[7.0] "With respect to the reputation of both grapplers, this is such a nice surprise. I certainly didn't expect anything bad, but presumed this would be more of a "solid pros" affair than anything with real oomph. Instead, this has a palpable spirit, really rocking the house and pairing noticeable motivation with their obvious knowhow. It's a strong TV main event, and an example of why a promotion like TNA remains so valuable to the scene. ***1/4"

[7.0] "The botched DDT to start things off didn't give me high hopes for this match, but it really wasn't half bad. I haven't been able to see much of Nemeth's heel work since joining TNA, but I'm pleasantly surprised. He's really doing all he can to be as slimy in the ring as he is in his promos. I hate to say my hero is getting slow, but Jeff did look a bit slow to start this one off - he sped up towards the end, but that out-of-the-gate intensity might be missing from some TV tapings these days. It's hard to look bad against Nic Nemeth, though, as the man carries a significant portion of the match on his back. His Swanton counter is something I don't think I've seen before as a Jeff Hardy fan, and was probably the most unique spot of the match along with the superkick counter to the Twist of Fate. I do also like that if the Twist of Fate II doesn't work, Jeff breaks out the original with the back landing - it adds a good bit of thought to the finish of his matches, which can be fairly predictable nowadays. This was no barn burner, but if you're a Jeff Hardy fan it's always nice to see the man sober and putting on good enough matches to keep himself relevant in a positive way."
