[9.0] "Coffey Vs Hendry was just decent and Sinclair Vs Kendal was bad, but Page Vs Oro was solid, Kelani Vs Tatum and Dunne Vs Trick were both good and Fraziom Vs MSK and Wes' heel turn were both fantastic. Overall NXT Great American Bash (2024) Day 2 is a really great show."

[8.0] "Good episode of NXT for the second week in a row. All three title matches on this show delivered and on top of that, the stories were able to naturally progress. The Wes heel turn at the end of the show was genuinely shocking."

[8.0] "Good fun show here, started off with a great match from Pete & Trick. The womens North American championship could have been better if it was given more time, but it was still good. The NXT title match was good too. Joe vs Joe was decent but the crowd was extreme for it. It is interesting to see what Wren will add in the NQCC after that match. The main event was a banging one, those 4 had amazing chemistry with each other. Overall, very fun show, I enjoyed it a lot."

That dude has been thrown twice by a lady now and this week got slammed into a table by a group of them. Strikes me as an Austin Theory type - very athletic goober heel who can be the butt of the joke and do fun spots in the ring. Looking forward to seeing more of him. His line about Dempsey mumbling all the time made me laugh. Overall, another solid week and I think the Great American Bash has been a success for NXT."

[9.0] "I enjoyed this weeks edition of NXT, and did think it was an improvement over last weeks Bash. Its nice to see Pete Dunne getting some serious wins on tv again. This is long overdue, and the right call if he's going to be feuding with Sheamus on the main roster. Trick continues to get better each week and Dunne seemed to bring out a more physical style out of him. This was good stuff. Kelani Jordan vs Tatum Paxley was pretty good. I like that they actually give the matches a decent amount of time to get over. Kelani is getting better each time out and is certainly somebody who I think will be doing big things in the next couple of years. I'm actually enjoying the new Wendy Choo gimmick so I hope this leads to a match between her and Tatum next week. Ethan Page vs Oro Mensah was superb. Ethan is really coming into his own now and I've been a fan of Oro since his NXT UK days. Joe Hendry and the response he gets is one of the highlights of NXT at the moment. This was another good match and he's surely somebody WWE is going to be looking to sign when he becomes available. Wren Sinclair vs Kendal Grey was fine for what it was. Wren is a good worker and Kendal clearly is somebody thats getting better each time we see her. I'm actually enjoying the Wren story with the NQCC. Axiom and Nathan Frazer vs MSK was as good as you'd expect it to be, and I really didn't see the heel turn by Wes coming at the end. That genuinely intrigues me as its something we've not seen from Wes on WWE television."

[6.0] "This is a pretty decent episode; Dunne/Williams had a fun match, one of my favorites from Trick so far, he's definitely getting better in-ring, and somebody like Dunne really helped him have a good match. Surprised to see Dunne win. Jordan/Paxley was enjoyable, Page/Mensah was okay, Hendry/Coffey was enjoyable and the crowd are so behind Joe Hendry, Sinclair/Grey was forgettable and the main event was really good. I didn't like Wes Lee's heel turn though, completely unnecessary if you ask me. I don't enjoy NXT most weeks, but they're capable of having some good episodes and pay-per-views every now and then, and this was one of them."

[7.0] "The opening match between Pete Dunne and Trick was solid. It felt like a very random matchup, but they worked well together. Dunne gets a clean win (6/10). Kelani vs Tatum for the women's NA title was pretty good. The crowd was behind the heel Tatum and she's been showing improvement in the ring lately. Kelani manages to overcome a knee injury to retain (6/10). Page vs Oro for the NXT title was fine. Page retains and hopefully his uninteresting feud with Oro is over so he can do more important things (6/10). Joe Hendry vs Joe Coffey was a decent match with the crowd going nuts for Hendry that helped make it more enjoyable. He's easily the most over guy in NXT right now (6/10). Wren vs Kendal wasn't anything special and was short, not sure why that match was on the show. Could have given more time to the main event instead. Axiom and Frazer vs MSK for the tag team titles was good. They went at a fast pace and did a lot of moves. The story going in was the champions not being united, so it was a surprise when they retained. Just as the show is about to go off the air, Wes Lee turns heel and attacks The Rascalz. Definitely didn't see that coming. The second night of the Great American Bash was a good episode of NXT. While the skits weren't as entertaining as the first night, the matches were consistently better and had more going on with the storylines. 7/10"

[7.0] "Solid episode with the World and Tag Title matches the highlights, plus a big turn at the end. NXT is fun when they put a good effort in, just a few weeks left on USA (and SYFY the past couple of weeks) before they move over to the CW."

[9.0] "Pete Dunne vs Trick Williams: What a match to get NXT started this week, Williams proved that he inexperience nearly paid off when he was able to hang with the more experienced Dunne even in defeat for Williams, the avalanche flapjack from Williams to Dunne was nice to see from the top rope, Dunne winning was okay but would like to have seen Williams win [***3/4]..Kelani Jordan vs Tatum Paxley: An okay match, given that Jordan was wrestling most of the match with an injured leg she did well on only one good leg, Paxley nearly beating Jordan on a couple of occasions was surprising to see but Jordan proved that she had the tenacity of a champion to pull through and get the win against Paxley [***]. Ethan Page vs Oro Mensah: Oro really surprised in this one, he proved that he can hang with the best NXT wrestlers in this case being Page, he could have beaten Page on a couple of occasions, a match that was better than I expected it to be [***3/4]. Joe Hendry vs Joe Coffey: A decently fine match, Hendry resorting to using underhanded tactics to get Mark Coffey and Wolfgang (on the outside) ejected from ringside was funny to see how he did it, Hendry winning the match was good to see [**3/4]. Wren Sinclar vs Kendal Grey: An okay women's match that saw Sinclair win which was good to see [*1/2]. Axiom & Nathan Frazer vs Wes Lee & Zachary Wentz: A really good match, both teams had great chemistry and it showed, the only issue I have is that they should have had more time, as it felt like the time they had just flew by [****]"

[7.0] "A good second part of The Great American Bash, not at the level of the first half but still entertaining. The opener reminded everyone what an incredible athlete Pete Dunne is, and I hope he gets a push on the main roster as well. The match for the North American Women's Title was also very nice; I was extremely pleased to see the crowd cheering so strongly for TatumI find her to be a really excellent athlete. The main event was also good, although it seemed like a replica of the 3v3 we saw on NXT two weeks ago with two fewer men. The final heel turn was unexpected and executed very well."

"A decent second week of GAB headlined by a legitimate surprise in a Wes Lee heel turn. I see big things for him in the future. Excited for next weeks NXT as they seem to be building a lot with a Heritage Cup, a possible North American and Tag titles match."
