[3.0] "30 minutes of wrestling on a 2 hours show with half of it being during commercial breaks so we only saw like 16 minutes of wrestling, that sucks. No one wants to see Nia Tiffany and Jade in the same ring, Fraxiom are complete jobbers now, the Brock segment was pointless, the contract signing was very underwhelming, Carmelo vs Zayn is the only thing worth watching. And the Miz was awful on commentary"

[6.0] "Ummm... does anyone know who won LeRae vs Vega? Just wondering as a big Zelina fan and a WWE roster data nerd. As for the rest: Women's Tag was decent and I hope Piper is okay, Vision vs Fraxiom was straight-up insulting, and Sami vs Melo was a good match with a bad ending. I liked the Truth ESPN App segment... the first time; after that it became annoying and laughable that it even had to exist; seriously WWE/ESPN, fix that. Glad to see Corey being cleared to take bumps after 11 years. Cody/Drew segment was, as usual with both of their promos, a rehash of what they've already said hundreds of times. There was an interesting angle at the end with Drew not kicking Cody's head in to preserve the matchup only for Cody to be the one to lose his cool and dive after him. Welcome back Kit Wilson... and he just went through a wall courtesy of "It's Wepa Time" (dumbest merch design ever). Women's Title preview promo was the epitome of mid and I hope Tiffy isn't concussed like many are speculating because I'd love to see the undefeated Stratton take on wins leader Vaquer. Wyatts/Profits interactions continue to get more interesting but this NEEDS to be paid off soon. Lastly, the dark tag match must've been fire with the names that were involved."

I liked parts with Lesnar on this show, when he again was unstopabble and retrospective video also was intresting. The main segment with Cody and Drew was good. Everething else are just ok and emotionally I can't felt this."

[5.0] "The September 19, 2025 edition of Friday Night SmackDown was another long line of forgettable shows on a Friday Night. My biggest issue with this show were some weak promos, weak matches (other than the main event), ESPN advertisements in our face and a lot of segments closing up the second half. The Contract Signing was good so was Hayes vs. Zayn and a decent opening with Brock destroying Graves. Overall, just kind of a bland show with some key moments. [**3/4]"

"It was a really bad go home show. Good thing I was there live so it made the show a little better but looking back through it, I skipped more than I watched. Only good thing that had me interested was Melo vs Sami"

What content existed outside of the Ad Breaks, was poorly performed and written promo segments and a repeated and extended boomer style tech support for the ESPN app. The final insult was taking Corey Graves off of commentary and polluting this car crash of a show with The Miz. I'm angry at myself for not turning off at that point. Awful show in a string of some of the worst go home shows of the Levesque era. Boring as f**k."

"Overall it was an okay show, pretty good matches, and decent to hyping up Wrestlepalooooooza. And despite Cody being busy during this period, filming for the Street Fight movie, just having the simplest segment of a contract signing, it gets interesting to looking for the match. They could building up the Lesnar/Cena match with just those well video packages of their history, even an interview, cause this two segments appearance of Brock looked very annoyed and non sensical for the actual match. Still mad about R-Truth Killings that he go back on doing what it usually do, tha funny guy who everybody loves, just now teach you how to watch the ple on ESPN, I'm fine but all that moment a few months ago and then nothing happened going forward."

"[6/10] The first couple of minutes of the Women's tag titles match without any announcers were way too hard to watch. Melo/Sami match was good."

[6.0] "It was an okay episode this week. The last couple of weeks felt stronger from top to bottom, but there were still some highlights. Sami Zayn vs. Carmelo Hayes was easily the standout match, marking the third week in a row where Zayn delivered a high-quality contest with the US Title on the line. The rest of the card was mostly average TV fare. Brock Lesnar destroying Corey Graves was unexpected, but it further cements him as a dominant heel and a legitimately intimidating presence. His build toward Wrestlepalooza against John Cena is on point, though it would have been more impactful if both had appeared on the same show. Drew McIntyre gaining the upper hand on Cody Rhodes during their contract signing segment was predictable, though it was a solid segment, and I expect Cody to come out on top at Wrestlepalooza."

[5.0] "After two very good SDs, we were treated to a very average SD. The opening segment is uninteresting. The Cena/Lesnar feud is clearly in the top 3 worst feuds of the year. The women's tag team is average but not bad either. The Profits/Howdy segment was good for teasing the tensions between Ford and Dawkins. Fraxiom/Bron's was okay, I would have preferred a different team than the Bron's since they didn't give their best due to their match at WrestlePalooza. Zayn/Hayes was cool, Melo got support from the crowd, which I loved. Nia Jax's promo was okay but nothing more, but it shows once again the lack of ambition in the booking at the top of the card. The triple threat will be good. The final segment is nice. Drew saying that Cody is a corporate guy who will be replaced by someone else and who will turn Cody into a Drew McIntyre is very cool. Cody saying that Drew is a keyboard warrior is good. The biggest downside of this show is the countless number of adverts. The R Truth segments annoyed me; they might as well not bring him back if that's what they're going to do. In 2025, we know how to sign up for a platform. Now WrestlePalooza."

[4.0] "Not a good episode of Smackdown and it doesn't did much to make Wrestlepalooza more interesting. There were just 3 matches on the show and 2 of them were a bit short. Brock Lesnar ist doing the same stuff he always do, i didn't miss him"
Eagleupabove wrote on 20.09.2025:
"[5/10] A very mediocre SD with only 3 matches and far too many ads. Women's tag match was alright if not incredibly predictable. Decent USC match; Sami will be holding this title for a while. Glad to see some Fraxiom screen time, despite the telegraphed loss. Where is the rest of the tag division - the shining beacon of SD? Giulia needs a pivot, and pronto; this mid card vortex has taken all the wind out of her sails."
RagingRowen wrote on 20.09.2025:
"4.5/10. Matches were fine I suppose, but I struggled to pay attention and the main issue was the pacing, namely with replaying the Brock segment highlights twice with one happening literally minutes after, all the darn 'how to watch on ESPN' tutorial, the R-Truth ones were novel I guess, but they played the same Cody one twice in one show. Plus you have the other issue which is struggling to find time for talent. Once again the RAW-on-Netflix format where you don't have the DOOT DOOT DOOT adbreaks they can fill with interviews or misc segments like in-ring pre-match promos would greatly benefit SD."

[6.0] "This was supposed to be a fun episode from what I saw on the card, but the Main Event Match was the most exciting watch from this episode of SmackDown, as Carmelo Hayes and Sami Zayn tore the house down. They have something for that story with Carmelo Hayes's quest for the WWE United States Title. The Main Event Contract Signing was solid, and the chaos added more fuel for WWE Wrestlepalooza."
