[6.0] "A little messy at times but there was plenty in here to enjoy. The exploder suplex from Yuji Nagata on Hiroshi Tanahashi from the top rope was a high point. SINGLES RECORD: Hiroshi Tanahashi 11-7"
[8.0] "Really good match that, I am giving a bump because it feels nice. Hiroshi Tanahashi this year feels celebritory and nice. Nagata is still very good too. Spark coming through with both too."
[7.0] "This ended up being much better than it thought it would be. Both guys seemed to know their limitations going into the match knowing their limitations and were able to work off them. It was pretty as you would expect there were certainly some good moment especially the ending sequence with the headbutt from Tanahashi and the high fly flow to get the win. The crowd was fairly good and were very behind Nagata and both guys clearly worked hard to give the fans a decent match in the main event with this being their last time facing each other."
[6.0] "It's amazing these two can still put on a pretty solid match like this given their age and shape they're in. A bit of a slower match obviously, but super hard hitting and enjoyable to watch."
[7.0] "both guys are borderline broken and stuck together with tape, so the quickness of the bout was never going to be something special. regardless, this was a good current-day Tana match and I wasn't left wanting that much more."
[7.0] "I had very tempered expectations because both guys are not in their prime. However, they pulled off a pretty decent match and we even got a rare glimpse of heel Tana which was a treat."
[6.0] "I had no clue what to expect from this, two men undoubtedly past their prime, but they gave it their all to make this match special in its own way. This was a slow build as you might expect, but there were some really impressive moments and tense stretches. Nagata was finished by a nasty headbutt, followed by a High Fly Attack and a High Fly Flow to secure the win for Tanahashi on his road to retirement. A messy and sloppy match at points but it kind of worked, and made something which felt very real. Worth a watch as a curio at least, probably the last time these two will ever face off in a singles match."
[6.0] "They went hard in this main event to make up for the fact they can only go slow, and largely succeeded. Backdrops to the Ace's forehead and a shoot headbutt that gave them both bloody welts evinced a wince from me, but it certainly made for a memorable fight. I don't support that on a meta level, but I haven't docked any points off for the original Ganso Bomb, so neither shall I do it here."
