[9.0] "I enjoyed this match a lot more than the one in Arena Mexico. Where that one felt slow this one was paced much better. Tons of hard hitting moves, and big reactions from the crowd. Atlantis jr should try to get more matches on AEW TV. If they could've had this match in Arena Mexico but have Atlantis Jr win, it would probably get a 10 from me. Awesome stuff."
[7.0] "This is mostly a Kyle Fletcher showcase, but they deliver some excitement along the way. That includes a few Atlantis Jr. hope spots in the closing stretch, but Fletcher shines bright in the process, turning in a polished heel performance. They go a little far on the comeback for my money, but it's a crowd-pleaser nonetheless. ***1/4"
[7.0] "Another great match on the card here without a whole lot of meaning to it. Two great wrestlers came together to produce a pretty great match, not too much more to ask for from a TV match."
[8.0] "Starmaking match for Fletcher for me. Pure evil. Loved how brutal he was with Atlantis Jr. and loved how gnarly those brainbusters were. My pick for match of the night by far."
"Match of the night for me, but Ricochet vs AR Fox isnt far behind. Both match perfectly in the ring, and giving the win to Fletcher with such intensity and savagery is perfect to establish him before his match against Ospreay."
[6.0] "The opener just about edges this one out as match of the night for me, but Kyle Fletcher is clearly becoming one of the more consistently great performers in AEW. The history between he and Atlantis Jr. in Mexico made this feel pretty important with Atlantis earning two pinfalls over Fletcher, one of which being for the ROH Television Title. Fletcher showed intensity and savagery, ripping the mask nearly completely off at one point. Atlantis had a lot of fire, kicking out of some major power moves by Fletcher, but that final tiger driver was too much, and Fletcher continues to impress, especially now that he is fully dedicated as a heel. (***1/4)"
"I thought this was a great match that really exceeded my expectations (which weren't necessarily low to begin with.) Atlantis is a good white meat babyface who got the fans to root for him, despite likely being unknown to most of them. Fletcher is very physical and dynamic. I like the end of the match as I don't think that's Kyle's finisher. It makes it easier to suspend disbelief for false finishes with endings like that"
[8.0] "Boy, Kyle Fletcher has just gotten to a level I never thought he'd get to. Atlantis Jr is a fantastic wrestler, has such a natural babyface charm to him and a great babyface moveset. Good story coming into this iwth Atlantis Jr.'s previous wins against Kyle Fletcher and this being part of his leveling up in the post-Ospreay turn that Fletcher's had. They had a moment in this match that was the really special part with counter upon counter upon counter, the brainbuster on the top rope hitting the turnbuckle is fucking brutal, and everything they did in here was just really fucking good, simple storytelling of going for moves too many times and getting caught, nothing too wild but when something is executed perfectly despite its simplicity, that's a really good match."
"Not as good as their CMLL match but as far as things go, a pretty good showing from both sides. Atlantis can be the hot babyface everywhere in the world and Kyle Fletcher looks like a beast after bulking up and doing something about Will Ospreay. A great showing from both, tune down just a little bit over Kyle's comic selling which... sucks? But other than that, this match was great and it allowed people to understand the transformation Kyle is going to go through, as he takes his first steps already. 3.75*"
[7.0] "Atlantis Jr. has natural babyface charisma and Fletcher was a good heel so obviously the match was good. The action was entertaining, Fletcher's offense looked great and Atlantis had enough offense to make the match competitive. They did some cool stuff, Atlantis hit a destroyer and Fletcher hit a brainbuster on the top rope which got him the win. 7/10 - 3.75*/5*"
[7.0] "A good match right here, not as good as their CMLL one but it was a different context and not at all the same competitive action for obvious reasons given Fletcher's recent turn. It was a good way to give him a rematch against Atlantis while kicking off this new run. The action was really fun with some good stuff, Atlantis is a great babyface."
