[8.0] "Rina is a star and she's not even 20 its truly unfair how talented she is. She may be the star of the match, but Konami is just as important giving Rina something personal to overcome. The history between them adds to the story of the match. A very good crowd. Nothing fancy about this one, just a very good match. 4 stars."
[8.0] "I had high expectations to see what these girls could do since they are practically student and teacher. I loved the match, but I think it lacked something, which is understandable given they had been playing matches recently."
[7.0] "****1/4 A very good match--the best of the event--though it felt a step below their Wonder title bout from earlier in the year. They displayed great chemistry and flow in a clean contest free of cheating; it was simply a display of aggressive honor between teammates. The match featured excellent sequences and intensity, with a great pace that built steadily. The action escalated as Konami targeted Rina's arm early on, only for Rina to capitalize on Konami's subsequent attempts. Had the match carried more stakes and featured better selling of the arm damage by Rina in the closing stages, it might have rivaled their January encounter. It had a great finish, with Konami constantly evading Rina's Tiger Lily and even kicking out of a second Gory Bomb, only to leave herself vulnerable to a missile dropkick and the match-ending Tiger Lily."
[9.0] "Best match of an electric show - Stardom is on fire with this GP. They got this spot on, with Rina playing little sister to Konami's big bad bully and having to fight tooth and nail to keep her head above water, never mind sustain any advantage. The one count off of the buzzsaw kick was so well executed I actually popped ****1/4"
[10.0] "Absolute banger, their white belt match was fantastic so I knew this one would be amazing too. Such a nice and emotional finish with Rina getting the win with the Tiger Lily. Rina is just getting better and better each match she wrestles. Konami was great too, always a great technical wrestler who can make a lot of people look good but these two just have amazing chemistry."
[9.0] "Rina throw out alle the fury she have to defeat the veteran. It's similar to another match we say in the night but amplied. i hope tha japan gods blessed Konami"
[6.0] "This was a cool main event, but I'm sure I would have appreciated it more if I was familiar with these two's story with the late Hana Kimura, of which I am not. Strictly from an in-ring perspective, these two had strong chemistry and a lot of their offense looked really good. This wasn't really made for me, but I did enjoy it somewhat and admire the action they put forth. Maika/Iida was more my jam."
[8.0] "As someone who isn't a fan of the cliches of a H.A.T.E. match this was really good. Maybe the chair spot and the bending of the rules works really well in this context as it's iron sharpens iron between faction members but with a clear fan favorite. Rina's like the top young star in joshi in my eyes, only 19 and already leaps and bounds above a lot of wrestlers 10 years her senior. Konami I go back and forth with, a performer who is very dependant on what kind of chemistry she has with her opponent. Safe to say that these two work really well together. Rina is able to make everything feel personal because of her viciousness but this it feels personal because of how defiant she was in the face of Konami's viciousness. The kicks, the elbows, the knees everything like it was delivered with the intention of finishing each other off. I think the ending didn't feel like a big enough climax but as a whole the match is pretty consistent hard hitting action"
[9.0] "Easily better than their January match, I mean I didn't expect to enjoy this as much as I did. The chemistry was good here and in-ring work was pretty solid. Rina being an amazing wrestler at just freakin 19 amazes me, she had a bright future in wrestler, Konami is good, but at times just doesn't do it for me, but she did have a good showing here. The roundhouse kick from Konami was very stiff sounding, and the fact Rina kicked out of freaking one made me jump."
[8.0] "A strong closing match that gets the show back on track after the previous disappointment. The action is engaging and the competitors work well together, providing a satisfying final stretch and leaving the tournament day on a positive note."
[10.0] "the very best match of the 5star this year and it's not even close. the story being told with multiple references and callbacks to hana kimura made this match so much more emotional. rina, despite being a heel, was such a pure babyface in this with the crowd totally on her side. konami was a great heel, trying to crush rina's dreams and determination. she didn't want a repeat of 7 years ago and she was desperate to not let it happen, but rina's love for hana was stronger. it was simply beautiful. beautiful strikes, beautiful spots, beautiful psychology. a moty contender for me easily."
