[9.0] "An amazing cage match (get it? get it? ) between these two teams. Hot action, great work for all involved. Hiroshi Tanahashi getting the pinfall was the best possible way this match could've ended."
[6.0] "Not the worst five star match however it is an absolute average match. To be fair it is not my kind of a match but it was boring regardless. There is absolutely nothing memorable here. I love Tanahashi and was sad to see him there"
[9.0] "Very PWG-style match. Lot of creative spots, even at the beginning. Darbys chained Code Red was a cool spot, and the gummy bear gimmick was legitimately funny. Darbys involuntary piercing was just horrendous, I almost couldn't watch. The Young Bucks and the Golden Lovers had some of their signature spots, and a good chunk of the match facing off against one another, a BTE and a Golden Trigger in the match. Poor Tana's knees were still so weak here. They had to convince him mid match to not jump off the ladder, and his Slingblades were rough. Tana actually gets the win with a solid High Fly Flow considering his condition. Good storyline advancement as well on many fronts, and great spots throughout. Castagnoli deserves a special mention- great work, and his added muscle actually made some of those diving spots possible. Fun match to watch, highly recommend"
[7.0] "Matches like these really don't do much for me. Way too messy and unorganised and too much going on. Blood and big spots and a lot of fun still but no need to be 32 minutes and there's too much time with nothing happening. Still amazing performers made it good just not as high on it like everyone else."
[8.0] "What an Blast this was, So much violence and the Dream Team of The Golden Lovers, Darby, Ospreay & Tanahashi was so much fun, shout out the Bucks, The Death Riders & Gabe as Well. Really Fun Match, Bravo. (4.25*)"
[9.0] "Incredibly fun match to close out the show. One of the only matches to really feel like it belongs on this show. Even then, though, the only non-AEW guys involved were Tanahashi and Kidd. In any case, this just kept on going with great action throughout. Loved that Tanahashi got the pin, also."
[8.0] "[4.0*] Fantastic match, this was by far the MOTN and the only MOTYC from the whole show. The funny thing is, I was expecting it to be a disaster. Tons of injured or not physically 100% participants and the Cage stuff that I thought was going to be the normal one with 11 bodies stuck there. Thankfully, it was miles better than I expected and I really didn't imagine that this would be so entertaining and fun. All these brutal matches with guys like the Bucks and Kenny are never going to be full serious mode, so I understand those who may be upset with the comedy. However, these guys are pretty fucking great at being funny LMAO. Every single comedy bit was awesome, from the jobber entrance to the gummies instead of the thumbtacks. It's hard to talk about these matches because they have tons of great moments involving multiple wrestlers, but one thing that stuck with me was that ear-work from Mox on Darby with the fork. Holy shit, that was tremendous. Probably my favorite segment of the whole match. This was gnarly, disgusting and fucking awesome. Darby was also involved in other fantastic spots, like the Gorilla Press from Claudio to the Cage or the biggest bump of the night where him and Gabe Kidd jumped from the top of the cage to a pile of 4 tables. Hell yeah. The Bucks were also MVP contenders, they didn't have signature spots but they carried the workrate from start to finish. I think this is a case where they planned the acts of each participant perfecly. They could't have booked Ibushi and (specially) Tana for example, who couldn't even walk properly but did tons of fun things and even got the win for his team with the High Fly Flow. We had blood, we had Wheeler Yuta jumping from the cage through the announcers table without breaking it (ouch), we had a proper Mox x Omega moment that I profoundly missed in Anarchy In the Arena, we had Will doing crazy things before leaving... yeah, the whole thing absolutely rocked. Post-match was fucking fantastic too, the Death Riders feel like a real threat with real heat. I guess they're doing Mox vs Ospreay at All In next year and I can't wait for that!"
[9.0] "This was insanely chaotic, you could barely get a breath in as the match progressed. Even the cage couldn't contain this match (not that it was a bad thing). A nice blend of comedic and serious spots works well as several storylines became intertwined. It's a great way to end the night with spot after spot after spot leading to Tanahashi scoring the pin, a fitting end to his last UK match. Everybody was able to contribute in their own way to ensure the success of this match."
