[4.0] "I hated this, honestly. Juluis Creed (the giant monster athlete the likes we haven't seen in a while) is having to do athletic moves and flips against the tiny veteran Rey. Some really lovely moves pulled off, and sometimes good cutting off by Creed, but overall it felt too fat fetched. Creed clearly can do way more and he's not super coordinated and looks awkward in body control department. Rey is always cool, the man is marvelous. But this match and the result is a clear indication of how badly WWE treat Creeds."
[6.0] "[3.0*] I thought this match was fun! Pretty safe-worked so Rey wouldn't be injured before Mania (unfortunately he is now injured, idk why would you make him wrestle twice before the biggest event of the year) but the David vs Goliath dynamic was very well executed. Good TV."
[7.0] "A good match is already impressive when a young luchador does aerial acrobatic movements, it's even more so when it's Rey Mysterio who is no longer young. I really liked that Julius carried Rey while walking. At the end, Americano intervenes. The match is good for Americano Mysterio. The one who gets screwed in the story is Gable who will not have a match at WrestleMania even though he deserves it. Cagematch must stop trolling, we know that Gable and Americano are two different people, Gable has already said it. I hope we will have proof at WrestleMania."
[8.0] "Good big man vs little man dynamic. Rey is still moving really well despite his age, and Creed was a good opponent with his mix of power and athleticism. Glad they sent all the others to the back early. The delayed suplex carried up the ring steps was impressive. Overall a very good match."
[6.0] "why is rey wrasslin with a shirt when he had a classic with xavier woods earlier this year and he didn't wear one ... match was okay, julius looked great, but man I can't help but be angry that Dragon Lee is not the one facing chad gable at wm. Rey is pushing 60 dawg what are we doing"
[8.0] "This was great. Your classic big man little man dynamic. Julius showing off his strength/power and Rey still flying around using his speed like it's 2006. Awesome match. ****"
[7.0] "Julius Creed is good. He is super tall too, damn. He must be very giddy inside wrestling a legend like Rey. I wouldn't be surprised if he was the one who set up the match cause it definitely does look like it. Something a fan would do. The suplex spot would have been even better if he executed it. Him leaping on to the top rope then catching Rey only to get hit with a ddt, what a sequence. A really good match which showed off the legend at the same time showcased Julius as a singles competitor. That's 2 out 2 in clean finishes."
[7.0] "I try to rate matches on weither they accomplished what they set out to accomplish. In this case it was a succes in my book. The match itself wasn't a great spectacle or anything and it wasn't meant to be. We don't see Mysterio wrestle super often so having a reminder that he's still got it is quite good. The finish saw El Grande Americano interfere with his loaded forehead which I like as a gimmick. I'm looking forward to their match at wrestlemania more than I did before the match. I'd say that's mission completed."
[8.0] "Julius Creed finally had a singles match on RAW and this was a fun one. Rey Mysterio and Julius Creed had very good chemistry in this match. American Made and LWO were ejected ringside but it didn't stop one man in El Grande Americano who came out to aid Julius Creed but it didn't work out as Rey Mysterio got the upper hand and delivered the 619 for the win. Afterward, they jumped Rey Mysterio and tried to lay him out. I enjoyed this match and the build for Rey Mysterio vs. El Grande Americano at WrestleMania. Great stuff by everyone."
[8.0] "A strong match which was more of a momentum build, I really hope that this leads to Gable straying away from LWO post-Mania as that is beneath him, Rey even at 50 makes me believe that the Mania match will shed some resemblance to Kurt vs Mysterio at SummerSlam 02."
[8.0] "A couple of rough spots early on, but Creed and Mysterio bounced back quickly. Their chemistry clicked, and by the end, the crowd in Sacramento was chanting "this is awesome" which were well deserved. Rey at 50 still moves someone half his age."
[8.0] "They gave Americano some momentum before the big match, but more importantly, Rey proved he's still got it at 50 in a fantastic showing. The gimmick isn't really landing for me, but I'd have no complaints if Rey ends up unmasking Americano at WrestleMania, either way, it's bound to be a great match."
