This was just blisteringly great fun, the energy from the fans was so high as we got treated to six great wrestlers doing what they do best. Ultimo Guerrero raise the roof because you are as great as ever!"

[8.0] "[4.0*] What a special match. This kind of lucha libre experience can never stop existing, man. Sold-out Arena Mexico, 18.000 strong, Blue Panther and Ultimo Guerrero taunting the crowd, Mascara Dorada doing the craziest things ever... this is real, this is important, this is culture. I love CMLL, it's my favorite promotion right now and my favorite matches aren't those with the coolest moves or fastest pacing, but the ones that feel most important and have the best atmospheres. This is a less impressive match than the Komander/Hologram tag one, but did you look at this crowd? ! They're erupting! This feels HUGE. The Kemonito little 1-on-1 after the bell was just so wonderful too, I loved everything about this one."

[9.0] "I'm not deep into lucha yet--heck, I'm not even surface level. I've seen some modern stuff, but out of all that, this one is easily the best I've watched so far. Sure, there are still moments where the spots don't make much sense--and I know I'm not supposed to watch lucha with a purely logical mindset--but sometimes it's just so obvious that it takes me out of it. But that said, this one stood out because it actually had psychology. I mean, you've got old-school wrestlers involved, so of course they know the craft. There's just something different about them--maybe it's their body language, maybe it's their aura. There's a certain energy they bring, and as soon as they start doing something, I find myself getting fully invested. Early in the match, when the heels started working over the babyfaces, I legitimately got pissed off--and guess who were involved in that spot? The veterans. Probably their idea. They know what they're doing. In contrast, most modern guys just feel like they're out there to do cool moves and flips. Not just that one early moment, but throughout the match, the heel work was top-tier. They didn't even do anything radically new--just classic old-school heat spots. And it worked! There's just something about these old timers. The way they carry themselves--the energy they bring--it just hits different. When modern wrestlers try the same thing, it often doesn't feel believable. I just don't buy it. The structure of the match was old-school too, especially how the first fall ended-- build up followed by quick high spots and then quick pin. The second fall, though? Brilliant. Pure heel dominance. Amazing psychology. It felt like they were straight-up torturing the heroes--and I loved it (from a third person perspective of course). Very old-school in tone. After that fall, I didn't just like the match--I loved it. I always say: if you're going to do silly, over-the-top stuff, at least immerse me so deeply that I don't even notice the illogic. And this match got close to doing just that. Maybe I'd still nitpick some things if I ever rewatch, but the psychology and character dynamics were so strong that I got totally lost. Brilliant stuff. ****"

[10.0] "Third fall may have been a minute shorter (though the finishing stretch picked up right when I felt like the match started to miss it's peak), but overall, I think, this is THE match to show any non-CMLL fan who's curious about the promotion and their Friday Night shows. Los Guerreros were perfect rudos, tecnicos' shine and comebacks were tremendous (somehow Blue Panther fit like a glove while teaming up with Dorada and Neon, I was amazed with how he made it work), and the crowd was into the match every step of the way. Outside of big matches with big stakes, it really doesn't get much better than this. ****1/2+"

[6.0] "This was a very fun match but the overall match quality is not as strong as its strongest parts in my opinion. Mascara Dorada and Neon are easily the strongest element in this match, their in ring ability is unparalleled and they pulled of some truly physics defying stuff here. Los Guerreros also had a fairly good showing, while Ultimo Guerrero was a bit exposed here, he and Gran Guerrero's monkey flip into avalanche falcon arrow was amazing both when its executed and reversed. Blue Panther also pulled of a clean suicide dive at the age of 64 so props to him. Obviously this match was full of great spots but the structure around it just felt clunky. I've never been a fan of lucha style 2 out of 3 falls as it kind of just makes the first 2 falls feel not very competitive. This was quite glaring in the second fall as in between big spots the age of the performers became quite apparent, often bumbling around the ring with weak strikes and poor selling. There's also the strange inclusion of Kemalito and Kemanito who clearly had one spot planned and what seemed to be an improvised stare down that went nowhere. Having them as such a non factor in the match made me question if I was even watching the right match. This is no doubt a fun match but there's just too many glaring issues with this match to give the same praise that everyone else here is"

[8.0] "All six guys brought something distinctive to this one and it made for a wonderfully eclectic vibe. The rudos stuck to their traditional remit of cut-offs, concrete-fisted beatdowns and sturdy base work, while Sky Team delivered the flawless, jaw dropping acrobatics and Panther rolled back the years with an incredibly light-footed showing ****"
