[2.0] "Motor City Machine Guns are one of the best tag teams in the world. When they arrived to WWE, they got the tag titles pretty fast, and honestly the future looked promising. Now here we are, with them losing to "Talla Tonga" and temu Jeff Cobb. Sounds like a joke, unfortunately isn't."
[4.0] "The match was sound but it just felt very sluggish. I don't know if that was the direction given to Talla and Mateo but both men could have worked moves with a little more urgency. **"
[5.0] "A pretty average match here, unfortunately. It sucks to see The Motor City Machine Guns getting, basically, fed to Mateo and Tonga. Speaking of which, I've complained about Mateo's name quite a bit, but now it's time to complain about Tonga. Listen, Hikuleo isn't the greatest name ever, but it's certainly better than Talla Tonga. Good lord. This company continues to fall more and more into VKM tendencies."
[3.0] "Very mid match, without much interest, on one hand, the MCMG lose credibility by losing against a newly formed team, and on the other, JC Mateo & Talla Tonga do not look impressive, JC is very limited in his holds, and Talla Tonga's only strength is his size. No impressive spots in this match nor any progress in the storyline."
[3.0] "Just pointless, surely if they wanted to make MTF look strong they could of bought up a team from NXT or bought in some local talent to job and get some screen time Infront of a big audience. But no lets have one of the best teams of the 21st century get beat by a team that has been made to look like geeks on the most recent PPV in a heatless short uninteresting TV match. The thing is i actually was kind of intersted in this match before hand as i like the career work of MCMG and Jeff Cobb (but Hikuleo has never been good and never will be) But no we got a really bland match which left me wishing the three guys i liked were doing literally anything else. (*3/4)"
[4.0] "Match did what WWE wanted it to do in building up the MFTs. MCMG took the bumps and looked good as the underdog babyfaces when they were attempting a comeback. Overall sad to see them using the MCMG as jobbers in a glorified squash match."
[4.0] "Mediocre match that doesn't turn out to be horrible thanks to the mcmg who unfortunately get destroyed by the mft. The mft are a bad copy of a bad copy of the bloodline, jc Mateo is finished, talla is nothing special and seeing that these guys are going for the title makes me angry especially with the kind of tag division that smackdown has"
[5.0] "I mean fine match. Very short, pretty uneventful, didn't really need to happen, meh. Also not a fan of having MCMG immediatley lose following TLC to these new members of the MFT's"
[3.0] "Just why? Why am I as a fan supposed to care about either of these teams? They've given no reason as to why there someone to be invested in. So lame."
[7.0] "Solid match. Very competitive. Good sequences between both teams. Solid effort by all four men in the match. Just because you do not like the booking does not take away from the quality of the match. This match did what it was intended to do solidly."
[3.0] "Mediocre. The first match of the MFTs as a tag team. Putting them in there with a good team like MCMG made sense to see what they're capable of. There was nothing that stood out. Mateo is fine in the ring, maybe if he had an actual character they could get something out of him. Talla has been built like a monster yet all he does is generic big man stuff with a very limited set of moves who doesn't do anything particularly well. MFTs dominate and win, but who cares? Nobody. This group sucks. 3.5/10"
"MCMG booking continues to waste their potential. JC Mateo showed nothing, Tala Tonga is still aggressive in the ring, the only thing he managed in this fight was a choke. Watching this fight gives me a headache."
[3.0] "End the Talla Tonga experiement I'm tired and no one wants to see this. MFT's being the Motor City Machine Guns is actually insane and shouldn't have happened. The MFT's are the reason why the quality on SmackDown dipped a horrendous group that no one cares about. Talla Tonga is one of the worst wrestlers I've ever seen. He can't do anything properly, and they are trying so hard to make him a monster, and it's not believable. Send him back to the Performance Center to allow him to fix his wrestling. JC Mateo, aka Jeff Cobb, needs to separate himself. He could be such a badass heel in the mid-card, but he's stuck in one of the most lifeless stories currently in WWE. Horrible stuff all-around, and I hope Motor City Machine Guns are moved to Monday Night RAW, as they can bring life to that lifeless Tag Division."
[4.0] "I mean, it was short, it was obvious what was about to happen and why. But who cares. Seriously, who cares. I can't believe how I was hyped up by the MCMG when they signed but this is where we are now. The obviously better tag team jobbing to the unwatchables."
[6.0] "The first match wasn't too bad. Obviously, it's not as good as what the tag team division offers us, but it was decent. MCMG is always good. Having MFT win clean is great, but it won't change the fact that Solo's clan is uninteresting. Solo doesn't need a clan; he has more than enough ability to go solo."
[2.0] "At least the Guns got a promo before the match, that was nice. Match itself nothing. MCMG tried a bit with their speed, Mateo is still booked like a loser and Talla is just tall."
