[5.0] "A few points. This show took me three nights to get through, it dragged and it's a common problem with BritWres with me. There are some really high points and I think generally speaking, the wrestling is higher quality than in the American independent scene however, there is just a void of charisma in so much of the card. I usually just watch a match or two rather than the whole card when it comes to TNT, Progress or really any British card and this reminded me why. An injury in the co-main and most matches dragging also don't help. Negatives out of the way, though. Jacobs' first deathmatch was a success, Darwin is over and the main event was a pretty good time. **1/2."
[10.0] "TNT: FUSION - Best Show Yet? Still trying to process everything from this one, to be honest. Might've been the best TNT show we've been to. Let's go through it... VIP Kicked Off Strong First up, we did the meet & greet with Cocaine - top vibes, great photos, always a belter way to start the night. Then, the dark match got a twist. What was supposed to be Nadjei vs Judas Grey turned into a triple threat with Scotty Rawk added in! VIP exclusive too. Absolute banger to start us off - felt like a main card match if I'm honest. Connor Mills vs Michael Oku Wasn't expecting this to open the main show, but wow - great surprise. We knew it'd be quality, and it delivered. Mills getting the win was a shocker, but you kind of get the feeling Oku's about to level up and this is his way of giving everyone the rub before then. Class match. TNT Women's Title - Lana Austin (c) vs Lucy Sky vs Session Moth Martina Bit chaotic, bit messy, but fun as hell. Lana kept the belt thanks to a bit of miscommunication between Lucy and Martina, who honestly could have their own buddy sitcom at this point. Could happily watch this trio every week. No idea who's next for Lana -. Leonardo Darwin vs Cocaine - No DQ This is the one I was waiting for. I'm fully on the Darwinmania train - the bloke is the greatest wrestling mind in the UK right now. Came out in full Hogan mode: red and yellow, Immortal Leonardo Darwin, preaching about ridding Liverpool of its cocaine problem. Had us howling all the way through. Cocaine looked sharp too, hit all the right spots, and Gayne got involved which just made it better. Darwin hulked up, hit the big boot, then leg dropped off the top rope onto both. Won the match, shook hands, then dropped the bombshell: "The Kane stuff's done - I want Tate! " TNT Extreme Division Death Match - Emersyn Jayne (c) vs Luke Jacobs This was insane. The unannounced opponent was Luke bloody Jacobs. Crowd exploded. His first deathmatch and it was BRUTAL. Light tubes, doors, chaos - and Emersyn still retained. Luke was pure class after - thanked the crowd, showed respect, embraced Emersyn. Match of the night contender. TNT Women's Tag Titles - Experience (c) vs Pretty Psycho Skye & LA Taylor got the win, but Amira Blair keeps showing she's improving every time out. Zoe Lucas too. Match did what it needed to and hinted there's still more to come from Pretty Psycho. Ultra X Title - Che Monet (c) vs Adam Bolt Proper chaos. High octane, loads of ringside madness. Bolt jumped from the balcony! Unreal. Che picked up the win and properly lorded it over him after - this isn't over. Expecting a rematch and I'm well up for it. TNT Tag Titles - Temple of Malum (c) vs Act Two Bit of a downer here - looks like Jack Knudsen got injured early on. Temple pounced and destroyed Harland. Interesting moment where Rob Drake wanted Isaac North to go even harder, but North seemed hesitant. Could be cracks forming in the Temple? One to watch. TNT World Title - Tate Mayfairs (c) vs Man Like DeReiss What. A. Main. Event. MLD had the crowd fully behind him - we believed he had it. Ref bump chaos, Darwin runs down, puts on a ref shirt... counts the three and we go mad... BUT it's a fakeout! Darwin twats MLD and reveals he's now aligned with Tate? ! What is happening? ! We are doomed. Final Thoughts No exaggeration - this might've been the best TNT show I've been to. Darwinmania is in full swing, Fusion is a banging venue, and the atmosphere was electric all night. Still buzzing. No clue how they top this... but I can't wait to find out."
