[8.0] "I thought that it was a good match. It was a very nice opener. Eric Young got a great heel reaction from the crowd throughout the match and the crowd supported Cedric Alexander. The wrestling was good and clean with some nice spots. I enjoyed the match."

[5.0] "I don't care for either guy, but the crowd was hot and there were some nice moves. EY attempts a lovely moonsault at one point. Decent enough match."

[5.0] "Young is pretty limited at this point, and most of his work in this one was based on basic heel schtick and goofing around. The work was solid enough otherwise."

[6.0] "Two veterans having a fun opening match. Something I think AEW doesn't do often enough. Not everything needs to be extra all the time. Sometimes the build to the main event is part of the fun."
