[8.0] "I had a great time watching the RAW go-home show ! It was a solid episode just before WrestleMania. My hype for the triple threat main event just grew bigger because of this episode. That promo by Gunther was perfect and he's built as a strong champion now. But why did they make Gunther and Jey avoid themselves when they both spoke the same night ? I think the storyline lacked of good mic segments to explain themselves and it was another occasion here that was missed. It's still sad that Iyo, Bianca and Rhea don't have a segment in the ring but yeah, we know that the ladies have less time on screen... Bayley vs. Liv Morgan really cooked though ! It was by far the best match of the night ! They killed it."

The main event segment continues to be bad. Why are the 3 biggest stars fighting for the love of Paul Heyman? Why are IYO, Rhea, and Bianca doing video packages on the go home show? This show had me questioning if I even wanted to watch wrestlemania. 1/10"

Still, nothing really felt like this weekend is WM. Also an absurd amount of empty time, with unnecesair segments, vídeo packages and that Jey Uso segment was a crime."

"1) Kudos to Gunther and Jey Uso for elevating their storyline to the level worthy of the World Championship just three weeks before the WrestleMania. 2) The Roman Reigns - Paul Heyman - CM Punk love triangle is nothing I've ever seen not only in professional wrestling, but in any medium of storytelling, period. It's so unintentionally funny, yet serious at the same time. 3) I was ready to bet on Seth Rollins to win the Triple Threat, but seeing him stand tall at the end of the show makes me believe that his win is not as foregone a conclusion as many predict. But maybe that's how WWE wants to throw us off the scent."

[8.0] "Good show, I thought. It's probably underrated because it's the go-home Raw before Mania but all the matches were enjoyable and I thought it did a very good job of setting the table for the Seth-Punk-Roman Night 1 Main Event and the Gunther and Jey Uso promos were excellent - the place is going to blow if Jey pulls it off and becomes WHC. I continue to enjoy Bayley's matches and am intrigued by where her partnership with the ever-evolving Lyra Valkyria will go. And Rey vs Julius was a "banger", as the kids say. All in all a very enjoyable show in my opinion."

[4.0] "I'll give it 4 points for 4 matches on a 3 hour long show. My god are we back in the 90s? Raw used to come on at 8 and by 9:15 we had our first match. I like a story line to progress but c'mon this is becoming ridiculous. Also, does every match NEED outside interference? Do we really NEED that every time we watch a match? Not able to see a full 1 on 1 contest, but to see distractions, run ins, people in the crowd, at commentary, jesus christ what a mess. Does not make me WANT to watch Wrestlemania, even though I will anyway."

It's a two match show which is interesting because that's how cards were built once upon a time. The matches themselves in a vacuum were fine but there was nothing that made any other match on the mania card exciting. WWE really does take the no ppv approach for granted."

"Another solid RAW with this time more entertaining matches in my opinion. Rey Mysterio vs. Julius Creed was really fun for me and it made me excited for the his match in WrestleMania. The final segment was great in this show hands down and really highlights how deep the feud between Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and CM Punk go. I personally don't think this RAW needed to be the most amazing show right before WrestleMania because the real hype is going to come form the upcoming Smackdown which still has unfinished confirmations for the total WrestleMania card."

[8.0] "RAW before Wrestlemania is a success. No need for the main eventers, the middle of the card managed to make this show very good. We start with a very good promo from Gunther. 'You can thank God I'd kept control or I'd have drowned you in your brother's blood' is a wonderful line. Bayley/Morgan is a great match with a great feud, great wrestling, a crowd cheering for both. Very good match to hype up the tag team at WM. The second match of the evening between Mysterio and Julius Creed was also very good. Julius did very well (despite losing), showing his in-ring ability in his first solo match in the main roster and Rey Mysterio remained Rey Mysterio (50 years old and still going strong). I didn't expect to be invested in the Styles/Kross match. Karrion Kross isn't bad in this match but what I really liked about it was the psychological side of Karrion Kross. He's got mad potential as a character. The ending is very cool with Karrion Kross losing on purpose to give AJ Styles confidence. Logan's promo is average, though I really like his new finisher. I didn't like Jey Uso's promo. The beginning was OK because he was serious, but as soon as he asked for his music back, I knew he wasn't going to be serious any more. The main event between Balor and Penta was also very good, a great duel between the Irishman and the Mexican. I find the dq very logical because Breakker wasn't going to stand by and do nothing after being attacked by the JD. After match is very cool to hyper the fatal 4 way to WM. The end segment is nice with Rollins still making sense, Roman finally realising what's going on and CM Punk still arriving too late. Looking forward to the match at WM. I thought there were a few too many commercials during this RAW. Keep up the pace for future RAWs. I'd like to mention the Sacramento crowd, which I thought had a decent atmosphere."

The segments were bad and a big reason why i dont usually watch wwe it just isnt for me at all. The only positives were rey and julius having a good match and the opening gunther segment everything else belonged no where near a mania go home show."

[7.0] "While this didn't feel like a big show before wrestlemania I'd argue that's a good thing. The last few shows we haven't seen any shocking reveals or turns. That's because all the matches are basically set in stone at this point. Because for once it's been planned as it should. So the last two weeks are just there to reiterate to weekly viewers what wrestlemania will be and to show the card to more casual viewers that might not watch every week. I liked everything here, promo, angle or match, except for the opening match, which wasn't terrible either but mediocre."

