[7.0] "[3.5*] What a spectacular experience. The match had only 13 minutes, but the whole segment had 35 minutes and was borderline excellent. It had a pre-match promo where MJF not only generated tons of heat for himself, but he also put Zandokan Jr over as a tecnico for one night only. The match was very good, very crowd-worked but they also had chemistry inside the ring, with a proper rudo finish that protects Zandokan. The post-match was also great, with MJF taking Zandokan's mask off, then being confronted by Mistico who accepted a Mask vs Title Match (and tried to sneak in MJF's hair on the line lol) and was attacked afterwards too. Fire segment."
[6.0] "An unpagrade from the previous match, but still not a delight to watch. Once again, MJF is great before and after the match, but when the bell rings, it's not it, man. Zandokan Jr is very talented and did what he could to make the match enjoyable, but I don't think MJF's style turned out to be good for the most part of it. He works the crowd almost the entire match but you can only get so far doing things like this, it gets to a point. Ending strech was very good and fun tho, specially the crazy Plancha by Zandokan."
[6.0] "Sighs. Well, it can't be said it was bad. Zandokan Jr did his best and honestly MJF offensive towards win was pretty decent, enjoyable at the best point. However, he truly does not understand how the lucha libre style works. At elast INSIDE the ring he doesn't, because outside before the match started he made a great heel promo getting tons of heat and also making Zandokan for one night only be a beloved tecnico for the mexican crowd. The match? Slow, heart-empty and with some truly moments of MJF just spamming unnecessary bullshit. If you like MJF at any circunstance, this might be good for your eyes. But, nah. Zandokan Jr really tried his best to make that match something, shout out for him."
[6.0] "I feel like there's a law of diminishing returns with MJF's act in México. Not like in the USA is better (in fact, it's much worse, look at the horrendous angle on Dynamite that undid a perfect and simple setup for Forbidden Door), but I still feel like there's a sameness to all he does. Here, against Zandokan, he goes again for the stalling cheapness, the cut offs and the low blows. We get again a limb selling performance from his opponent that appears without MJF earning it, and he just capitalises on luck. But Zandokan Jr. is not the puncher that Averno is, nor him diving feels like as big of a deal as the veteran brawler doing it. Zandokan is just a worse opponent than Averno in this setting, even if MJF's act wasn't a rehash."
[9.0] "Great match, with a pace dictated by MJF, but Zandokan managed to adapt and put together a dynamic and entertaining match. Drama and tension in the closing moments."
[8.0] "really enjoying MJF's time in CMLL and Zandokan proved himself as one of the more exciting fresh talents of the year. Can't wait to see more of him."
[8.0] "MFJ is perfect for CMLL and you can tell he enjoys it allot as he continues to wrestle there and I can't wait for the second match Against Mistico at the anniversary show Zandokan jr is one of the best up and coming luchadores that CMLL has to offer and you can tell they know that too"
[9.0] "Best MJFs match in Mexico so far, it was hotter than the ones before, and the in ring work also showed mre effort. Zandokan also looked like a great tecnico, Its ne of the times that I actually liked a dirty finnish, because it made sense."
[3.0] "I thought this match sucked, not only from the creative perspective where your top cool rudo absolutely had his legs chopped off from underneath him to put over MJF who hardly needs it, but because the work also sucked. Zandokan doesn't work western style so aside from one dive he was reduced to lame clobbering, while MJF just did the bare minimum heat tactics. MJF is a great wrestler and it's 2025, you can do more than the minimum. This is the second time he's stunk the joint up in the main event. But at least the mask vs title match is set now."
