"I don't understand how Excalibur is hyping that hechicero could be the this and that champion heading into wrestledrem... DAWG... he's booked for fantasticamania in London against Liam slater. Cmon aew let's get on the same page as the rest of the world. He's not gonna be a t wrestledream. So to the casual viewer that only sees aew as an alternative to wwe they aren't in the know but to THE REST OF US you're seriously underestimating our intelligence. I stopped watching after that. That killed it for me. I did go back and warxh and it was a great match but the continuity between feds and angles is so screwed up. They did nothing to hype the tag match in cmll tonight between persephone n Britt against tessa and rosa.... what are we doing here guys.... these relationships are for more than talent exchanges. I can't watch guys heels in one fed but faces in the other but they still reppong the same faction shits confusing to me so I can see how casuals get turned off. MAKE IT MAKE SENSE. Why hype the possibily of hechicero being at wrestledream when he's advertised for revpro this weekend.... good show otherwise I suppose...."

[3.0] "Two predictable qualifying matches that offered little opportunity for the underdogs to shine, sandwiched around a women's tag team match that clumsily set up a four-way bout for the PPV. Fortunately, there were a few nice segments (Mox, The Young Bucks, Wayne, Aminata) that made the hour more enjoyable, even if nothing truly stood out. Those in the know might have caught a brief clip that spoiled a surprise for Saturday, while the episode concluded with a highly predictable all-out brawl. Match quality: 2/6.5. Non-match segments/angles: 1.5/3.5. Bonus/penalty: none. Total: 3.5/10. Show watched via MyAEW."

[7.0] "An actual good 3rd hour of an AEW televised broadcast! When they started these 3 hour shows last year, the end would always be underwhelming. This 3rd hour and the ending angle were actually great and helped build towards the PPV. I know the build was rushed due to PAC's death (God Bless his Soul) and Grand Slam France, but still fine. Honestly speaking, the half hour overrun was unnecessary, just host Collision on Thursdays if that's what it's gonna be."

[6.0] "Dude, TK, im asking for one, just ONE surprise result, every single clockwork carnage match has been the results everyone expected, and idk why make some of their matches for the titles if that only makes it worse Darby Hechicero for example, i love hechicero and i really want him to do good but AEW has been treating him as the one who eats the pin in the DCF and now suddendly you make a match where he goes against "Facethatneverloses" and make it worse by making it for the TNT Title which removes any semblance of hechicero maybe winning, and then he dominates the whole match but suddendly darby remembers he has to win so 3 easily dodgeables coffin drops and hechi is out Same with Rico Ace, it could have been ace austin easily and it would have been cool since we know he ain't winning the clockwork carnage, but nah, the predictable result, im sure ricochet will be great as i am sure everyone who qualified for the carnage will be but still the buildup feels rough because of this predictability Dani Luna Hyan and Perse were the only things that made me smile this Collision, they're great and im sure that 4 way at Wrestledream will be fucking great and i can't wait to watch it"

[2.0] "Sometimes these long shows have a good dynamite portion thus allowing the poorer collision portions easier to digest. However this was not one of those nights. It's an hour show of two predictable qualifiying matches and a weak women's match and there is not much else to note here. Wrestledream build has been absolutely terrible, probably the least excited I've been heading into a ppv for a while."

[8.0] "Thought this was pretty clearly the better of the two shows, weird that it's got a lower rating so far, the first two matches were about the standard of everything on Dynamite while the main event was a cut above everything on either show, clearly the match of the night. Fun closing segment but if they never go back to Ohio it will be too soon though, always a shit crowd, drag everything down and a terrible choice for a go home show."

[5.0] "In a vacuum the "collision" episode was kinda whatever, but this was attached to another 2 hours of aew dynamite which was not good. Really tanks it. Match of the night including Dynamite was Darby vs Hechicero"

[5.0] "An average episode of Collision even though it was just one hour following Dynamite, Kyle Fletcher/Kevin Knight and The Young Bucks interview segment was not interesting as just featured Fletcher and Knight with Don Callis talking before the Young Bucks came in to lay out their challengers, Nick Wayne and Jericho segment was average which set up another match for WrestleDream this weekend. Ricochet vs Ace Austin: Austin is being made to look weak with yet another loss to Ricochet, the match did have a back and forth dynamic which was fairly alright but the outcome could have been different [**3/4]. Dani Luna & Hyan vs Dr. Britt Baker DMD & Persephone: The match was not that interesting except for Luna pinning Britt which was good to see, Britt and Persephone kept trying to cheat and it backfired like the ending [**]. Darby Allin vs Hechicero: Their different styles clashed well enough to make this compelling and Allin was clearly not 100% and Hechicero tried to use that to his advantage which backfired and Allin getting the win was the right choice here [***3/4]"