[9.0] "Excellent match with big spots, a tremendous crowd going crazy for everything, and every participant getting a chance to shine. I originally had this at a 10 just because it was so exciting to watch live, but after thinking about it, I had to knock it down to a 9 for the ridiculously stupid gummy bear spots. Comedy spots are fine in comedy matches, but this isn't a comedy match, so it felt completely out of place and lessened the intensity of the bout."
[9.0] "I think it lacked a bit of the narrative that made AINTA so good back at DoN, and there wasn't that super crazy spot I expected, but this was still a fantastic car crash of a match that showed off everyone, and gave Tanahashi a great exhibition of something a bit different. Incredible post-match angle, and Jon Moxley continues to be my front runner for WotY."
[2.0] "Man..... this match is a mess. I'll go through everyone here and what they did and didn't bring to the match, but talking about my thoughts on the match overall, it's just really too long and too uninteresting for long periods of time. The worst offender in this match is Gabe Kidd, he seriously brings nothing to the death rider and comes off more phony than the phony (positive) Wheeler Yuta. The most I get from him is confusing him and Moxley at times. Ospreay, Ibushi and the Bucks fall into the same category of good at points, but you wouldn't really trust them to control the match for long periods of time or else it starts to get really eh. The best out of the three were for sure the Bucks, hell, I even liked the gummy bear spot. Castagnoli, Moxley and Omega were solid hands in this match, by far adding to this match than taking from it. For sure, the MVP of this was Darby, the fork spot was disgusting and I loved it. Tana is excluded from all of this because he's in a league of his own for being better than alot of people here with no knees. Now, despite me really liking some stuff from this match, I really can't bring myself to think highly of this as a whole, because there's alot of bad too. Kidd, Ospreay, Ibushi and to some extent the Bucks and Omega were really unable to make the inbetween of this match more interesting. The best parts of this were seeing Castagnoli, Mox, Darby and Tana really suck you into this with the little things they did, as a huge heel or a babyface fighting under. Along with a very long run time, this really brings down the match for me. Really the most outstanding stuff here was the Darby/Mox stuff, Darby bumping in general and Tana."
[9.0] "Such a fun and exciting battle. There's a great mix of comedy, talent, and brutality, and it's paced so well and is so clearly well-thought-out. An amazing close to such a great PPV. ****3/4"
[10.0] "(9.6) One of the most well rounded battles I have seen, crazy violent but also fantastic wrestling too, the comedy spots were fun as well. I don't even know what to say about this match it was just fantastic. The Kidd vs Omega moments were fantastic and honestly Gabe as a whole was probably the guy to watch here. Darby ripping his earring out and then Mox switching up his inital plan to instead taraget the ear was great and one of the most gruesome things I have seen. There was plenty of action for every type of wrestling fan and was some of the most fun I have had watching a match. I will admit that seeing this in person bumped it up slightly for me but it didn't stop this from being great. 100% the best match I have seen live. It would be rude to not mention Ospreay and Tana, Will especially was incredible and the OWA Hidden blade combo was crazy, Tana getting the pin was perfect and was one of my favourite wrestling moments ever. I am not ashamed to admit i was close to crying during Wills entrance. MOTY contender for sure."
[6.0] "This match didnt do anything for me. After seeing moxley get forked in person at all in im pretty much desensitized to utensils being used in wrestling matches. Its crazy how the gummy bear spot was getting more talked about than darby allins ear getting mangled. Also want to add that was pretty sad to see tanahashi lumped in with all that, i know the card was stacked but maybe a 1v1 or tag match wouldve been a better send off for him in the UK."
