[6.0] "Decent matches the whole way down pretty much, with the only odd one out being the SHO vs. YOH match. Semi-main and main event were both good, but I couldn't help but feel the main event was a little disappointing personally. [MOTN: El Desperado vs. Nick Wayne]"

[7.0] "Good BOSJ overall, the last two matches were Fire and even though there were some misses especially about HoT most of the bouts were fast paced and quick so the show never dragged even though it featured 10 different singles matches which is a lot. ***1/2"

[8.0] "Best show of the tournament so far, aside from slowing down due to bad HOT antics and a boring Wato/Dia match, things picked up immidiately one Nick Wayne came out. Match of the night was probably Kevin Knight vs Robbie Eagles, I think it's safe to say its unlikely Knight's gonna have anything less than stellar matches this tournament."

[7.0] "The best night of the tour so far: Eagles/Knight, Despy/Wayne & Hiromu/Fujita all well worth watching"

[6.0] "Good day of block action, great day if you skip the correct fixtures. Akira and Mack was a fun opener for me, then the best match was Eagles and Knight. Disappointed by how MAO came across. The double main event felt epic without ever reaching into epic tier for me. Kevin Knight was the surprise performer of the night."

[7.0] "Titan vs Ryusuke Taguchi: I did not get this match at all, it went only 2 and a half minutes and was just not good, of course there would be comedy involved with Taguchi being in the match, nothing really went on and Titan getting the win [*]. Francesco Akira vs Ninja Mack: Another match on the card that went under 5 minutes considering Akira was in this one, expected so much but could not deliver due to the time constraints [*1/2]. Robbie Eagles vs Kevin Knight: What a match packed into just under 10 minutes, the action was consistent throughout, they match each other quite well and I rather enjoyed it [***3/4]. Robbie X vs KUSHIDA: It was a fine match, nothing special, a couple of maybe badly delivered moments, KUSHIDA's arm work was fine as usual [**]. MAO vs Taiji Ishimori: Not the cleanest of performances from these two, but the Korakuen Hall crowd seemed to be behind MAO, MAO getting the win against Ishimori was interesting to see [**1/2]. Yoshinobu Kanemaru vs Clark Connors: This was not a good match at all, mainly outside brawling and the count out win was clearly obviously gonna happen [DUD]. SHO vs YOH: HoT tactics and interferences hurt this match to the point of it being absurd, SHO winning was not surprising given YOH did not have a chance once EVIL and Yujiro Takahashi got involved [*3/4]. Master Wato vs Dragon Dia: A somewhat fine match, not much special happened, with Wato getting a win here against Dia, the action was as solid as it can be [**1/4]. Nick Wayne vs El Desperado: MOTN and potentially MOTT, they had great chemistry, there were some great selling of moves and they meshed great together, Wayne getting the surprise win was good to see [****1/2]. Kosei Fujita vs Hiromu Takahashi: Another potential MOTT, a banger of a main event from Korakuen Hall, Fujita winning was a surprise and Hiromu as per usual makes younger talent look good, solid action to end the show [****1/2]"

[9.0] "A really good show that delivered for me. It started off with a couple fun short matches that were bound to happen. Then one of the highlights of the night was the Robbie Eagles vs. Kevin Knight match that was really exciting, then the show kind of hits a stale for a period of matches, including some decent matches to some that were just not needed (I don't mind HoT generally BUT NOT TODAY GODDAMIT). Then i realised that the show has to come back to being exciting because of the last two matches looking promising, and boy i was right about it. Was not expecting to see such hardhitting and nerveracking matches today. The main event was my MOTY, might be biased but both Hiromu and Fujita are two of my favourite juniors so i don't really care."

[8.0] "This show was an absolute blast with several good to great matches. The Titan/Taguchi opener was a nice quick match that was expected after Taguchi had one of his better performances over the weekend (**1/4). Akira/Ninja told a solid story about Mack being more concerned with viral moments after the 10 flip moment and Akira taking advantage (***1/4). Eagles/Knight was the first great match of the night in a extremely well done sprint. They didn't waste any moment in this and told a wonderful story with some brilliant selling (***3/4). KUSHIDA/Robbie X was good w/a well executed sprint (***1/2). MAO/Ishimori had a very fun closing stretch to cap a rock solid bout (***1/2). Connors/Kanemaru felt more like an angle than a match (**1/2). SHO/YOH had enjoyable moments, but felt disjointed thanks to House of Torture nonsense (*3/4). Wato/Dia was a fun time that flowed well (***1/4). The final two matches elevated this entire show. Wayne/Desperado semi main event stole the show. An absolutely tremendous match w/Wayne pulling off the upset of the tournament so far. The storytelling, selling and closing stretch were all top notch. Just a superb bout that had Korakuen rocking (****1/2). The Fujita/Hiromu main event was terrific. Electric atmosphere, hard hitting in-ring action and an excellent closing stretch capped by Kosei pulling off another upset (****1/4)."

[3.0] "Four matches out of ten were good, and none of them were like, good to the point where I'd recommend watching it. Then there were three bad matches, one of which was one of the worst of the year. Then three mediocre matches. Like, it's fucking Korakuen Hall. What are we doing here? Seemed like almost everybody was having an off-night. BOSJ 10 block match cards are usually some of the easiest wrestling viewing in the world but I was bored for most of the show. Again, in KORAKUEN HALL! HOW?"

[9.0] "Easily show of the tournament so far. I had high expectations for it, as there were some matchups that I had circled since the blocks were announced (Robbie/Jet, Despe/Nick, Fujita/Hiromu, MAO/Taiji), and they all delivered. Stoked for the rest of the tournament - not saying I didn't enjoy last year's BOSJ, but this year feels like a major step up in match quality already. Great show and looking forward to tomorrow!"

[8.0] "Really fun second night of BOSJ. Titan vs Taguchi (DUD): Mostly comedy with nothing special happening. Wish these two could've had a better match with more time. Mack vs Akira (**): Again, wish this got more time because they had a really fun match last year but it was fine. Eagles vs Knight (****.25): Really entertaining and fun match with neat spots and good leg work. MAO vs Ishimori (***.75): Not as good as I hoped it would be but still fun and entertaining to watch. Kanemaru vs Connors (**.75): Nice brawl, Kanemaru got creative with his count out win and I think the tire spot is gonna be involved with most of Connors matches now. I did think it would go to a double count out but not surprised Kanemaru won. SHO vs YOH (*): Horrible match despite the history. One of the worst rivalries of the current generation. Wato vs Dia (***): Neat little sprint. Nothing too bad but nothing to go out of your way to watch. Wayne vs Desperado (****.5): Awesome match with great knee work and great selling, good action and a great finish. Fujita vs Hiromu (****.25): Only negative is that it should've went longer. Other then that an awesome main event that solidified Fujita as a main eventer for the Junior division."
