Blake was a great heel in AEW as Mariah May, so I don't mind seeing her go into a heel role. It also fits her as a cocky woman who says she's the "Glamour." They didn't have a long match, but it was fast-paced and full of action. Grace came close to winning a few times, but couldn't get the job done."
[6.0] "I think Jordynne Grace had timing issues during this match because Jayne looked good. I don't watch NXT, so this heel turn was fine, I guess, but I'm not sure where it came from or what was going on there. Picked up at the end."
[7.0] "A surprisingly solid match here. Grace is awesome, but Jayne, on the other hand, has never been my favorite, unfortunately. That said, I'm very behind on NXT's weekly product, so I haven't been in the weeds to see a lot of improvement. In any case, this was good."

Jayne has really grown offensively and can meet Grace head on in this kind of shootout now, giving this a real crunching flavour throughout. [8.0] "Liked this match a lot, very stiff very aggressive, I understand the feeling that it was too long given what it would end up kinda turning into with the turn being the big story, but in my opinion the action was good and having a good match is always worth the time and effort it takes to get there."
[7.0] "Think Jayne plays the heel really well and they have some great spots in this match. Deadlift powerbomb is a good example of one. Monroe betraying Grace was the obvious finish of the matchup. Went a little longer than it needed to but overall was still a good matchup."

Since the story of the match is that Grace is the better wrestler and only loses one Blake turns, this shouldn't have been as evenly booked as it was, especially considering Jacy Jayne isn't particularly good at strong offence. The turn itself felt botched too, to the point that I didn't even know it had happened until I checked twitter. Just an unbelievable fumbling of what should've been a big moment, and highlights the lack of interesting creative on NXT currently."
[7.0] "This match's highlight was Blake turned on Jordynne. I thought Jordynne was going to win this match, then Blake would turn on her later, but HBK had different plan. Because, Jacy vs Blake is not solf for me. Overall, this is a decent championship match."
[6.0] "Pretty solid match that was somewhat lacking in heat, and admittedly held down by Jacy's limitations within the ring. Jordynne looked super good here as a physical threat, always having to be caught off guard by Jacy in some way in order for her to land offense, and Jacy, while not spectacular, was a pretty decent heel in this bout. I thought their chemistry was decent, and the match got better as it went. I do think the interference with Blake's heel turn was a bit... idk... undercooked, just felt a bit anticlimactic when it should've been more dramatic. Overall this match was fine, but it was easily the weakest thing on the show for me, it was pretty nice to see the NXT Women's title defended on a Main Roster PPV though."
[5.0] "it isn't bad at all honestly actually i'd say this is the best singles match ive seen from jacey jane that i can remember just right off the top of my head but then again grace is probably rhe best in ring women's worker on nxt today. There isn't anything special about the match that puts it over the top i think it was just pretty well worked. But it legit feels like the entire reason for this match is for an angle and to start a feud between blake monroe and grace. Which i knew would be happening for sure but didn't really expect it to happen this soon i thought they'd slow burn it a bit but in super glad they didn't and are just getting right to the point honestly. Finish was weak for me it just seemed awkward and more confusing than shocking. 3 stars"
[4.0] "Not bad, but surely not good either. The main issue is that this is match is an excuse for an angle. Grace is presented as the superior here, and Jayne getting out of a hold throwing Jordynne throat first into the ropes is the catalyst for Jack's offense targeting the Juggernaut's neck. It's a valid match story, but it's undermined by various factors. Given the length of the bout, it felt to much like a back and forth. I feel like Jacy isn't delivered or nasty enough with her attack. The spot when she grabbed Jordynne's hair while stomping on her neck was good in that sense, but it's only one moment. The rest of Jayne's offense was much more going through the motions kind of stuff, even if the neck is the target. Grace is not a great seller either to make up for it. So it ends up feeling rush, with a finish that doesn't pay off any in ring action, but a segment of TV between one of the competitors (Jordynne Grace) and Blake Monroe (which makes your top champ feel like a third wheeler)."
[8.0] "Really good, far better than expected as Jacy Jayne continues to prove me wrong as Champion. Jordynne Grace we know is great, so that's less of a surprise. There was one weird leg capture suplex that looked particularly cool from Grace, but both women worked well together and delivered. The turn was predictable but I wasn't sure if it'd happen during the match, after the match, or on a future show, so no complaints. 8 and we've officially had an awesome start to the show."
[5.0] "A missed opportunity. The match started to get really good with these near falls until that weak finish. A title hit on the head, why not. But knocked out with a title hit on the back ? Nah that was not realistic. It killed the whole match for me. Sad because the action was good before that."
[7.0] "Jacy Jayne is so underrated and I will always sing her praises. Great performance from her and she got the crowd very behind Jordynne. The finish was weird and the heel turn was poorly done. Not sure why they did it like that. Good match."