[5.0] "An alright episode for a normal Monday Night RAW, but man for the go home RAW before mania this was disappointing, which isn't a surprise because this WrestleMania has been disappointing. The opening Gunther promo was great and easily the highlight of the show. The Bayley vs Liv match was good and both women are having good starts to the year so far. Julius Creed and Rey was fun for while it lasted and Balor vs Penta was decent but the problem with all those matches was too much interference. One or maybe even two of the matches tonight having interference is fine but 3/4 is over doing it. I get WWE loves doing outside interference but way too much on this show. The one match that didn't have interference was Kross vs AJ which was a pretty boring match in my opinion. It's hard to have a boring match with AJ, but Kross isn't very good in the ring. The Jey promo was whatever and the women's vignettes were fine but it's pretty lame that they weren't even on the last RAW show before mania. Feels like they just don't care. The Main Event segment wasn't bad, but it didn't make much sense with what Seth said. Respectfully how is the state of the of WWE or industry on the line in a match that has no stakes, and the main story of the match is about a manager? Them just doing the Brock vs Roman story from 2021 and doing it in 2025 with three people is lazy. I wasn't super excited about a Roman vs Seth vs Punk triple threat when it got announced but I thought the story could've been better than this. Like I said it's not "bad" but it's just not that interesting in my opinion. Overall for a go home RAW before WrestleMania this was underwhelming but also not surprisingly underwhelming with how lackluster this Mania build has been this year."

[4.0] "Overall, thought it was a solid show but not a worthy go home show card. Usually go home shows make sure the main fueds get most attention but these matches were good enough to gain the attention instead. Each matches had it's unique story to tell. One thing I noticed though was that the faces were acting heel-ish tonight. Lyra holding on to Bayley. Dragon Lee causing Julius. Even Penta, kicking Finn before the bell rang. While on the other hand, the heels were more babyface. Liv doing the 3 amigos, American Made standing up for their teammate which ends up getting thrown out and Kross helping AJ to show his evil ways before mania. Gunther Promo was sick though. Shame he's losing the title. Jey sucks. The main event promo sucks. The women didn't even get a spot."

[8.0] "Gunther opened the show and cut a very good promo one of the best in his career as he elaborated what he will do at WrestleMania against Jey Uso. The opening match for this show was the best match of the show as Bayley got the win over Liv Morgan and has added much-needed momentum for her and Lyra Valkyria for their WWE Women's Tag Team Championship Match at WrestleMania. I enjoyed Rey Mysterio taking on Julius Creed this was such a fun match. I'm super glad we got a Julius Creed singles match and it delivered. After the match, El Grande Americano blindsided Rey Mysterio and started to brawl. It was very good stuff as this build for the match has been very fun. AJ Styles took on the underrated Karrion Kross in a very solid match. This was Karrion Kross's first match in a long time and he had a solid performance. What I liked was the detail of him wearing similar tights made by the same people who make AJ Styles' gear. The after-match stuff was solid as Logan Paul with help from Karrion Kross laid out AJ Styles and stood tall before their match at WrestleMania. Finn Balor and Penta had the Main Event Match and it was fun until the match ended in a no-contest. The last bit of the show involving CM Punk, Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns was okay very lackluster build from them they didn't highlight The Shield, the history between them more deeper it has just been a Paul Heyman drama."

[6.0] "For a WrestleMania go home episode of RAW, this was not that bad just fine really, the only main thing that stood out was the promo by Gunther that was fire just days before his title defense against Jey Uso, the closing segment featuring Roman Reigns, CM Punk and Seth Rollins was okay but nothing that we hadn't seen before. Bayley vs Liv Morgan: There were some good sequences throughout the match, they had a solid match, Lyra and Raquel getting involved towards the end worked decently well ahead of the match featuring the four at WrestleMania [***1/2]. Rey Mysterio vs Julius Creed: An interesting match between these two, American Made and LWO getting involved was okay but did not need to happen before they got ejected from ringside, El Grande Americano coming down to the ring was no surprise [**3/4]. AJ Styles vs Karrion Kross: Kross wrestling on TV is good to see as when he does, purpose of this match was to boost Styles ahead of him facing Logan Paul at WrestleMania, the action was fine at best [**1/2]. Finn Balor vs Penta: A match that needed a decisive winner but obviously Bron Breakker was gonna get involved given Judgement Day attacked him earlier in the night, underwhelming sadly, need a rematch down the road [**]"

[8.0] "Overall, this was a good go-home episode. While it was a bit surprising not to see the Women's World Title Triple Threat competitors appear live, their promo packages did the job. The show wrapping up at 2 hours and 25 minutes was unexpected, but honestly, no complaints, better to end on a solid note than drag it out with filler during an already overloaded WrestleMania week."
Hazem wrote on 15.04.2025:
[6.0] "Gunther was great, the first two matches were pretty damn good even if they collectively had little heat. The rest of the show was mediocre, and the build to the Reigns/Rollins/Punk triple threat has been downright terrible. Of all the directions they could've went for these three guys, having them wrestle was the worst one and what's even worse is them wrestling for nothing but who gets to be Heyman's friend. A lot of uninteresting segments that will lead to a match where people will just sit there waiting for Heyman to inevitable get inolved. Also it feels like every RAW's main event is a match between two if the guys in the IC title match and ends in a DQ. This would've been a decent RAW but as the go-home fell flat."

[6.0] "I'd have given this a point or two more if this was a regular RAW. As it's the last RAW before WrestleMania 41, however, I needed a bit more from this show that it didn't provide. The build has been largely lackluster, and not much here other than Punk, Reigns and Rollins convinced me otherwise. A couple of solid matches though."
