[7.0] "This was another good match between Gulak and Kushida, they didn't reach the second gear I was waiting for to put a bigger rating but it was still a solid outing better than their EVOLVE bout they had later in the year. It was obvious that giving the Submission match stipulation to these two excellent technicians was going to be a success, and even though it was rather short it was obviously a qualitative match with everything I look for in a Gulak vs Kushida: counters, strikes, stiff sequences, lots of submissions (logical given the stipulation) and good body targetting from both. I'm sure they could give us an even better match than the two they had in 2019, Kushida is currently Cruiserweight champion and Gulak is without a program, so why not a chapter 3 between these two ? Anyway, this match was fun for what it was, it was ten minutes of very interesting action, all under a crowd that was totally into it. Very cool stuff."

[9.0] "Awesome wrestling match, using a submission that gave it a special flavor and made it stand out while remaining beautifully simple, a true wrestl;ing clinic that did not need much resources, just the talent of these two wrestlers who were simply amazing to witness."

I didn't like the pinning section of the match, it was rather moronic after the first pin attempt and Mauro being his usual awful self with references that don't make sense (Frye v Takayama for example) but the rest ruled. Great grappling and feeding for submissions. ***1/2"

Like I said, I think the problem here is the length, KUSHIDA didn't do much damage to Gulak's arm, and one Hoverboard Lock was enough to defeat him. That's normal in WWE, but I'm really used to see wrestlers focusing on their target beforing making them tap. ****"

The feel of urgency rises as it goes on too, as they start busting out strikes & bombs in addition of the constant search for the potential match ending submission. Very good outing & neat post-match, too."

[8.0] "Good submission match. Kushida worked on Gulak's arm, Gulak as master of submission, worked on him. For 10 minutes, wrestlers show not only a submissions, but also Kushida showed that he was not only a techiker, but also a high-flyer. As a result, we received a fair victory of Kushida, which will lead him further to the top of the NXT"