Jacy as champion is absolutely amazing, i love her heel work and you can tell she's having time of her life proving everyone wrong. The case with Jordynne Grace is you can't have a bad match against her, that's just not possible and her in-ring work is PHENOMENAL! Blake Monroe turn was expected but it hurt so bad, their pairing was awesome. I was also sad we didn't seen appearance from Masha Slamovich, i was hoping for her looking at the fact she was backstage at Evolution. Overall it was very fun and great match. ****, 25"

WWE is assuming their fans already know about Mariah May and her turn. The difference is, one turn was over the course of a year and the other a week. That's why the crowd was dead."
[3.0] "Maybe the match I liked the least after the battle royale, there are very few actions for a championship match that gives you the chance to face Masha Slamovich and potentially be double champion NXT and TNA, not to mention Mariah May's betrayal that spoils the end, I didn't expect much from this match but I'm still disappointed with the quality"
[5.0] "***1/4 normal match, normal pace that improved towards the end, normal chemistry, some interesting sequences but few, an interesting ending with Monroe betraying Jordynne by attacking her with the title and helping Jacy retain, not very remarkable but the public helped make the path to the final stretch better because you could feel how both were motivated to raise the level"

[7.0] "This was a good match, and Jacy Jayne is doing wonders right now as the NXT women's champion., She still has a lot to prove in NXT and would like to see her one day in the main roster, and Blake Monroe's heel turn was expected, so it didn't shock most of the viewers who were watching at home. [6.0] "This was an acceptable match for the NXT title. Jacy Jayne as Women's Champion still just isn't doing it for me, and she doesn't have the "it" factor needed to be a top star. Grace, while protected in defeat, needed this win here. [7.0] "I really liked this one. They started off a bit slow, but that probably was wise after the opener. These took their time and built a really good match that had me on the edge of my seat down the stretch. Interesting to see them have Monroe turn on Grace here. I liked their partnership and would've liked to see more of it, but I can understand wanting Monroe on her own. She's a star and is a great heel. Glad to see Jayne retain. I've really liked her reign, and I think she's shown just how good she is now that she's been given the ball. 3.75 stars."
[7.0] "Honestly a pretty decent match mainly thanks to the fact Jordynne is very very good and can lead most people to a half way decent match. I cannot recall if I have seen Jacy wrestle before. I probably have back when I used to watch NXT in 2023, I thought she was decent in this not the greatest but she definitely has some potential. I was disappointed Jordynne didn't win the belt as she is the type of person that should hold this belt. But this match was more of a vehicle for Blake to turn heel and was it a bit clunky and weak with a pretty weak looking belt shot to Jordynne before Jacy hit her finisher. The turn was always under sold Michael Cole (I guess commentary with actual nuance is to hard for him). But it meant the finish fell a bit flat which was not great. Hopefully it will lead to a good feud between Jordynne and Blake. Overall a pretty solid match which was a good Vehicle for a heel turn which was sadly poorly executed. (***1/2)"
[6.0] "This was the weakest match of the card for me, but still it was satisfactory. I'm not sold on Jacy yet but I love Jordynne Grace, but I'm used to seeing big Jordynne Grace matches being better than this."

[6.0] "Solid match for the NXT title. Jacy and Grace had a competitive back and forth. Nothing too memorable about what they did, it was all fine. Blake Monroe turning on her new friend Grace to cost her the title was predictable. Jacy retains, which doesn't change the fact she is still a transitional champion but at least they didn't take the belt off of her so quickly. This was more of a setup to a Grace and Monroe feud. 6/10"

We were given a solid turn at the end by Blake Monroe (still not a big fan of that name). Ultimately what this gave me was an even bigger appreciation of Jacy Jayne that made me glad that she is getting a reign with the title to show that she is a real player in the division."

"No idea why some of the low ratings were accepted there, Jacy Jayne did great and showed all her skill i loved her taunt and trash talk in the match. Jordynne is exceptional in ring so it wasn't surprising to see her excels. I feel people don't know Jacy enough or ain't neutral enough, the spotlight is on here because she's a champion people are surprised with they thought they would give it to someone else more ''over''. I prefer Fallon henley not gonna lie but Jacy impressed me in that match and in that storyline because she's showing she can talk too. To me it's a 8.5 due to the finish keeping things interesting."
[7.0] "Good match. I like that Blake and Fatal Influence weren't too passive. And I love that Jordynne's moves looked really stiff. Jacy is really underrated, she's so good at small things. I expected the heel turn, but thought they could've executed better."

Jacy made a lot of small things that help matches flow really obvious and I'm not sure that's someone you really want to keep showing off as your champion. Sure it's the champion of your developmental brand. But still a champion who looks like they shouldnt be one. The Monroe turn here was flat as Nebraska. She JUST debuted. They just started the story with her and Jordynne as friends, so they turn her? Terrible planning. Real darts at board move to see if you can get someone more over who you thought would come in as a star."

[7.0] "This wasn't a bad match, as I thought this match was getting good until Blake Monroe turned heel and cost Jordynne Grace her chance to become WWE NXT Women's Champion. Jordynne Grace has one of the best women's movesets in wrestling because she really a lot to pull out in her moveset. Jacy Jayne held her own as well in this match. She didn't look bad. She has had a solid reign so far and now moves on to face TNA Women's Champion Masha Slamovich as she will face her as both of the titles will be on the line in a winner-takes-all match. But Jordynne Grace now shifts to Blake Monroe as this might be her final NXT feud before the Main Roster. This will elevate Blake Monroe a lot, having this feud with Jordynne Grace."
[8.0] "This was very good. Even prior to the inevitable Blake Monroe turn, which Michael Cole did an awful job selling (tough day in the office for him). Another match that was all killer no filler. I loved how physical it was with Jacy having to tap into another side of aggressiveness in order to match Jordynne's with some sick neck based offence targeting it throughout the match but like always, Jordynne's resiliency managed to uplift to do what she attempted to do in order to win the Nxt title. There was definitely a better way they could have done the finish but this match was still pretty compelling beforehand. ***3/4"
