[6.0] "This match had potential, especially considering how talented these two are. Some annoyances like Alex being Hologram's hype man for no reason and Neon's kicks looking weak for the most part. Still a match with awesome spots and impressive athleticism."
[10.0] "Extremely fun lucha match. Neon is so fun, hope he's doing well after his recent injury. Oh dang, Hologram is injured too, I just remembered. So that's bad luck but this match was just tremendously enjoyable to watch and the crowd loved it."
[8.0] "Wow, this match was even better than I had antecipated. Hologram is entertaining as usual, and I'm don't think I ever watched Neon before, but he looks great too. (****)."
[7.0] "This match is nice. First time seeing Neon in action and he definitely didn't disappoint. Good high-flying, crazy sequences, and really what else would you want. More of a 7.5 for me mainly because at times the action was kinda sloppy, and the referee was getting on my nerves the entire match. A good example of both was that crucifix pin where Neon and Hologram ended up in a very awkward position trying to even go into the pin, and then the ref waited an extra century to count the pin when he already does 6 counts for everything meaning that Hologram was now down for like, 8 before kicking out rather than a quick 2."
[5.0] "Entertaining match. It is mostly about the high-flying, flashy stuff in the latter part of the match with these two. The mat work is a bit lacking, as is the rest of the build-up to the finishing stretch in general. But when the flying comes, it's great. Crisp work from both men when doing it. That's the main attraction, and they deliver. But it makes it a little dull when the build-up to it is not properly executed."
[7.0] "This was a really beautifully orchestrated high flying bout with some amazing spots sprinkled throughout. There was a slight referee slip-up in the middle which took me out of the action for a moment, but otherwise this was really great. Hologram still does not have a great look in my eyes, but other than that he seems to be a pretty complete package. Hologram got the win with a UFO into a powerbomb and this was a very good exhibition match between these two but did not quite get to the great point due to the lack of overall story to the bout, it did just feel like spots for the sake of them at points."
[7.0] "[3.25*] Very good match, specially the 2nd half which was really damn awesome. The referee did a fucking awful job with that slow count with pauses, a 3-sec count is actually a 6-sec count for him, it doesn't even make sense. Edgar Noriega is miles better. This hold the match down imo, but thankfully Neon and Hologram are awesome so they were able to overcome this."
[7.0] "Really great match from both wrestlers. Hologram has really been showing off and getting a little more hype around him during these AEW/CMLL shows. Some incredible moves from both people such as Neon's jump from rope to rope before jumping onto Hologram and the finish dashed any idea of Hologram being upstaged. Fun match, I wouldn't give it more than a seven though."
[7.0] "Neon is very impressive, unfortunately, the beginning of the match wasn't as smooth as the rest of the match, lots of small botches and corrections."
[7.0] "Beautiful dancing in the ring on display here. I kind of missed the Hologram hype train that was building on AEW so this is my first time really seeing him being pushed hard and the guy can in fact work. I'm far more familiar with Neon who has been consistently impressive in CMLL and other indy shows he pops up in. Here I think Neon pretty much solidified his place as one of my favorite luchadores to catch at the moment. I think he clearly outpaced Hologram with some insanely inventive springboard offense and genuinely came off a lot more smooth but Hologram was far more consistent and craftier. This told a great story and highlighted cleared versatility in how luchadores work. Would've personally preferred Neon to go over but given the narrative they were telling in the ring it makes sense for the more seasoned Hologram to maintain his winning streak"
[9.0] "Neon did look like a treat for Hologram's streak which happyly did not end today. Both guys had some trouble at making their chemistry works, but they find a way to connect and the produced action was great. Hologram probably deserve a single belt run for the AEW and I hope they'll notice it sooner, that guy is a fucking star and he don't even need to talk, just let the bell rings and he'll talk with his body."
[8.0] "A really enjoyable match that got better the longer it went on started off slightly sloppy as both men felt each other out hence why I have not gone higher than an 8 but after Hologram hit the power bomb after Neon bounced of the rope the match was elite with both men pulling out some crazy stuff that had the crowd loud and involved. As a brit who mainly watch American European and Japanese wrestling this was my first time watching a match that Neon was a singles competitor and I was very impressed by him his movements were slick and well timed as were his amazing dives and his rope bounce moonsault is one of the coolest moves I have ever seen will be excited to see him wrestle again. Hologram looked good as per interesting to see him work a more grounded style due to the knee brace but the reserve Spanish fly was amazing and the win came with the Portal Bomb great match. (****1/4)"
[9.0] "Exactly and precisely a showcase of the future of lucah libre with these two kids and so proud of Hologram how he gets to grow with CMLL and AEW with little restrictions. This will be a match people will be told to seek out for the next few weeks I think because of just how much these young guys put out there and show everyone why Lucha is so great"
[8.0] "Really great stuff effectively throughout and exactly the sort of match you want a show like this to be able to bring you. Great crowd engagement too."
[10.0] "As many predicted, this ended up being fantastic. Apart from a couple slightly sloppy exchanges early on, Hologram and Neon showed terrific chemistry for their first ever encounter, and they brought the house down with their incredible high-flying. This would have stolen the show on the vast majority of nights, but the main event ended up being every bit as awesome. ****3/4"
[9.0] "Brilliant, electric and amazing match. Loved every second of it. True high level of wrestling and amazing exchanges. 2 os the best prospects in the world. Esto es lucha! Viva CMLL!"
[9.0] "The first of two exceptional 1:1 matches featuring young luchadores (combined age under 55), from a surprisingly strong Tuesday CMLL show. Genuine crowd reaction, great athleticism."
