[4.0] "The only match on the undercard that I wanted to talk about, and not because it stood out in any way or was particularly good. Was Shun Skywalker's debut really necessary here, and should it have gone down this way? I know who Shun was, I know who he's become, and I can even vaguely understand what's going on with him now. After all, he's been in the hospital too often, and we had information that he might have a chronic injury that he hasn't fully healed yet. In any case, I got a modern Shun Skywalker who did his minimum, even taking into account that he's now laughing more than wrestling, but what will the audience that hasn't seen him say? And I'll tell you, people were bewildered and asked me if this really was the same Shun Skywalker I'd told them about. This match did practically nothing to advance the feud with Konosuke, although I can hold any tag-team match on this show accountable for the lack of interest in promoting their own feuds. Shun himself was very limited, and although he fit well into HoT, this stable suits him, but even in his debut, HoT's moments overshadowed Shun's moments. I'm just upset that the star's debut and Shun is, after all, a star, was handled like this, and now I'm just worried about Skywalker's future in this company. The match itself, like all the others on this show, is just the same kind of match you can see on any Road to *insert name*."
[4.0] "Barely tolerable House of Torture slop saved from being even worse thanks to Shun Skywalker's debut. Even my excitement for a Skywalker/Takeshita match is tempered because we all know how it's going to go."
[5.0] "Only watched it because it was Skywalker's debut in New Japan and I've never really seen him before. Probably wasn't the best choice to pick this match as my first exposure to him. It was a typical H.O.T match, and he didn't really do anything in it"
[4.0] "(2, 25 Stars) I'm sick of that awful "House of Torture, " and even the part that was just a tiny bit interesting--Shun Skywalker's debut--was lame."
[6.0] "Good character work/introduction for Shun Skywalker. He works well here with his various antics he works in between bigger spots. Narita as HoT leader still is kinda rough, he isn't interesting with his heel work like Shun is where you really despise him as he laughs and points at people he has outwitted."
[5.0] "Just basic match, I watched it mostly to see Shun Skywalker in New Japan, he didn't do much in this match, but he taked a huge win on the veteran Satoshi Kojima, curious about the future of it."
[4.0] "Shun Skywalker's NJPW debut. Really unfortunate that it's bogged down in house of torture slop. Impossible to get a tell on what he's gonna be going forward. The babyfaces did what they could."
[6.0] "A solid match that provided a slight drop in intensity without becoming a disappointment. The action remained enjoyable and the pacing was consistent, but it lacked the standout sequences of the two previous bouts. Still, it successfully maintained the card's overall momentum."
[4.0] "It's a HoT multi-man tag. It goes about as one could expect. Sure, it looks like Takeshita vs Shun is the next big matchup they're planning on going for but I'd love Taichi vs Shun to be a matchup in the future. Mm. Taichi and SANADA will do for the time being. **1/4."