[8.0] "***** a gem of a match, I loved it so much, it was the best of the event by far and probably top 10 of the year on my MOTYs list, the entrances were excellent, mainly Ospreay's which was very emotional and the Death Riders' which looked epic, very great chemistry, there were very slight botches but they were more due to slips or Tana's timing in her sequences, excellent sequences, the combinations that the faces did were amazing, the constant coordination of the Golden Lovers, Tana's Sling Blade assisted by Omega, Ospreay's reversals, Kidd and Omega bringing their rivalry to the surface with small winks at certain times, the Hidden Blade combined with the V-Trigger, and the heels were excellent, Claudio felt like a beast to beat using his size and strength to constantly try to kill Darby, Moxley leading, receiving and making spots, the Bucks adding the comedic touch, but then with a lot of storytelling when they had their great exchange with the Golden Lovers, Kidd feeling aggressive, hitting his rivals and applying excellent piledrivers, the spots were epic, the best were the assassination attempts towards Darby, the launch towards the cage, then the fork in the ear looking brutal and even how Darby sold it from that moment on reducing his offense too much and falling quickly after any attack, and his launch with Kidd towards the tables was excellent, surprisingly all this happened in less time than I thought, it lasted 32 minutes and I think this helped a lot, because it was a constant rhythm without stopping done in an excellent way, and the end after Mox was out of the cage, Darby and Kidd fell towards the tables being out of action, the faces took advantage of the moment and got rid of Claudio, then they applied the Golden Trigger to one of the Bucks and positioned him to empower Ospreay in a Hidden Blade to the other of the Bucks, followed by a lethal sequence of One Winged Angel + Hidden Blade and closed with a flourish with a High Fly Flow from Tanahashi that would make the pin and give the victory to his team, I consider this fight one of the best in the history of AEW, and the best of this style of violent multi-man, it seems to me superior to all the Blood and Guts, Anarchy In The Arenas and the Stadium Stampedes"
[9.0] "A tier below Anarchy in the Arena this year, and way better than any blood-and-guts match, so expect another one next year for sure. This match was wild, but the carnage was not as severe as I thought, as some competitors, like Ibushi and Tanahashi, didn't take any big bumps. Mox and Claudio were mostly passive, especially considering the damage they had inflicted in the past. No dull moments, so that is definitely good."
[10.0] "Too many crazy spots here to even get into but the jelly beans got over with me when I was just starting to get tired of the young bucks jobber gimmick. Great seeing the golden elite reunite, Gabe & Darby table spot, Ospreay's very careful moonsault off the cage & Tanahashi being stopped from going up the ladder. Darby was built for matches like this as well with the ear spot + being taped to the chair & of course Tanahashi getting the pin was the perfect way to end a thoroughly entertaining match. I'm reluctant to do it but this really felt like a 5* match."
[10.0] "A really phenomenal and chaotic spectacle between both teams with absolutely spectacular action, spots and psychology between everyone involved both inside and outside the cage, everyone played their part incredibly, especially the favourite Ospreay, Tanahashi scoring the pin played perfectly with his retirement tour, and the crowd was ballistic for everything."
[9.0] "Mayhem + insane star power are two great first ingredients for this kind of stipulation. Many spots were cool and everyone shined. The intro clip for Ospreay's entrance was just sheer goosebumps. It was also a good way to give Tanahashi a farewell in England. Overall, great fight and mayhem."
[8.0] "The sheer star power here is wild, four of the best wrestlers of the past 15 years plus a stacked supporting cast. Great to see Darby back after his Everest climb, and Tanahashi, while far from his prime, still has huge aura. Ospreay being framed as the best in the world feels deserved, even over Omega at this stage. Ibushi looked good. Gabe Kidd fits perfectly with Mox's crew, while Claudio and the Bucks were more uneven, Matt Jackson especially came off goofy. The match itself was chaos: huge spots, wild dives and a lot happening at once. The momentum dipped in places, but Darby's and Kidd's dive and Tanahashi getting the fall gave the match heart. Not perfect, but definitely memorable. Chaotic spectacle with flaws, but impossible not to enjoy with this much talent in one ring."
