[8.0] "Really fun episode of Smokey Mountain Wrestling, with some good matches in here as well as a lot of funny moments and one-liners."

[6.0] "Pretty good episode with Hooter's girls making an appearance fawning over what would eventually be the Heavenly Bodies. Also, the only in-ring tandem of all three members of The Fantastics, as Tommy Rogers makes a one-off appearance."

[5.0] "Although Hooters did not allow us to see Jim Cornette's new team in a very entertaining segment, this week's episode of Smoky Mountain wrestling produced a decent and action packed affair. The matches were good and especially the two main events that delivered."

[6.0] "Possibly the best show yet purely from an in-ring standpoint. We didn't get much of Ron Wright this time, but the workrate made up for it. Gibson had a solid showing, Hector brought his quicker, more unique style again, and Holly continued to look impressive against Miller. The tag title tournament kicked off - not a technical masterpiece, but Victory and Morgan held up well as heels. The main event was one of the better ones in SMW so far, and despite The Koloffs not appearing, The Wild Bunch felt like a big upgrade. Great pace and a really fun way to close out the show."

[7.0] "The singles matches were fine. Especially Hectors match. Bob Holly continues to impress as well. But the tag team matches really shine here. Im already into the tag team title tournament. Some teams I recognize, some I dont, but it all looks exciting. Im also gonna assume that Cornettes mystery team is the Midnight Express. Speaking of Cornette, his segment at (Hooters? ) was hilarious lmao. Overall, definitely a good show."

[7.0] "I thought this was a really good, and so far my personal favourite episode of Smoky Mountain TV. Hector Guerrero vs Keith Hart was my favourite thing on this show; even though it was short it was a really fun and fast paced match. Jim Cornette had a really fun segment with his team reveal fake out. The tag title tournament started on this show; with the brackets being revealed. We also got the first match of the tournament, which was unfortunately my least favourite part of this show. The Wild Butch got a great video package introduction and then took part in the main event as replacements for The Koloff's. He wasn't the smoothest talking but Tommy Rogers could still go here. Fun episode."

[8.0] "This was a great show. The tag team tournament begins in a great fashion. First, the Match between the Maulers and the Riches was cool, the Maulers are a good heel team. And then the main event get me engaged for next week as we'll see The Wild Bunch against the Fantastics. Hector Guerrero has another good match with other agile wrestler. Bob Holly's squash was fine. The main event was the best match. Even if the Koloffs weren't there, their feud continue as Golden and the Wild Bunch get lots of heat for next weeks show. This new tag team really impressed me, I think it was a right call to show am AJPW tape to get hyped for them and then having them as a surpraise on the main event. They are a good heel team with some incredible moves, so next week's match with the Fantastics should be cool. Cornette skit on Hooters was fun."

[7.0] "Smoky Mountain Wrestling is finally legitimate. This show was the first to have the vibe, the atmosphere and an all round buzz with the crowd amped. The highlight real for The Wild Bunch from Japan was a nice surprise. First few matches were just your run of the mill squash matches. Gibson vs Cazana was worked well. Hector Guerrero vs Keith Hart was OK. Bob Holly is really growing week by week, and showed more confidence in his display over Paul Miller. The tag team tournament match was a pleasure, with a great pop for The Riches and a great finish. The Maulers are a real talented bunch. While the main event lived up to the hype and was a great display with a good twist angle to build up a 2nd feud for The Fantastics ahead of the their tournament match vs The Wild Bunch. With no lull and a great opening event for the tag team tournament, best show so far. 6.5*"

[7.0] "Gibson vs. Cazana: A typical sqush to showcase the wrestler. Cazana got too much offense (WAY too much) in tho. (*) / Hector vs. Keith: Nice competitive mini spots-show which showcase the two wrestlers very well but Hector is the one coming out of this match looking as good as ever before. (**½) / Holly vs. Miller: Young Hardcore Holly is growing on me, his charisma is on another level here. (*¼) / The Maulers vs. The Riches: Solid tournament match with the right team (I guess) advancing. (**½) / Fantastics & Rogers vs. Golden & Wild Bunch: This was an energetic six man tag which help set up the tag title tournament match and extend the feud between The Fantastics and Jimmy Golden & The Koloffs. (***) / Overall: Best show thus far. The tag title tourney was a nice little surprise considering I was expecting it to happen next week but not this week. Lots of solid and good wrestling as well combine with some nice little promos and segments. The Cornette's reveal despite being a bit disappointing help continue building the heat toward the reveal. Great show. Next week: Tag Title Tourney Continues!"

[8.0] "Awesome show, remained entertaining throughout the entire hour. Though short, every match was entertaining, and the crowd was seemed more into them than in weeks past. We got a nice highlight reel of AJPW footage also (featuring Kenta Kobashi! ). Three live shows and eight weeks of television in, Smoky Mountain no longer feels like a start up promotion, it's a legitimate product."

[8.0] "The best episode so far, if undeniably messy. All the matches were good, with both the main event and the Bob Holly squash a contender for SMW's best match to date. Cornette continued mounting the tension with his mystery tag team (never thought I'd praise an angle featuring Hooters but there you go), the main event swerve was genuinely exciting. If the tag matches were a little more refined I might be inclined to go as high as a 9, but as it stands it was still an excellent and ceaselessly entertaining episode of wrasslin' television. Recommended."
