[5.0] "An average pre-show at best, even with FOUR matches on the show. Mansoor & Mason Madden vs Angelico & Serpentico: An okay first match in ROH for Mansoor and Madden, the action was average at best, should have faced a different team [*3/4]. Marina Shafir vs Angelica Risk: A one minute squash match that got Shafir on the card [DUD]. Carlie Bravo & Shawn Dean vs Anthony Henry & Griff Garrison: An okay at best match, Bravo and Dean getting the win was good to see, the action was average at best [*3/4]. Dante Martin & Darius Martin vs Truth Magnum & Turbo Floyd: This was an average at best match that would have best suited on a weekly episode of ROH TV, but it was fine for what it was [*3/4]"
[6.0] "Fine pre-show featuring FOUR matches. During the last one, Riccaboni even said that if the match finished early they had a standby match to go to to fill the time. It's the complete opposite to WWE's pre-show matches these days where kick off matches are rare. Still, I enjoyed MxM's debut. They are a fun team. The Outrunners are also good fun. Marina Shafir never actually does anything substantial but she's a killer and I like her squashes. Thought Infantry/Henry & Griff was the best match in ring. Anthony Henry is real good and I was impressed by Dean & Bravo."
[7.0] "Good zero hour to get me primed and ready for the ppv, had a good collection of different tag teams and hopefully see some of them on AEW soon as they need more credible tag teams."
[4.0] "The treatment of ROH's Zero Hour when compared to AEW's pre-show feels like night and day. Roping in a few notable names and giving the last-minute hype to the matches in the main card combined with one or two warm-up matchups is a great structure, and I'm still confused about why it hasn't been done in ROH. Keeping the debut of MxM aside, the remaining matches didn't need to be here and would've easily fit any weekly show on HonorClub."
[4.0] "Nothing terribly interesting of note. The matches felt thrown together with a lot of the old "hard sell" for the ppv. Not terrible but definitely skippable."
