[7.0] "A show with a lot of filler which was saved by its last Teo matches, especially the main-event. ***1/2"

I didn't completely hate the Junior Tag finals, either, but it says a lot that one of the most memorable parts of the entire undercard was a brief post-match scuffle between Newman and Yuto-Ice. There's just so much filler on a card like this. New Japan could do with a few more genuine tentpole shows throughout the year."

[5.0] "This felt more like a house show rather than the last PPV-level card of New Japan's year that Power Struggle usually fills, which is unfortunate for Tana's final show in his hometown. While Goto vs. Takeshita certainly delivered, it can't carry the rest of the rather dull card."

[6.0] "A middling undercard and midcard with a merely OK semi-main and main event. Yuto-Ice continues to be the lone bright spot."

A LOT OF PEOPLE IN THE EAST AND WEST ARE SICK OF THIS SHIT HEAP OF A FACTION! You see how NOAH has basically begun the downfall of Team2000X with Morris getting ousted due to a miscue, and DAGA getting sick of them bullying a kid DO THAT NJPW! COME UP WITH A STORY LINE WHERE MEMBERS OF HOT BEGIN TO HAVE THE SCALES PULLED OFF THEIR EYES AND BEGIN TO SEE EVIL FOR WHAT HE REALLY IS, AN INSECURE, SHORT SIGHTED IDIOT WHO CAN DO NOTHING ON HIS OWN AND DECIDE TO EITHER OUST HIM OR DITCH HIM"

[7.0] "Both main events delivered the goods, with Tanahashi turning back the clock in one of his final big matches. And there was some to get excited about with the ascension of Tsuji and Ice. That being said, he undercard was skippable, the Super Junior Tag Finals were a disappointing end and there wasn't as much build to Wrestle Kingdom as one might hope."
