray 'crazy'. Overall, Brawling Birds don't have a collective identity I can get behind, and that's probably because Jamie Hayter hasn't had good chemistry with a wrestler in what feels like years."
[5.0] "Nothing we haven't seen before. A lot of the match felt disjointed and like they weren't really hitting each other very hard. I'm pretty sure it was Megan that got pinned but I can't even remember because I got taken out of the finish because Hayter fell on way more of the thumbtacks than her opponent. Maybe I'm being hypercritical but this didn't do it for me."
[5.0] "More than you would get from a TV match, but not by much. Hayter is probably the best worker and the most over of the four but god bless her she doesn't do enough to anchor this match and she didn't look good hitting the finish in this match or later in the show."
[6.0] "This was good but not all that special. The Birds just haven't hit the way I'd have hoped and rather than things feeling chaotic and violent there were just a lot of parts that felt disjointed and oddly paced (the bar fight really stands out on this front)."
[8.0] "Super fun car crash match, did exactly what it should have. Some super cool spots and love to see a good blade run in a match. Definitely better than their All In match but that match was good too. Hopefully the Womens Tag Belts will actually mean something soon because the teams are just so slim"
[9.0] "Maybe it was because I did not have very high expectations for this match, but these four women had a remarkable match. Megan Bayne needs a major push resulting in a world title reign - she is so good."
[8.0] "What a great women tag match. A few slip ups due to the nature of the match type, but regardless these women really brought their A-games. So many fun gruesome spots to be had. They kept the crowd roaring the entire time and kept bringing even more crazier weapons than the last. A great way to end their feud and a nice addition to the AEW Women's Tag Championship lineage."
[8.0] "[4.0] A few mistakes here and there, a few botches as well (Lena Kross getting barely if any thumbtacks in her back hurts the finish) but overall I found this to be really enjoyable and a good showing by all women here. Didn't take much to get them started and the match flew with a lot of cool spots, fun interactions with a mix of brutality in there. There's something about these stipulations that brings the best out the ladies and one can only hope the Brawling Birds get more of this in the future, but for now, it's a great closing match to the feud."
[7.0] "A well-executed stipulation for an intense and well-paced match. The chemistry could be improved at times, however. It's curious to see what will happen to Divine Dominion after this second loss. In-ring quality: 2.5/5. Stakes: 1.5/2. Justification: 1/1. Card placement: 1/1. Suspense: 1/1. Bonus/penalty: None. Total: 7/10. Match viewed on MyAEW."
[8.0] "Oh my god this match was insane, brawling birds & divine dominion needed to have this match at all-in instead but better late than never. So far this is my match of the night as I write this. All 4 ladies took some nasty bumps in this match & absolutely got their moneys worth tonight. Amazing plunder match"
[6.0] "Wasn't as crazy for this as some others are but this was certainly a solid street fight. Some cool plunder spots in this and some solid bladejobs from Megan and Alex respectively but this did have a few clunky moments and i did think that a few of the spots were a bit predictable. ***1/4"
[9.0] "Hard-hitting and fun match. I have no idea about the backstory but the match was fire. High intensity, lots of back-and-forth, sneaky counters of nowhere, great use of the weapons without being overly death-matchy. Match of the night up to this point. Nice touch: McGuinness repeated wordplays on "two girls, one ..." :)"
[9.0] "Great hardcore spots with just as great wrestling in between. There's a bit of messiness to it that only makes it better. I could watch these teams fight forever."
[9.0] "Vastly superior to their All In match. As someone who went to Wembly, Their match was the only one on the main show that didn't really have the crowd invested. I think they knew it because they went full on here. Hayter has been one of AEW's most underutilized talents over the last few years to the point where her booking has been poor but when she is allowed to she is so good. Windsor has been a solid hand, she rarely blows you away but this match is easily her best outing in AEW so far. She took the mean bumps. Bayne struggles with promos but she is undeniable a great hoss lady and Lena Kross has really impressed me since she came in. Looks great. Great talker and good in the ring. Everyone took the mean bumps here. It slowly morphed from a usual standard plunder match into a AEW women's hardcore match with blood. Barb wire and thumbtacks. Great stuff"
[9.0] "Fuck yeah man we die for shit like this. Imagine my shock an AEW women's street fight delivers once again truly is one of the most reliable matches TK can put on a show. I think this was made even better as for the first time since Willow and Stat here in 2024 a street fight had the ring was filled with hoopers. All 4 women showed the fuck out as you would expect and showed why they could all stake a claim to a future world title run. Some of the spots in this were crazy. The powerbomb through the table, Windsor taking a chair thrown at her head. Then towards the end the DVD through the barbed wire and Lena eating 2 birds one stone with a chain into the tacks. Both blade jobs in this match were great and my god did Megan look so cool after the match. She was my stand out i do think she has to be the women to take the belt off Mercedes everything she does is just so fucking good. Also Hayter turning her ass into a pin cushion for the finish was pretty fucking cool. Honestly i am such a big fan of all four but even i was expecting a high 7 at most but they went out there and balled out hard locked in their B&G places for another year if you ask me. Just please get all 4 women out of this unbelievably thin division before they have to lock up with SOS or Harley again. (****1/2)"
[9.0] "Let's start with the fact that, for me, the champions are and will remain Divine Dominion. I genuinely think they are on a completely different level compared to the rest of the division. That said, they couldn't hold the titles forever, and I have to admit that the BBs are doing a respectable job. I didn't have particularly high expectations, because unfortunately the AEW women's mid-card can be a bit hit or miss, but this was definitely very good. The right amount of violence, and now I'd love to see a proper cage match to close out a great feud, perhaps alongside another change in champions. We really need Alex and Jamie in the TBS title picture."
[6.0] "I thought this was fun and had a few really awesome spots (and blood is always a bonus), but by the end I kinda lost interest with how long they went and how all over the place the match's structure felt. Fun to look at, but not something that I really felt amazed by or will stick with me. Easily better than their Wembley match though."
[9.0] "Women's hardcore matches in AEW, especially tags, ALWAYS deliver. This was no exception but it got that bump from being on PPV. They went full ECW with a lot of spots here, lots of Sabu & Sandman DNA in the first half. Windsor takes an absolute beating, runs the blade, and welcomes more which was awesome. Divine Dominion look willing to kill the Birds to win the belts here, pulling out more and more hidden weapons to just inflict a ton of pain. I think tacks are overused in AEW at this point but this match justified their use extremely well in the finish. Also, to be 100% honest, Jamie Hayter with Bayne's blood on her crop top, tacks stuck in her ass, and somehow perfect hairdo looked incredible post-match. ****1/4"
[9.0] "An absolutely brutal street fight and another reminder of how consistently AEW's women deliver in this stipulation.Windsor, Hayter, Kross and Bayne threw themselves into everything, with barbed wire, thumbtacks and heavy weapon spots making the match feel genuinely violent rather than decorative. The intensity never really dropped, and all four came out of it looking tougher. One of the strongest women's matches AEW has produced this year."