[9.0] "Just an absolutely insane match, as it was always going to be with a lineup like that. It's completely ridiculous that this is the last match Tanahashi is ever going to wrestle in the UK, and that he in fact did something this wild, though saying that, they did a very good job protecting him and I didn't catch him taking any truly outrageous bumps, nor should he at this point. Instead, everyone else went buck wild, and pretty much everyone looked like ridiculous killers at one point or another. I also majorly popped for the gummy bears spot, I won't lie, and I am not ashamed at all. A perfect capstone to a very fun PPV."
"Good match, but not near the level as the anarchy in the arena a few months ago. Liked seeing Tanahashi get the fall, some cool spots as well here, especially from the Bucks and Claudio. Darby is a sick man. My biggest gripe: I was fuming when Mox basically no sold the one-winged angel, was stood up about 6 seconds after it and half way up the cage in 15. ****1/2"
[10.0] "Seriously a perfect match. Absolutely hilarious at times, with the gummy bears and Tanahashi spots. I love the concept of Tanahashi's first big move in the match being into gummy bears, FULLY oversold by whichever Jackson it was. This feels like perfect irony considering how much discussion there was going in about Tana in a violent match. Even with the comedy, however, this match goes to some really for-the-sickos places which are all sold perfectly. Not a single man is slacking here. Couldn't think of anything else I would've wanted from this match, and the Tanahashi finish is fucking PERFECTION. Flawless match; so fun to see in person. Bonus points for Golden Lovers reunion. 11/10."
[9.0] "Absolute chaos and I loved every minute of it. Everyone here is putting their bodies on the line and I'm amazed at what some of these guys could do considering their injury history."
[9.0] "An exceptional match, but it was logical given all the participants. Ospreay had a special entrance. The Young Bucks thought they had their music, but it quickly cut out. As memorable moments, we had Moxley's fork, Ospreay's jump, Darby who was handcuffed to Moxley, the gummy bears. If you're sensitive, don't watch it. The ending is a bit stupid, though. They make you believe that the faces don't know how to get on the cage, but several wrestlers did it in the match, and even Marina did it at the same time."
[9.0] "An exceptional 5v5 that justifies its main event spot despite the lack of long-term stakes. Almost every moment of the fight is memorable, whether for its violence, its comedy, or especially its breathless pace, where the impressive moves flowed one after another. Kidd and Ibushi were a little more discreet, but nothing alarming, and Tanahashi did what he could do best in this match given his limitations. A match that gets people talking and will remain a highlight of AEW's 2025 season. In-ring quality: 3.75/4. Stakes: 2/2. Justification: 1/1. Place on the card: 1/1. Suspense: 0.75/1. Bonuses/penalties: none. Total: 8.75/10. Match seen on-site and then on Fite TV."
[6.0] "A very difficult match to rate, because it had a healthy dose of necessary violence (mostly provided by Jon Moxley and Darby Allin), but this dragged at points, most of the people involved weren't given much to do, and the Young Bucks "comedy" spots were woefully out of place in what was intended to be a violent, serious deathmatch with scores being settled. The gummy bear spot was beyond cringe. Prelim level comedy being injected into a match like this is just totally tone deaf."
[10.0] "10/10 for the gummy bears, maybe too brutal for many, but it was needed for the storytelling. Darby's spot was art, he landed right on top of Kidd, so it's safe to say he got the best of it. Tanahashi had a fun time with many BIG wrestling names, good way to end it."
