Alex Windsor was kicked out of the Cut Throat Collective after the opening match.
RevPro Hall Of Famer Jushin Thunder Liger watched the second match from ringside. He notably prevented Robbie X from attempting to take the title and attack Nino Bryant during the match.
The late James Castle and Mad Kurt were inducted into the Hall Of Fame during the show.
Sunshine Machine announced a surprise open challenge, which was answered by CRU.
[8.0] "Night 2 was the better of the night with the 3 last matches being very good. My favorite was ZSJ vs. Zozaya. The British Tag League match also helped this show be a very enjoyable one."
[9.0] "Better than Night 1: Global Wars UK as an overall event with two matches possibly could be MOTYC. Dani Luna, Kanji & Mercedes Mone vs Alex Windsor, Nina Samuels & Safire Reed: A solid match to open Night 2 of the Anniversary weekend, got a preview of Mone vs Windsor ahead of the four way at Forbidden Door the next day, some good team work from the winning trio, solid action from bell to bell [***]. Nino Bryant vs Robbie X: A solid match with the inclusion of Jushin Thunder Liger which was good to see, the action was slow to start with but picked up quite quickly and was solid for the most part [***]. Connor Mills & Jay Joshua vs 1 Called Manders & Thomas Shire: This was an old school style match which to see in 2025 was awesome to watch, a great match to end the tournament with Mills and Joshua picking up the win which was expecting Manders and Shire to win, they gave all they had and more for the 20 minutes they were given to compete in the ring [****]. Persephone vs Emersyn Jayne: Better match on this night for Persephone as she faced off with a better wrestler, Jayne didn't quite have a better match than the previous night, but the action was good to watch throughout with Persephone getting the win [***1/2]. Blue Panther, Danny Black, Joe Lando & Maverick Mayhew vs Hechicero, Kieron Lacey, Mark Trew & Will Kaven: A fun eight man tag match with a unique looking submission to end the match, all eight did what they needed to do and gave the crowd a match that did deliver [***1/2]. Yuya Uemura vs JJ Gale: Another win for Uemura on the Anniversary weekend, this time by defeating Gale in what was a somewhat interesting encounter with some good technical work from both men, I enjoyed this one more than I thought [***1/2]. Action Andretti & Lio Rush vs Chuck Mambo & TK Cooper: This was not good, it was boring and should have not happened even though it was not scheduled it was made there and then [*]. Zack Sabre Jr vs Zozaya: An instant classic match that was one of the better matches I have seen from Zozaya, ZSJ showed that he could wrestle Zozaya in a technical clinic and they both put on one of the better matches on the Anniversary weekend [*****]. Leon Slater vs Michael Oku: Another match that was an instant classic with Slater getting the win here for the first time in RevPro over Oku, two of the best independent wrestlers in the world showing for just over 30 minutes that they can go out and have an absolute banger of a match [*****]. Sha Samuels vs Ricky Knight Jr: These two kept brawling on the outside of the ring which was not surprising to see, Samuels winning the title after 12 years was nice to see and I am glad he does not have to retire now and his career is safe as he won the match and the title, there were some decent spots like Samuels diving off the ledge near the entrance way onto RKJ and the ringside crew, did enjoy it though and was my 3rd favourite match on the show [****1/4]"
[8.0] "Fortunately night two weather was overcast otherwise would have been blinded and missed half the matches again. Great British Tag League Final match was great as well as Oku Vs Slater. RKJ vs Sha Samuels way exceeded my expectations and all the other matches were good. The Sunshine Machine vs Cru match didn't need to be on the show, not good."
[9.0] "The only thing stopping me putting this as a 10 is that the venue was really not fit for purpose - although I do want to say that the staff were fantastic. It was slightly hotter than the surface of the sun, if the toilets were any further away I would have needed Samwise Gamgee to carry me for the final stretch, and the seats weren't so much "uncomfortable" as they were "actively discomforting". There was no big screen to display action on, which usually isn't a massive issue but did cause problems when Sha and RKJ were brawling all over the stadium and we just couldn't see a lot of it. I have also seen pictures of people who just couldn't see for the first hour or so of the show due to the sunbeams coming through the venue. That is the only thing miring this otherwise fantastic show. The matches were excellent throughout, the talent were fantastic, the energy was awesome, the crowd were red hot (not just temperature wise), and the 5 hours absolutely flew by for me. A wonderful night of wrestling, I just hope they host it literally anywhere else next time."
[9.0] "Wayyy too long. But aside from that CRU match and the absolute nothing Uemura and Gale delivered, everything was either perfectly good or rocked."
[9.0] "So this was definitely better than night one with higher peaks ZSJ/Zozaya and Oku/Slater but it had the biggest low of the weekend with the god awful match and segment with the Sunshine machine. But overall the night was great you a little crowd pleasing 8 man and also had good solid matches throughout the card like the trios opener , Bryant/Robbie X, Persephone/Jayne and Uemura/gale that were all solid matches which would of looked great on most shows in 2025. Then we had a great tag league final and a main event which somehow and up being a good watch against what everyone's expectations were. Then you had the two MOTY contenders in the two matches before the main event. Overall what stops me going 10 on the show was the god awful sunshine machine bit as it sucked all the life out of the building for a good 20 minutes and the length normally i wouldn't complain but almost 5 hours for an Indy show is crazy could of just saved 20 binning of the awful segment. The show as normal had a great crowd and unfortunately i was not able to go but shoutout to Gideon Grey for the best 5 hour stand up comedy set of all time the bloke had me laughing for most of the show."
[9.0] "The better of the two nights. The tag final was exquisite, as were the two semi-mains, and even the main event wasn't as much of a disaster as I was fearing it could be. The only thing that drags it down was that terrible Sunshine Machine match, because we know all four guys can do better. Still, a really fun show, even if Andy Quildan is taking the wrong lessons from the Tony Khan school of card management; five hours on those bleachers in Crystal Palace are not nice on the posterior!"
[9.0] "Far superior to night one. The GBTL final, ZSJ/Zozaya, Slater/Oku and main event are all must watch matches (with the latter perhaps having a live-bias asterisk)."
[7.0] "As a show, it smoked night 1 of the weekend even if there was nothing I would go notebook on. Three matches got close to being great but all fell short for different reasons. Modern wrestling is all about "moments", some of which are earned and many unearned and this show had that in the Sha title win. There are questions coming out, not least the mid card purgatory all their younger talent are stuck in and who on earth the credible heel challengers are. The downside to this show was the length and the Sunshine Machine segment, RevPro often serve up some pretty mediocre stuff but it is very rare for them to deliver something quite as bad as that."
