"After listening to the Deadlock podcast talk about this episode, I had to watch it, and it did not disappoint. The best part has to be the Sid and Bill Goldberg video package with Nash narrating. If you haven't watched this show, go into it with the lowest expectations and you will have the best time"
[6.0] "This may be the funniest wrestling show ever due to Kevin Nash's commentary. The matches weren't good, but Nash is hilarious on the broadcast, which is kinda sad if you think of professional wrestling in the bigger picture. The ol' glory Thunder episode!"
[8.0] "While the matches and storylines in this show weren't particularly noteworthy, this episode was significant for Kevin Nash's role as a commentator. Nash straight up shooting on wrestlers and just not giving a single fuck in this show was hysterical and was the true highlight for me. I'm honestly surprised he wasn't offered a part-time/occasional spot on commentary where he would shoot on everybody. That would've single-handedly saved WCW."
[9.0] "So this is the famous Kevin Nash shoot commentary edition of WCW Thunder. I'm surprised no-one has rated it yet. Let me justify the 9: no, none of the matches were anything particularly good on this show. None of the storylines were particularly interesting either, this was WCW booking itself into the toilet. But what this show features is 2 hours of drunk Kevin Nash not giving a single fuck, full of in jokes, shoot references, making himself laugh and making fun of the product the whole time. He's making a mockey of the action in front of him. So I'm rating it based on my personal enjoyment, which is what a personal rating should be - I enjoyed this a lot. I enjoyed it more than a show with some pretty good matches on, because we get those all the time. You'll forget it by next week. You won't forget this show."