[9.0] "Would be lying if I didn't say this was fun, because this was the most fun I had watching a match in quite a bit. I am also feeling the cage fatigue. There has been so many high-profile cage matches recently, that it's starting to feel like ladder matches in the sense, that there are so many of them. Most of them are quite good, but the idea of the stipulation becomes diminished due to overexposure. Taking that out of the equation, everyone in the match had a funny or insane spot that will be fondly remembered, and it was well worked and plotted out for the amount of individuals in the match. MVP easily goes to Darby in my eyes, that guy is the soul of this company, if Hangman is the heart. If this is Ospreay's last match for a bit, it was a hell of a sendoff. Hardcore action to go along with genuine storyline progression? Can't complain too much. ****3/4"
[9.0] "A fun match with a huge starpower. Will Ospreay was the MVP from the babyfaces's side and the overall MVP as well. Young Bucks were the MVP from the heels side. Tanahashi secured a sweet win for his team"
[6.0] "Even though I don't like the build to how we got there I do like the way The Young Bucks get humiliated here with their entrance. I'm not sure what to think about the whole Will Ospreay injury promo. It felt more like a storyline than reality, which is fine in itself, it's just that's it's not really believable. We're supposed to believe he's so injured that even his career in in jeopardy but the reason he can do this match is because it's unsanctioned. We all know it's still an AEW ppv with AEW contracted wrestlers so this phony way of trying to create emotion just doesn't sit right with me. The announcers tell the same story of Kenny Omega. He can do this match because he doesn't need to be medically cleared. Than there's Tanahashi who might technically be medically cleared but probably shouldn't be. I know he's a legend in his home country and I have seen some, not much, of his work when he was in good shape. Now though, it's sad. He looks like a cripple old man, even though he's not that old. He moves like one as well. He can't really move so other wrestlers have to go up to him and bump for the weakest looking offence I have ever seen. If you love Tanahashi in his prime than how can you not be sad seeing this? Luckily everyone else is on point. The match itself was fun, though brought down significantly by Tanahashi and the whole build getting to this match. I know why they put this match last but the previous match should always have been the main event."
[9.0] "Loved the cage for this, it felt more like the dog pound cage from NJPW. So it was lower and wider. Meaning they could go outside the ring and it didn't ruin the crowds view. Really fun match, some crazy spots, loved the gummy bears bit too. Tanahashi getting his final win in the UK, Ospreay in front of his home crowd, the O2 singing Elevated. Loved it"
[8.0] "Extremely fun match, I didn't watch the whole event, only some selected matches, but for sure that was the MOTN, a well structured easy to watch hardcore cage match, and it was just a good vibe, well, at least before the crazy ending where the Death Riders started to ambush Ospreay lol. The entrances were a spectacle, and Will Ospreay even received a special entrance, he will go out on a neck surgery after this match, and that's why it's unsanctioned, AEW doesn't take responsibility for anything that happens here, and those kind of matches are always interesting to watch, because you can expect a lot of crazy things going on. It wasn't a frenetic cage match with spot after spot, unlike other legendary matches similar to this, it was actually kinda paused, and with psychology. The heels started the match dominating, that gummy bear spot was super fun and Moxley's reaction was priceless. The bad guys were dominating the match like a true horror movie, sad to see all the heroes falling, and Tanahashi was the last hope, and his 1v5 moment there was phenomenal. Moxley sticking the fork into Darby's nose was the best moment of the match and a horrifying spot, super awesome, and we had other fun moments as well, like Darby and Ospreay smashing the cage, and Ospreay jumping off the top of the cage. After a crazy bunch os sequences, the babyfaces regained control, and Tanahashi performed the high fly flow to win the match. Great stuff, the match haven't tried too hard, and had a cool amount of hardcore stuff to make it work - {****}"
[10.0] "The most fun I've had watching a wrestling match since Fletcher/Ospreay earlier this year. A brutal, hilarious match with all men firing on all cylinders. That Hidden Blade that Ospreay hit was one my of my favorite Hidden Blades that he has ever hit! Get well soon Billy Goat!"
[8.0] "Very good match fast paced match but too many repetitive moves some of the selling were pretty bad aew thrive on gimmick match related cage but it did not match that expectations."
