[8.0] "Those lads are really great to this thing called wrestling. Usually a few years ago, AZM got constantly called as a Joshi Ospreay due to her quick explosive style that had the negative effects of giving less attention to details. We can't say it about her anymore. She is someone that yes, got faster than already was and still manages to work incredible wrestling matches with it, but she is getting smarter. I don't know if her knowledge grow up, but right here with a wrestling that works with fucking anyone, delivered. For what I saw so far, match of the night."

There was interesting chemistry and untapped potential; despite their differing styles, they clicked well and could easily have a better match. It featured interesting sequences and intensity, along with a good, frenetic pace--it was practically non-stop action--but there was no time for it to escalate into anything more than a sprint. The finish was interesting, with Saya putting AZM away with two tremendous Brainbusters that looked dangerous."

[6.0] "This was the AZM match number 175...something. I have no idea what sort of superior plan by her people are talking about as she's being doing the handshake trick since she's... 13? And all the rest was pretty standard stuff with really fast chaotic offence, no selling and a bit of hand attacks without consistency. Iida tried to work somehow with this and her firm roll-up block on the first second was probably my favorite moment of the match. But at the end of the day, Saya doesn't fit high-speed as she wasn't able to show any real impact of her attacks in the match like this. I only raise the rating because of the cool result."

I love AZM and this was a greta match, and this was the best Saya match I've watched, she looked amazing her and her selling was beautiful."

[8.0] "This was just incredible. One thing I've loved about Taro Okada's ownership is that he's always willing to give the spotlight to someone who wouldn't really see it otherwise. Saya Iida's singles output wasn't really one of her most notable features, especially when she was still tagging regularly with Hanan. This GP has really highlighted just how much of an incredible singles wrestler she can be, and I really hope it leads to a title reign further down the line for her. The match itself was incredible, mainly because everyone expected AZM to win this one, so Iida picking up the win was very surprising, adding more depth to the tournament. There was some great high-impact offence from Iida, which paired nicely with AZM's high-speed arsenal. ****1/4"

[8.0] "Saya Iida is one of my favorite wrestler of the year, male or female, from every promotion. Her abilities to connect with the crowd is unbelivable, she is wonderful in the ring, and she is such a good babyface, she used her short height has a weapon, and she has some huge strikes. AZM was also awesome, i'm a bit sad that she has lost this match, but it was against Saya Iida, so it's not a big deal for me honestly."

[9.0] "The type of match that makes you appreciate wrestling. These two put on hell of a match, very energetic with so much going on at really high speed pace. AZM losing actually surprised me as i fully expected her to come out victorious but Saya winning got me so happy! ****, 25"

[9.0] "Brilliant match. The result has really shook up everything I expected because I kinda had AZM going all the way and winning this, but at the same time this also always felt like it could go either way. It was a really compelling affair from the get go, and the style they went with here really helped that. Right from the off AZM goes for a rollup off of the handshake, but can't take Iida down, but quickly gets back in to the match by outpacing her. Despite this, they do a really good job of making it clear they are getting advantages off the back of their own strengths, not the other person's weakness. AZM still gets her moment to have big power moves, and Saya still gets to outpace AZM on occasion. Saya feels strong, and AZM feels fast, rather than AZM feeling weak and Saya feeling slow, it was really well executed and lead to a brilliant back and forth. The near falls and submission attmepts in the closing stretch were very well done, all of them felt incredibly convincing, and the kickouts were excellent, and the execution of all of the big power moves were excellent - Saya in particular look like she almost took AZM's head off. Saya is able to land a double brainbuster to finally secure the win. I really wanted AZM to go all the way in this, so I am a bit sad to see her drop out at this stage, but the result is undoubtedly exciting and adds a lot of spice to the tournament, and I'm definitely not upset to see Saya advance, she is absolutely excellent. Just wish it was at somebody elses expense."