[10.0] "A match that has to be in for MOTY contention even when people like Saree and Hashimoto have been at the very top of their game. Rina is truly a ridiculous talent and she has so much babyface fire here. It's a lot more methodical to begin with than the breakneck January encounter between Rina and Konami but the occasion and the emotion warrants it. Credit to Walker Stuart for the commentary building up the Hana Kimura legacy because it made Rina's desperate scratching and clawing her way through Konami's relentless attacks so much more powerful. We are so spoiled to get this and the G1 final within a week"
[9.0] "Rina is going to the semi final of 5STAR GP 2026 against Maika. I love the match between two members of the same faction, and even if Konami and Rina are part of HATE, a heel stable, they have a mutual respect and love for each other, and it's so beautiful to see. The best match for me to end this show at Korakuen Hall for Stardom's 5STAR GP. And with a perfect result for me, this show was awesome from start to the end. The celebration at the end between Rina and Konami was so emotional with all of the references from the past."
[10.0] "MATCH OF THE YEAR! I knew this match would be phenomenal but quite frankly i wasn't expecting THAT. I can't remember the last time i was that excited for a wrestling match and that invested while watching, i was literally jumping all over the place and screaming my lungs out for both. The in-ring action was spectacular to say the very least but man the drama and the story they told was just on ANOTHER LEVEL and that finishing stretch was just BEYOND EVERYTHING. The Tiger Lily being the finishing move here got me insanely emotional, Hana would have been SO PROUD of how far these two has come. I need to say this but Rina HAS TO win this years 5STAR, did you heard the crowd? and her being only 19 years old and THAT good? i'm sorry but Rina is THE future of pro wrestling, she is the next big thing and what a better way than having her win the GP and go straight for the Red belt or even the White cause of her sisterhood with Hanan - opportunities are endless to make her the biggest star. Obviously i have to praise Konami as well cause she's absolutely FANTASTIC as well and hopefully she will win the big one too one day. *****"
[10.0] "I mean I kinda have to give it the highest rating possible, when I realized Rina was trying to do Hana Kimura's finisher to Konami it's like the match revealed itself as a memorial I got emotional and teared up. Another amazing Rina performance in a year full of them, Konami was a great wall Rina had to scale after losing to her earlier in the year in a white belt defense. I'm at a loss for words, it was full of great striking from the two of them, great near falls, paced perfectly. An amazing 5 Star GP match, a match of the year, probably Rina's best match in her career."
[9.0] "This was absolutely outstanding. I fucking love the HATE vs HATE matchups, the only downside to this one being I'd quite like for them both to win, two of my absolute standouts from this tournament. The back and forth here was brilliantly executed, and everything felt so tense right from the get go. They started off with your typical HATE stuff, thrown into chairs, Konami being a big old bully and working Rina's arm, but honestly they moved past it pretty quickly and just let them start trying to kill each other. After the first 5 or 10 minutes or so, the entire match felt like the closing stretch as they exchanged finishers and big moves to try to put each other away, and it just kept ramping up. Those sleeper holds from Konami looked lethal, I seriously thought Konami was tapping to the Hydrangea and that must have been like 10 minutes before the actual finish, They were laying in every big move in their arsenal, I'm not quite sure how Rina's head is still attached to her body with some of the kicks she took, Konami refused to go down to the double knees, the kickout from the Hydrangea Bomb into the Gory Bomb was insane, I was convinced that was it done, even by the standards of finishers that felt huge. Rina picks up the win with a package piledriver (The Tiger Lily) where... it feels like there is some important lore there that I don't have, but they still made it feel incredibly important. Awesome to see Konami and Rina's respect for each other after the match too, genuinely quite touching. A brilliant match to top off a brilliant show, and I am so excited to see the end of this tournament with a fantastic final 4."
[9.0] "Very good main event to crown a show full of great wrestling. The crowd was hot and Rina keeps little by little approaching the top of the company."
[8.0] "A top match to end this day, the revenge of the match for the White belt and it was once again a great match, this time won by Rina, as I expected."
[9.0] "2 career-long stable mates, running back one of the best stardom matches of the year for a chance to make the 5Star semi's. But that trip to the semis isn't the most important thing for Rina, she just needs to be Konami, no matter what. Konami picks apart Rina, but Rina keeps firing back. Shes a phenomenal babyface, and the crowd is fully behind her. That babyface performance is matched by the fantastic bully performance from Konami. Rina has hit the package piledriver before, but she's never been able to do the tiger lilly in full succession, that is until now. She finally hits what she's been aiming for so many times, and she wins the match. That moment coming against Konami is just perfect."