[10.0] "This match was pretty much everything that I hoped for, and it was one of the best live experiences I have ever had at a wrestling show. 10 mentalists, with almost half of them held together by hopes and prayers, went out there and fucked each other up. Just from the entrances, you knew this was going to be amazing i was almost in tears during the package for Will's entrance with Alex speaking then the roof almost came off the arena when Will was standing atop the cage, and I was losing my voice. All of the faces got amazing Crowd reactions and The Death riders and the bucks got booed out the building which was fucking amazing. The match itself was pure Carnage in the best way possible, but it also had some amazing sequences within it as well. The gummy bear spots might be one of the best things I have seen in the ring, and that stretch having a face off between the Golden lovers and the Bucks was fucking amazing. You also had other face-offs with big history like Will/Gabe and both Darby/Mox and Mox/Tana. We all knew going into this it was going to be Will's last match for a while, and he fucking showed out the Spots with him and the Bucks were incredible as was him vs Gabe, and him moonsaulting off the cage was peak. Darby Allin is the biggest psycho in wrestling first Claudio military press throwing him into the cage and then spot with Mox ripping his ear to shreds with a fork is one of the Grimmest things i have ever seen in wrestling but i love it (the pearl clutching in the IWC is funny as fuck as well) also Darby and Gabe going through the table off the cage was amazing. Hiroshi Tanahashi, the man you are, was great in this match. He pulled out his best moves and sold for most of the match the spot where he wanted to go up the ladder, and Will and Kota talked him down. It was very funny that those two were the voices of reason. I feel like it was one of those matches where I would reach the character limit if I wrote about everything I liked. Kenny looked great in this match with the same gritty intensity he had at Wrestle Dynasty, and seeing him and Kota teaming brought a tear to my eye. As normal, the Bucks were great as they can laugh at themselves and then go in the ring and put on a great show. Gabe and Claudio were both great in this match as they just beat the shit out of anything that moved. The finish was amazing as Matt ate a Golden lovers trigger, then a Hidden one winged angle (Ospreay landing like a super hero was so cool), and then in a moment that I will happily say brought a tear to my eye, Tanahashi hit the High fly flow for the 3. The post-match angle was great and furthered everyone fucking hatred for the death riders as they are fucking wrestling fascists at this point. Also, shout out to Kota for trying to run full pelt at the cage to get in, only to get folded like a deck chair and then try to punch the door down (he's such a muppet, but I love him). Overall, what a way to close out the show this match had everything you could have hoped for: great wrestling, drama, violence, comedy, and high emotions all rolled into one, aided by a red-hot crowd to deliver another amazing AEW main event (still yet to have a bad UK main event). All I want to say is Mox vs Darby at All Out is going to be the closest thing to two men torturing each other mainstream wrestling has ever gotten, and I am so excited for it. All 10 men in this match fucking showed out, and it was truly godly. Finally, I am grateful that I got to see Tanahashi for probably the only time in my life, and I am itching for the return of my goat Will Ospreay already. (*****)"
[8.0] "Very good lights out cage match. Not great or an all-timer, but a good way to send the crowd home happy (well, not the post-match Ospreay part, but you know what I mean). Like many of the matches on the card, this barely had any non-AEW talent: only Kidd and Tanahashi out of the 10 participants are from other promotions. Speaking of Tanahashi, it's both a good thing that this is his last UK match (on his retirement tour), and that there were 9 other men to focus on here because he cannot move at all. I've seen more functional knees in a nursing home. The Bucks were great, Ospreay was as well, Claudio launching Darby out of the ring and into the cage was a highlight, so was Darby/Kidd and the tables, and there were too many good spots and moments in the 32+ minutes to remember. I'm definitely watching this one again as a stand-alone soon. The heels taking out Ospreay in an extended beat down post-match was an odd choice in front of his home crowd, but I had no problem with it watching on TV. It just gives more of a storyline reason for him to have neck surgery and be out for awhile. All in all, a violent, fun time."
[10.0] "Everyone in this match was great and everything about this match was amazing. Got really emotional when that Windsor narrated, Ospreay video was playing and what heel heat for the DeathRiders in the end oh my goodness. They have been on a fantastic run post Dynasty. This version of them rocks"
[10.0] "This one sits at the third place of my MOTYCs list. The amount of moves and sequences featured was insane and the amount of fan service (if you know the past story of the superstars involved) was incredibly satisfying. Glad Ospreay was able to have the send off bout he wanted before his operation and Allin was amazing as always, the ending was a true feel good moment too. There is just too much about this insane brawl, just go watch it. *****3/4(5, 75*/11, 5 out of ten)"
[10.0] "Who would've thought that Hiroshi Tanahashi's final match in the UK would be a cage death match with Omega, Darby, Ibushi, Ospreay, the Bucks and Death Riders? However this was an awesome match that had some insane shit in it. It was brutal, fun and a good shit show that had the crowd heavily invested in it despite the long evening. I enjoyed this, but I understand why some people wouldn't."
