[7.0] "Both Cogar and Bear were completely done by this point and had very little left on the tank. Bronson's back was an absolute mess here. One of the weaker matches on the card but still bloody and brutal."

[4.0] "The right result; Bronson has embraced GCW's violence head-on and absolutely deserved the tournament win. I think this evening really just cemented one thing for me: I don't enjoy death match wrestling. Violent pro-wrestling is good when the violence adds to the wrestling; this evening has just been a question of how over-the-top violent we can get without someone saying 'I don't want to do die'. Such an incredibly small amount of wrestling, logical flow, resistance to being attacked, etc. The entire concept of a light-tube fence is hilariously goofy more than it is 'scary'; I really want to see the appeal, but I don't. Atticus Cogar vs. Fuego Del Sol is probably my GCW MOTY, and that was bloody whilst still feeling like serious, suspenseful wrestling; I think this really sums up my feelings. This considered, I'll probably be brought back for Atticus vs. Bear; thank goodness we're not getting Tremont vs. Bear as a consequence of this."

[7.0] "A solid final. Missing any particularly memorable moments but the right decision was made. Bear has burst onto the deathmatch scene faster than anyone in a long time and you'd be stupid to risk his momentum by giving Otis the win here. ***1/2."
