[7.0] "This was like their RAW matches until the rep bump and shenanigans. Unlike the WM triple threat, this was contrived to manufacture an epic feeling. IYO and Rhea have good chemistry but whoever agented their match did them no favours by structuring it like that."
[10.0] "This is EASILY a top 5 women's match EVER, this match is so good. Without any of the finish stuff this match was phenomenal, I would've been fine with any outcome of this match by the end of it cause it was just so good, BUT then you factor in that ending with the cash-in which NO ONE and I mean NO ONE expected, we all thought she was gonna cash in on the women's champion either Tiffany or jade but NO she did it here and it was perfect. Just a chef's kiss match"
[9.0] "I admit this is a personal issue, and I understand that the whole point of Money in the Bank nowadays is to take advantage of the champion at their weakest moment, but it kills me to see two wrestlers deliver a match like this, pushing themselves to the point of exhaustion, only for the title to be taken by a third person in a matter of seconds. Setting that part aside, though, the match itself is built around a very simple story: two wrestlers who respect each other, but with Rhea trying to finally break the bad streak she's had against Iyo since the earliest stages of both of their WWE careers. Iyo is as spectacular as ever, with tremendous crowd support behind her, but Rhea Ripley gets plenty of that support as well. She sells the offense just as well as she delivers her own, surviving long stretches of control from an Iyo who is constantly looking to increase the pace and make life difficult for her, while Ripley relies more on power-based offense. The match is magnificent, and to me it's one of the clearest examples that truly great wrestlers can get an enormous amount out of simple stories. They can tell you so much inside the ring without needing anything more complicated than that."
[10.0] "This is probably the best women's match that wwe has ever produced, iyo sky and Rhea ripley simply have phenomenal chemistry. The powerhouse X highflyer dynamic works perfectly with them. I groaned a bit at the ref bump but they quickly made up for it with the amazing brawl outside, and the kickout of the OTM genuinely gagged me. It's honestly a crime that the sequel wasn't booked as one of the main events of wrestlemania 42 after that performance *****"
[10.0] "Exceptional graps. Iyo even sells rest holds like she's been put in the fucking liontamer. Great little crowd brawl that reminded me of Sasha/Charlotte and a brilliant near-fall off the moonsault. Mania 31 vibes from the finish ****3/4"
[9.0] "Iyo and Rhea are wrestling soul mates, these two cannot have a bad together and the more they are in the ring together, the better their chemistry gets. This started off as a very technical match, both women worked hard, it was smooth, it was very methodical, it didn't feel like a WWE match, more like a Stardom / New Japan match at the start. Iyo carried the match, and it was amazing, the pacing was so beautifully done and for almost 25 mins, it never dragged or had too much downtime. This was elegant, it was wrestling in its purest form for the first 15 mins or so and even after the ref bump, the action was excellent and the ref bump actually allowed for some beautiful spots outside the ring. Iyo deserves all the laurels for her performance but Rhea Ripley was also giving one of the best performances she had ever given and until Naomi's music hit, this was on the way to becoming top five, even top three best women's matches. It's not that I didn't like Naomi's cash in, it's just I just wanted a proper conclusion to what was an already excellent match. If the match was just good or okay, I wouldn't mind the cash in but we were on the verge of witnessing a true classic and I just felt a little flat that it had to end in a cash in after Iyo and Rhea put in so much work. Still a great match though. ****1/2"
[10.0] "Second best women's match of the year. The story was not it but the match was amazing. Once again the women proved why they rule and they're the best at the game. Iyo kicking the referee was perfect. Her jumping onto Rhea from there was perfection. Not a dull moment during this match. The counters were very good. You had no idea who would win the title. And then Naomi came and cashed in her MITB contract. That was the most unexpected and the best thing I've ever seen. She deserved it so much and it continued the story between Rhea and Iyo. Best women's cash in ever!"
[8.0] "Definitely one of the best female matches of all-time. They have to have years of unintentional build to ever get a main event like this again. It is literally a battle for the female face of the company, as chosen by the fans since the last Evolution. Naomi somewhat cheapens it all, but the match was built to have them be even and then be ruined. Hammy actor IYO is the MVP of the division."
[9.0] "Pretty terrific match with IYO showing out in comparison to Ripley. Ripley going into this match wasn't well liked by a lot of people & by me as well, but her performance in this match was for the most part good even though I noticed some parts where she didn't know what to do next."
[9.0] "What a match! IYO and Rhea completely decimate and push each other to their max, only for Naomi to cash in when the both of them could barely stand anymore. A great, great main event. As someone said, this would be a 10 if there was a "proper finish"."