[0.0] "I've sat through some convoluted garbage in my 40 years as a fan, but this made CZW seem like it stands for Cing'Z Wroad. These half-hour, multi-man, steel cage plunder fests clearly only work with staggered entrances and the traditional, beatdown based, repeated one-man advantage for the heels. When you ditch that principle, you end up with a bunch of spot spectators hanging around ringside waiting for their cue to take centre stage and perform their routine - which in this case might involve the silliest of slapstick comedy or full-on gory mutilation, who knows? I'm glad folks are still enjoying what pro wrestling has become, but I'm gonna retreat into my cave and shun this nonsense DUD"
[8.0] "This was the match of the night - not bad for a random, thrown together cage match. There were some memorable moments - the Bucks pulling out a bag of gummi bears, Darby and Gabe Kidd taking an insane bump from the cage through a stack of tables, Ospreay's moonsault from the top of the cage... but it still felt like a mostly pointless match even with this feeling like Ospreay's sendoff. Tanahashi in particular looked so rough and felt out of place with the rest. The good outweighed the bad though and I did enjoy most of it. ****"
[10.0] "Legendary match involving several legendary performers from all over the globe. An endlessly entertaining blend of humor and violence. IMO Ospreay will be ready in time for All In 2026(probably even a couple months before that), and this added obstacle/drama will only make his eventual crowning all the more epic. So as much as it sucks to be without him for the next several months, i do believe it all works out in the end and he will go on wrestle for many years to come thinking big picture."
[10.0] "Fantastic match with emotional highs. The heels looked great in defeat, and I think the Deathriders have done a great job turning it around. It was nice to see Tana active and Ospreay perform without adding any additional injuries"
[10.0] "Some of the spots in their match were gnarly, but an incredible match. The callbacks with Bucks/Golden Lovers were such a joy to witness, and I pray we see Golden Lovers more in action as their chemistry still feels very potent. Ospreay taking a step back and not going for the usual risk taking moves he usually does was very good both in kayfabe and reality simultaneously. The faces caring for Tanahashi's health, and having him deliver the final pin was very bittersweet as this whole Forbidden Door was initialized by him. Omega looked amazing, and I'm eager to see this drive in the future. And of course, the Darby spots were psychotic, as you'd usually expect. Very fun, and an incredible spectacle."
[7.0] "Pretty good main event with a lot of ups and downs for me. Overall a solid match that was able to properly articulate how important Will Ospreay is to the AEW roster. It was a bit of a mess at times, which I think was the point but some of it didn't work for me. The babyfaces not climbing the cage was a bit silly as well, but didn't influence this rating that much."
[8.0] "I loved most of this, a lot of the spots made logical sense and were a lot of fun to watch irl. Absolutely loved Tanahashi's involvement, with the face team preventing him from doing anything insane until the match was basically won and they let him hit his finisher. Didn't love the silly Bucks nonsense."
[10.0] "SPOT FESTS GOOD! This was so unbelievably entertaining. The babyface team just attempting everything they could think of was fun as hell. The heels were the perfect amount of crazy. Darby Allin died. And that doesn't even cover half of what happened. Just an incredible experience."
[8.0] "It's not my graps but I still had a wonderful time. Hiroshi Tanahashi is amongst my wrestling heroes so it was amazing to see him in the flesh again, and probably for the last time :'(. Also super fun to see the Bucks, Kenny, Kota, Ospreay (OUR chav) even those rat bastard death riders. They played the hits, and the gross shit was kept to a minimum. Spots ranged from goofy to impressive. I felt like a mark in the territories screaming expletives at the Death Riders in the post match. Good end to a good show. It lacked the peaks of All In '24, but there wasn't a bad thing on this show."
