[7.0] "Good episode of Rampage with more at stake than usual. The Nashville crowd was decent. The RR format is fun with two rings and there were some good spots, However there was only ever going to be maybe 2-3 realistic winners at best, given that there was a world title shot on the line. Kip Sabian vs Swerve/Danielson isn't going to be a big draw. Darby going out there after doing nearly an hour in Blood & Guts was wild. He didn't nearly kill himself anywhere close to what I expected in the B&G match but he took a bit of a beating in the RR. The kid is insane and clearly loves it. There was a couple of squash matches in between the RR and the main event, including the jobbing giant Lance Archer in action. The main event itself was fun for a C show. AEW's tag division is quite weak right now and could do with a boost but this was a decent enough showcase of what they do have right now outside the main eventers. Enjoyable hour overall despite the quibbles."

[5.0] "A mostly whatever episode of rampage. The double ring battle royale was the big draw for this and it was fun, but fairly unremarkable this time around. Other than that, there wasn't much else of note this episode. [MOTN: Royal Rampage Match]"

[4.0] "No need for Lance Archer to be put in a squash match. Should have put him in the Royal Rampage in place of Brandon Cutler or Matt Menard. Then to book Darby to win it? SMH. Leila Gray deserved more than 54 seconds. I understand she's not going over on Kris Statlander, but she's not a jobber. Main event was fine."

[6.0] "Decent show. The big Battle Royal was the major selling point. Kind of funny that they put it on first."

[6.0] "Opens with the Rampage Royale: Was fairly slow paced as the rings started filling up. The first elimination was Brandon Cutler, 13 minutes into the show. Daddy Magic was next out. Its been slow so far. Kyle O Reilly comes out and gets a big pop. Jeff Jarrett comes out and gets the mega pop, good for him. Picture in Picture. Butcher out. Taven enters and hits a good sequence of moves. Kommander knocked out by Nick Wayne. Jay Lethal joins Jarrett. Nick Wayne eliminated by Sabian. Mike Bennett enters. 3 on 3, undisputed kingdom and conglomeration in left ring. Mortos enters. Sabian eliminated by Jarrett and Lethal. DARBY enters, another big Pop. Hes the man. Gets flattened by Brody King. Jarrett and Lethal do the strut, great stuff. Final participant, Lio Rush. Lets go. Brody king and Darby head into the crowd. Bennett and Ishii eliminated straight after the break. Darby chair shotted Brodys head on the steps. Orange eliminated, Taven and O Reilly all eliminated in quick fashion. Mortos eliminated at some point. Missed it. Roderick strong FLATTENED by Brody and eliminated at the same time as Roddy. Lethal eliminated. Darby Eliminates Brody! Jarrett fires up and gets some offence. Hangman jumps in and flattens Jarrett. He gets eliminated by Brian cage and they go to break with Hangman beating the snot out of JJ. Back from the break, Claudio eliminates Brian Cage, great performance from the Vanilla Gorilla. Darby and Claudio last left. Darby hits the coffin drop for the win. Good from all involved. 6.5-7/10 Willow backstage Promo into a Kris Statlander squash match. Classic Rampage fodder. Lance archer squash match. Saraya and Harley backstage segment, pointless. Four way tag main event. Outrunners, Rush/Fletcher, private party, righteous. Bang average without being offensive. Would rather see the Righteous get some proper matches, but it is what it is and this is Rampage. The whole show started ok and went back into form after the opener. One of the better episode of the last few weeks. 6/10"

[5.0] "A fine episode. The Royal Rampage match ended up being enjoyable coming down to a satisfying final two. The Statlander & Archer wins served their purpose. The main event was fine but a bit underwhelming."

[6.0] "A very even show. Every segment was satisfactory. None stood out particularly. I like the Royal Rampage, because I believe that if you set up two rings for your War Games, you should use it for other things too."

[7.0] "AEW World Title #1 Contendership Royal Rampage Match: A great match to get Rampage started and to determine the challenger for the World Title at Grand Slam, some memorable moments, Darby Allin showed once again his perserverance and the fact he won was good to see, quite enjoyed watching the match [****]. Kris Statlander vs Leila Grey: A squash match to get Statlander on the show [DUD]. Lance Archer vs Alejandro: Another squash match this time to have Archer on the show [DUD]. Kyle Fletcher & Rush vs Isiah Kassidy & Marq Quen vs Truth Magnum & Turbo Floyd vs Dutch & Vincent: A fun well worked four way tag match, every team did their parts well and the action was solid [***1/4]"
