[6.0] "The storyline of the match was that if either of them lost, they would be humiliated in front of their opponent. Aaron Solo and Jay Lethal also interfered and the match ended in favor of Jarrett with a good ending. It also had a good sequence and their dancing in the middle of the match made the match much more interesting. Because it was a fun match."
[4.0] "A decent match for a kickoff, which is undoubtedly the best place for these two wrestlers whom we like to see for their character and story more than for their in-ring quality, although they're not totally out of their depth. In-ring quality: 1/4. Stakes: 0.5/2. Justification: 0.5/1. Place on the card: 0.5/1. Suspense: 0.25/1. Bonus/Malus: None. Total: 3.75/10. Match seen on the AEW Youtube channel."
[6.0] "Decent matchup that showed some extra flashy stuff from QT and a nice little finish from Jeff Jarrett, Match more important for the announcement afterwards backstage, **3/4"
[6.0] "That was a bit of a sloppy match but given Jarret's age that was absolutely predictable; anyways they quite tried hard to deliver and enjoyable match and infact it wasn't bad by any mean and it was way better than the opener. Overall what you would expect by this pairing. ***"
[6.0] "Very fun match for the zero hour, QT Marshall is in a really cool moment, after the surprisingly excellent match against Big Boom AJ, he's capitalizing well on the momentum and keeping the hot streak going on, with this whole heel persona that brings the 'doom' to his opponents. The crowd was heavily invested in this match, which is very nice to see, and they were interacting the whole time with the wrestlers. This match was very fun, and continued well the little story that began at ROH Final Battle, with Aaron Solo running in and grabbing the guitar, but being hindered by Jay Lethal. Jeff Jarrett won the match, after a solid performance by him as well, and deservingly so he received 'you still got it' chants - {**3/4}"