[10.0] "An absolute masterclass of a main event. Iyo Sky and Rhea Rhipley are the two best wrestlers right now and its not even close, and they put on pure cinema. Not to mention the fantastic twist at the end with Naomi cashing in. Amazing."
[10.0] "Certainly not a good build, but we all knew that they would have a great match. However, this still FAR exceeded expectations. Those two tore the house down. Naomi's cash-in was also the cherry on top. What an amazing bout."
[10.0] "Ok this in my opinion is the best wwe women's match of all time. The wrestling was absolutely amazing. I loved how it turned into a street fight half way through with the ref knocked down. The cherry on top is that cash in ending. That was unpredictable and extremely awesome at the same time. This is easily in my top 3 matches this year along with Cena vs Styles and Cena vs Cody 2."
[10.0] "It was an outstanding match that continued with numerous nearfalls and big moments throughout. I kept on waiting for Ripley hitting a Riptide off the top rope to win the match, but it never happened and Naomi showed up to ruin it. Sky is such a talented performer who is such an excellent counter wrestler and she makes everything look easy. I enjoy watching Sky so much while Ripley is terrific with her power game. I'll never get sick of watching Sky face Ripley in a match. The cash-in was awesome. I wasn't thinking about Naomi at all during this match, but it was a brilliant time for it because it's so fitting for a heel like Naomi to steal the spotlight by cashing in Money in the Bank and leaving with the title. From a character standpoint, it makes Naomi look so smart by cashing in during an epic main event and stealing the spotlight while leaving with the Women's World Title."
[7.0] "It was a good match but for 30 minutes of segment time it didn't deliver the action per minute to warrant a rewatch for me, especially considering the anti climactic finish. WWE has kept using cute tricks to get around recycling Rhea and Io in different forms and it just didn't work well enough for me to be a satisfying conclusion to half hours worth of time at the 2nd biggest show of the year where you'd expect more closure."
[6.0] "First half (~15 minutes) was worked like a paint-by-numbers title match (surprisingly sloppy in the beginning, though it got better the longer the match was going), then ref took a bump and they filled time with some brawling on the outside, which surprisingly added a good amount of drama and anticipation for what would happen next. They got back in the ring, where miraculously referee was almost ready to get back in the ring. They did a big near-fall, then did a few more spots where they were taking WAY too much time between spots to give that crowd a wave to ride, so Naomi could run in at the right time. The crowd popped huge for dastardly heel who did everything she could to steal the win and the title because 'that's how pro-wrestling is these days'. My problem with this match is that it simply fell winto a trap of becoming a 'forced epic' on top of that crowd cheering on everyone and everything just because they could, so when it was all said and done the result didn't mean anything even though the entire match was building to the finish. I think this that Shirai and Ripley haven't had their best possible singles match against each other - I liked what I saw here, they just can do better than this."
[9.0] "Possibly the best women's singles match I have ever seen. The chemistry between the two is amazing and I love the story of IYO being Rhea's kryptonite. They went all in on this one; big bombs, big time kickouts, big time ref bump and a memorable cash-in. ****1/2"
[7.0] "Maybe I am just a WWE hater, but this isn't as good as what people were saying it was. By all means, is it a bad match? Hell no, it's IYO and Rhea getting time, it will be good. But it feels a little forced. Evolution from last year felt forced, and this main event feels so much like it is trying for the EPIC. It feels just forced to me, idk why. I don't like the ref bump at all because, of course, it is just so unnecessary. I understand WWE doesn't like having refs not count, but if you NEED the crowd brawling here, just have her not count them out. A ref bump just for crowd brawling is so stupid. I also just don't like the crowd brawling either, though, so that whole part of the match I didn't like. But I still liked the match as these two are super workers in the women's division and did do a good match. But why did Naomi cash in DURING the match? I have no problem with Naomi cashing in, JUST DO IT AFTER THE MATCH. And it's not like they did it to protect either woman, IYO GOT PINNED AFTER THE REF BUMP. Actually, sorry, it was to protect Rhea. Whatever man. Ruined what could have been a great match. Still good but not as what I have heard IMO. ***3/4 (3.75)"
[9.0] "I'm sorry but this is just straight up better than the WM41 match in my opinion. Both matches were really good but I feel that the near falls hit harder when a person actually has to kick out of the impossible rather than seeing the 3rd women in the match time their save perfectly. This had all the perfect counters and reversals that you'd expect from two women who have spent essentially the whole year fighting each other. This also featured the greatest womens cash-in of all time. This is my 15th favourite match of the year and my 3rd favourite WWE match of the year. 9.25/10"
[9.0] "[4.25*] Absolutely amazing match, the best match of the show and my 2nd favorite including saturday and sunday. This was just exactly what I wanted and expected from them. A proper bump-fest with such great chemistry, this match was on fire from start to finish. I loved the explosion, the sequences, the high spots... I was legitimately impressed with the level of work they put on there. I watched this match with my girlfriend and she's not even a wrestling fan but she loved every second of it. Then at the ending we had the cash-in. In some weaker matches, the cash-in is usually what saves them. But this match was so great that some of my friends thought the cash-in ruined it lol. Anyways, I loved the in-ring work and I thought the cash-in was a cool moment that made me pop and didn't ruin a single thing."
