The bulk of this is made up of some very cool interactions between Yuya and Oiwa while Hartley and Taichi sort of act like background characters, but do also have some fun interactions of their own. This was an undercard tag so they weren't gonna go all out here but this was still enjoyable for what it was. ***"

Taichi showed a wonderful performance by a desperate hero and, probably for the first time in the show, truly breathed life into the audience. He's just damn good at it, and the sumo wrestling segment was damn funny. Ryohei was still able to show some exciting moments in conjunction with Taichi, but Uemura was criminally few here and he was an extremely faded part of the match, although still reliable. Honestly, it's an unexpectedly good and emotional match on the undercard."

This was just pure good vibes and strong strikes to prepare for the upper half of the card, the crowd got really on board by the end of this one. Taichi got the win over Jackson with a big Black Mephisto, a very fun match."

[7.0] "The first good match of the night. Yuya and Oiwa kicked this one off. Yuya mostly had Oiwa's number before both men tagged out. The match was solid throughout but felt elevated whenever Yuya and Oiwa were in there together. Oiwa began to go for the left knee. Jackson and Taichi took turns to save their respective partners from difficult submission positions. After a strong style exchange, Taichi took Hartley down with a lariat. The younger members run in for a brief exhibition till the legal elders resumed, this time with Hartley taking Taichi down. Taichi won out a sumo style exchange with a hip toss and then ended it with a black mephisto. This match was well worked and very well thought out. 3.5*"