[10.0] "i keep coming back to this match. as we near the new year i think i can definitively say this was MOTY for me. beautiful work by two of today's greats, each looking their best, and serving a purpose in the broader story picture. only downside was the actual build to the match wasn't given the time and effort it deserved."
[10.0] "This was so amazing. I don't have enough words to say who great the match between Rhea and IYO was, but I am a little tired of the cash-in concept. Such a spectacular display between two women who settled nothing, only for a rando to come down and attack them when they were weak."
[10.0] "Iyo Sky is by far the best in-ring performer WWE has right now, and the best they've had since Bryan Danielson. Shoutout to Rhea for consistently bringing out the best of every opponent she faces, and of course, props to Naomi for completely reinventing herself in such an awesome way."
[9.0] "One of my favorite matches of the year, and I thought it was the perfect ending to a overall great PPV. Naomi cashing in couldn't have been timed more perfectly. Iyo and Rhea been on a hot streak all year"
[8.0] "The match could be maybe the best women's match in the history of WWE, maybe from all America ever... but my problem with it is: I hate the concept of the cash-in! I hate when Rollins did it 10 years ago, when he did this year, and I hated it now. Rhea and IYO had a fantastic match, and no one will be talking about it. Anyway, props for them, and congrats to Naomi, I guess. (****1/4)."
[5.0] "IYO & Rhea are both great but this wasn't. This went long for the sake of going long & it just killed the flow of the match for me, I'm fine with matches going long if there is a purpose but there wasn't with this match. The crowd definitely made this better than what it actually was. Naomi cashing in was not only awful but also made 0 sense when her whole program was being involved with Jade & Tiffany for the title on Smackdown"
[10.0] "The best match that wwe has had all year in my honest opinion. This was on another level of good. This wasn't just magic they legit did black magic and im not joking the references to older classics theyve shared like they did at mania 41 throughout that pinning combination iyo tried to do. The callback to rhea vs charlotte at the end with iyo countering it into a Spanish fly. Just magic. There was even a callback to one of the most underrated matches of the nxt black and gold era. Rhea vs iyo vs charlotte throughout that frog splash on the outside. Was also iyos first title win overall 10:10"
[7.0] "It's a good match but I think it's ruined by slow pacing and the referee bump. Also, while there is some great action in this match, for me it's not even close to iyo's best matches in japan. It's still better than 90% of women's matches. Worth watching *** 3/4"
[9.0] "An incredible match until we see the money in the bank gimmick ruin it. I understand it is exciting in the moment for the fans but it looked goofy to see them cheering for a clear heel moment. Iyo vs Rhea was incredible, the dive out in the crowd that Iyo hit was impressive. She was at full speed here opposite Ripley."
[10.0] "Incredible match everything about this feels authenti And this is geniunly a top 3 matches in the wwe over the last decade, this was on another level of good Special talents, special chemistry special event, 10/10"
[6.0] "This match is very overrated, I've never been a fan of the chemistry between Rhea & IYO from their matches on Raw & NXT and this was no different. One of the many reasons I thought their WrestleMania match that included Bianca was incredible was because Bianca added more physicality & pace, this was the opposite of that."
"Has to be talked about as one of, if not THE single best match of the new era of WWE. Reminded me a bit of Bret vs Austin, if Bret and Austin were frenemies who begrudgingly respected one another and eventually became allies. You'd think this would make for a bad match, but it just doesn't. The story is that Iyo has always had Rhea's number - and because both have a tremendous amount of buy-in from the audience, that's really all you need. This is coming off almost six months of buildup, and it didn't feel stale or overdone. The lack of promotion by the company for this PPV actually worked wonders for this, because they beat the fans over the head with literally everything else. I'm really just astounded by how well these two did with so little, and didn't reek of 10 people having their hands in the mix, fucking everything up. Didn't need any unnecessary heat, no cheating or backstage attacks beforehand, no run-ins (well...kinda) - just two terrific competitors duking it out to see who's best. You see how bad most of the current booking decisions are these days, and then you have stuff like this that would stick out and be remarkable in ANY era. But it especially does now. These two have a powerful aura of protection around them. Both talents are kinda getting jerked around now - Iyo with this awkward and slow Kabuki Warriors heel turn, and Rhea fighting Judgement day for the 1000th time. I think Rhea and Iyo would do wonders for the tag team scene, which has been sorely neglected in WWE for like ever. They've won their titles and proven themselves ten times over, and the audience clearly wants to see them working together. God, what performers."
[6.0] "I didn't enjoy this as much as others and thought their WrestleMania match was much better. This started off slow possibly due to the fact they were given 25 plus minutes so it took awhile to kick into another gear but once it did I was really enjoying it up until the cash-in happened which was a lazy cop out and such a huge letdown. A audible should've been called to either do it post match or not do it at all."
[10.0] "Two future GOATS of WWE , The match was intense, using the entire arena including ringside and even the crowd area, which heightened the encounter's energy and created unforgettable moments. Their technical exchanges and counters demonstrated incredible chemistry and mutual respect, while highlights included Iyo's breathtaking aerial moves and Ripley's punishing power moves that kept fans on edge, Naomi cashing in added to the historic match and it won't be forgotten , this type of match gets better the older time goes"
[10.0] "This is the best wwe match of the year and the second best match of the year behind Takehsita vs bandido. It was a freaking masterpiece. These two displayed insane chemistry here. I loved how wwe didn't build any story in weeks leading into the weeks, yet these two were able to do that and got the crowd invested DURING the match. That nearfall at the end was just incredible. But the Naomi cashed in and it was just icing on the cake. I don't think I've watched a wwe women's match before where we saw this much drama and stakes and anticipation. Naomi truly had the women's version of the heist of the century."
[9.0] "Definitely the best match of the night, in my eyes. I didn't like it QUITE as much as a lot of others did, but I did really enjoy it. This was, for sure, their best match against one another. Now, I'm not too big on Naomi, but I actually do like her cashing in here and everything. As stated on commentary numerous times, Ripley has never beat SKY in a non-Tag Team Match. She's never beaten her one-on-one. With this, their story is kept alive for a bit longer. That said, I do hope they get to run this back and make Ripley finally beating SKY into a big moment, hopefully at a big show like a SummerSlam or a WrestleMania sometime down the line."
[5.0] "This had the makings to be an all timer with a super hot crowd & a special PPV event but the final stretch of this match was just overbooked. There was no need for a ref bump especially one that long between two babyfaces, neither were going to turn heel & no heel interfered while the ref was down so it was really unnecessary & added nothing to the kind of match they were having. I'm not the biggest fan of the MITB concept either but it's whatever. Overall just a match that could've been special but got ruined due to overbooking"
[9.0] "Loved this match. What a great barn burner this was. Whenever those two women are in a ring together, they will always deliver. The only thing I wasn't really a fan of was how sudden the Naomi cash in was. I was enjoying the match very thoroughly until the cash in."
[9.0] "Not quite on par with the incredible triple threaton night 2 of Mania a few months back but still top notch action. Iyo is just utterly fantastic"
[10.0] "I would've preferred this to have a clean finish first before Naomi came out and cash in, Atp I don't mind who's winning between Rhea and Iyo, but now it seems like they want to stretch Iyo vs Rhea even further, probably until Wrestlemania and after watching this match I don't really mind another Iyo vs Rhea at all. This is an all timer, in the conversation of the greatest women's match in the US."
[8.0] "This was amazing and Naomi cashing in was the cherry on top. The low point for me was when they went into the crowd, that was unnecessary for me but I could just be over critical."
[10.0] "This is probably my favourite WWE women's match of the year, could be of all time. I really love the chemistry between rhea and iyo. They always deliver. This was a phenomenal match, and the cash in at the end made it even better because no one expected it to happen on this side of the brand. Very well done."
[10.0] "IYO vs Rhea was best WWE women's match of all-time. As a fan of Naomi, i really liked the swerve, hadn't even thought of that because i thought she was cashing in on Tiffy, but IYO and Rhea had the match they always could have had, and my match of the year. And yes, i know its only July, but i don't see anything topping that!"
"This match was a classic, one of the best triple threats in WWE history and in my opinion easily the best triple threat match of 2025. Styles, Daniels and Joe would be impressed!"
[10.0] "It was a little slow in the beginning but turned into a perfect match pretty quickly, and it had one of the best cash ins in modern history on top of that. No notes."
[9.0] "A genuinely great and engaging match, deserving of the praise it gets. They told a very nice story and played the characters well and it's only a shame they didn't get a proper build for the match cause it could have hit a lot harder; still they managed to do well with what they were given and had fantastic chemistry. The cash-in was a welcome surprise and didn't took away anything from the match, if anything it gave the RAW division some life and left room for an Iyo v Rhea rematch, hopefully with a proper lead up this time."
